This place is by far the dirtiest and biggest scam I’ve ever experienced. We got the car on Expedia for $200 after taxes and fees. When we got to the shop we were told it would be almost $600. The workers made us feel stuck telling us we are stranded if we don’t pay for the car. We were tired from the long trip and just decided to pay the total. Come to find out the side mirror was taped on and dents all over the side. We said whatever and drove our long way to where my family and I were staying. Very soon into our drive realize there are cockroaches crawling all throughout. I wish I could post a video of the cockroaches crawling around but it only allows pictures on here. I had to drive in fear of seeing a cockroach crawl on me for 6 days. Instead of returning the car we decided to put up with it since the drive back to the rental place was too long and we wanted to enjoy our stay. I have bug bites on my legs probably from the bugs in the car. I never leave reviews, but this needed to be done. I haven’t dropped off the car yet, but we will 100% be letting every employee and everyone at the rental shop know our experience. My vacation is amazing but this car made me dread going anywhere. If I see cockroaches in my house I will SUE THE COMPANY. MOST DISGUSTING THING I EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH.

What is advertised online is not what you will pay.They force you to take their insurance even if you have full coverage with your credit card and with your personal car insurance. If you don't take their insurance they will just tell you that you can't rent and free to leave when you are already way out of the airport and have all your luggages around.The car is dirty and full of stains. They also say they will put a 300$ hold but in reality they will charge you 300$ on your credit card which they say will refund after 7 days! So that's already a lie to begin with. There is no hold and you end up dishing out and extra 300$ out of nowhere that you won't get right away once you return the car. Hotels put hold and release the hold after. Advantage charged us an extra 300$The workers there don't really care.They also tell you to get the toll pass which is around 20$ USD every day because you will need it. They said going to FLL to Miami, you have no choice but to pass to a toll way. Good thing we didn't take it because it's a complete lie.I will avoid and lesson learned!!

Instead of just putting a hold on it, they actually charged it. After returning the car I was told it would 7-15 business days to get my deposit back. It has now been over 15 days and still no deposit is refunded! I called this company and the phones don't work. A girl answered me on another phone number and told me that they moved to a new location and that they have problems with the system, which is why they haven't been able to return the deposits. They are scammers and I hope the law does something about it and EXPEDIA should not wash its hands because thanks to them many of us fall into hiring this company that is a total scam.

Secondly, the person who helped my fiancé was so coked out he didn’t know up from down. Thirdly, they tried telling us we needed to pay an additional $600 for “insurance” even though we had already paid in full and had insurance. We walked out and got a ride back to the airport to rent a car from a reputable company. First and last time we will ever make this mistake. Learn from us, DO NOT GO HERE!Editing to add this: if you used Priceline to book a rental with this place please make sure you call Priceline to let them know about the scam Advantage is running. We called to let them know but more people should as well so they remove Advantage as an option so other people won’t be scammed by them!
