I’m writing this review to warn others and hopefully prevent anyone else from being taken advantage of like we were.We rented a vehicle that was clearly not roadworthy. It broke down on us shortly after we picked it up, leaving us stranded and forced to call roadside assistance. After that incident, it became very clear that this company is not operating with integrity or concern for customer safety.Here’s what we experienced:• Faulty Vehicles: The car we were given was an auction vehicle – old, poorly maintained, and not even properly inspected. They’re clearly buying cheap auction cars and turning them around quickly to unsuspecting renters without investing in basic upkeep or safety checks.• Predatory Practices: The employees seem well-trained in manipulating customers, particularly targeting elderly renters who may not fully understand what they’re signing. Their vehicles are covered in visible damage, and the employees will casually assure you that it’s all “minor” and won’t count against your rental. But when you return the car, they’ll suddenly find “new” damage — in my case, underneath the vehicle in a spot, you could only see by lying on the ground. It’s something I obviously didn’t cause and wouldn’t have been able to inspect, but that didn’t matter to them.Instead of having a fair conversation or investigating reasonably, they push you to file a claim with your insurance. If not, then they threaten to take legal action against you. That’s clearly their business model — squeeze money out of insurance payouts rather than maintain or repair their fleet. They are clearly pocketing the money from other incidents because the cars have old damage. Just read the other reviews — this isn’t a one-off. It’s a consistent pattern.Worse, their customer service is nonexistent. Calls go unanswered, emails are ignored, and there's no real way to resolve the issue. When you finally get through to someone, they are very rude and unprofessional. They’re not interested in customer service — only in collecting insurance money.Avoid this company at all costs. It’s not worth the headache or the risk.
Jul 10, 2025 · Jon C.UPDATE: Per Allied response below, I have tried reaching out with several phone calls and an email per their instructions. Every phone call has been met with a disconnect. My first email never was responded to. My insurance company even said that they were not getting the response they needed. Allied has NOT tried to communicate with me regarding this supposed claim besides ONE TEXT message with one picture stating they are claiming a scrap on a bumper. All videos, pictures have been turned over to my insurance company. Since their response to this Google review I have send a 2nd email. Wish me luck that they actually with respond back. I have also documented the way their crew drives their vehicles around the property and the strong smell of weed on the property why the guys are "working". Just don't trust them and if you decide to, apparently the only way to get their attention is to leave a Google review.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Never given a rental agreement or a final receipt. They took $500 out of my credit card and then filed a claim with my car insurance for what they claim was a scrape on the bumper. I tried calling the claims department multiple times and get hung up each time. When I dropped the car off the girl at the front desk said they would return the $500 deposit and sent me on my way. Later that evening I got a text with one pictures stating the car was damaged. I have not received any other information from them. Calls hung up on and emails not returned. Absolutely a scam of a company. The car was dirty when I got it. The service lights were coming on while I had it. Between my car insurance company and soon my lawyer hopefully we can get this taken care of since this company seems to have ghosted me.
