I tried to reach the office but the call gets diverted to corporate. So I walked over there ( about a mile1/2 ) and the staff there was so super nice! They apologized for the lack of phone contact ( no service underground) and went above and beyond to track down my missing item. The woman at the desk ( Donna?) was so friendly and kind. She called the Warren street location where the car was last returned after I had rented it. Two really helpful employees ( Leon and Tyrone) went looking for my lost item. They finally found it ( yay!!) and held it for me until I came to get it an hour or so later. These folks - in both locations - went above and beyond to help me and I was ( am ) super grateful.Even though the price for the rental was pretty high, I would definitely rent from these two locations again. Thank you everyone at the 11th street, and Warren street locations! I am a customer for life!!

However, we didn't receive our vehicle until around 10:20am - over an hour after when we were supposed to be on the road! We missed our prepaid tour (which was obviously non-refundable). While the clerk calmly tried his best to remediate the frustration (all he could do was take our names down to put us on a waitlist for a vehicle we have already booked), it is horrible to not have a reliable method of transportation when we have made plans assuming that Avis would be able to honor the reservation that I made. I do not want to put my day at risk again with Avis.
Jul 13, 2025 · Kyle MadriagaPrepare for frustration when booking with Avis. Our reserved & confirmed car wasn’t available and we were placed on a waitlist. We ended up waiting 3 hours after our confirmed pick up time for our vehicle. 3 days after the return of our car I received a notification stating the car had never been returned. Turned out the crew had never checked in our car upon the return even though we had personally handed over the keys and I was required to physically travel back to the location to set this right. All in all an extremely frustrating experience. Crew was friendly but the reservation system & company policies are aweful.

Unacceptable.In response to your reply, Monte. I already emailed your team and Jeremy Sanchez replied. Absolutely no help and horrible customer service. Once again do not rent from this location.
