BE AWARE!! This is the worst place ever. I have been here 2 times, the first time I couldn’t get a car because of my own fault.Both times wait time was extremely unprofessional. I needed to be out of the place fast and it took approximately 25 min to be seen the first time, the second time I couldn’t even get to the counter. All I could hear was laughs and laughs from the interaction between the customer that was at the counter at the time and the person serving them. They were discussing which salad from Chick fill a was better. I got here at 1:55 pm and needed to be in Baltimore before 3 pm but since discussing that they like to eat was more important I had to pay for a Uber to take me there instead.I don’t know what it will for corporate or someone to do something about this location. Terrible experience, yeah the people in the counter might be nice and all but if they are not effective or have a timely manner to attend customers because others might be in a rush then maybe you should go somewhere else to work.I hope to never have to come back here again cause what a tragic place to be atThank you for nothing

I am under the impression that the workers here are scamming people and or practicing unethical business practices. This is the second time I was swindled into paying more money that my original price point was. First time, Jamie used deceptive language that encouraged me to extend my rental time for an extra day after giving me the impression extra charges would not apply; or that he'd take care of it on his end; which he did not.This second time, I returned the car back at 12:26PM. My due time was 12:30PM. I was then charged an extra $41 for an additional hour because the clerk, Shawn clocked me in at 1:04PM. He denied I turned it in at 12:26PM and claimed he clocked in the time correctly. Guess that means, my watch, car clock and phone were all wrong as well as I zoomed down Kansas Ave to get it back before 12:30PM; but I digress. I could only show my phone's call log of me calling my ride at 12:27PM inquiring their location given I then had no means of transportation.Since I had no physical proof, it became a "he said, he said" back and forth. I had no choice but to just accept a credit he was offering me. Nevertheless, during my dispute of the charges, Shawn proceeded with his attempts to gaslight me into thinking I actually returned the car at the 1:04PM timestamp he docked. He took offense to me opposing said timestamp, called me retarded, insinuated I was broke for disputing over $41 and was dismissive. He even claimed there was nothing he could do and was so stuck on giving me a credit because the reservation was closed out and "gone" a day after returning their vehicle. I would not be surprised if he often gives out credits instead of lifting a finger to issue refunds all for the sake assuring and luring people into continuously coming back to their facility.I, without a doubt, do not trust this facility and will not be back. Never read the other one star Google reviews until after this experience. I'm still shocked by the upcharges they managed to dish out to me for a second time. Had to see if anyone else had issues with this facility reading the reviews.Although this location is more accessible than Avis at Reagan Airport, I will be continuing at Reagan. There are real shady, questionable practices happening at this location. Very unprofessional and sleazy. Still love Avis and will use them; just not this location on Blair Rd.

I rented a car from here during the pandemic. They have markings to keep costumers socially distanced. I had to wait for almost 1 hour to get a car as they didn’t have many cars. The staff were very friendly and polite. But they did not wear any face protection. I wish they would have..! Overall it was ok.

They always say they don't have cars for Uber Drivers evenif you have reservations. One of my friends told me that if you give $40 then they will give a nice car that means employees need to be Bribed.

This is the 3rd time I booked a car with this location. The staff are very friendly and super efficient. I was out the door and with a better car than I booked in 3 minutes. Next time I come to DC I will rent from this location again.
