The travel delays are beyond their control as is online bookings, but they did everything in their power to make sure they helped as many people as they could. They were patient and kind, even when they had customers taking out their frustrations on them. I really appreciate them, and Avis is lucky to have them represent the company! GREAT JOB GUYS!!

The worst customer service experience of my life. We arrived on 7/11 to pick up a car we had reserved MONTHS in advance. When we arrived we were informed our car was not available. There were cars we could rent in a higher category (7 passenger vehicles only apparently), but we would have to pay the difference of several hundred dollars. When we expressed that we should not be penalized for their mistake, and they should give us a car that was available and honor our quoted price they just shrugged and said there was nothing they could do. I asked why no one had called ahead to inform us, and they said "were were busy so...". As we continued to try and resolve this issue many other customers arrived who were told the same thing.At this point we called customer service, who informed us that yes they should honor or reservation price and give us an available car. The customer service agent asked to speak to the front desk workers on speaker phone to help explain this. Immediately one of the front desk staff, Qua, began to raise her voice at us and the customer service rep, stating they could not help us. She continued to raise her voice and yell at us for several minutes while we remained calm and tried to have her listen to the customer service rep. We finally had to step away from the desk as I could not stand there and be yelled at and felt at that point even if they had cars, they would not be willing to assist us. On our way out we did witness several vehicles that Avis staff were cleaning or moving that were 5 passenger vehicles, not just 7 as they had said.The customer service rep offered to have us try another Avis location where she said her system showed there were cars available. We ubered there and learned they were also out of cars upon arrival.Due to the delay this experience took and being stranded in a strange city where we didn't know anyone, we missed out on appointments that cost us money we will not be able to recuperate. We were able to contact a friend and had to Uber over and hour and a half outside the city to sleep on their sofa before our fight out the next day.

Canceled my rental I paid in advance for and told me to call customer service for a refund but their customer service line doesn't work. I left my daughter in the building while I called other places since they didnt have any cars available and not only did they mock multiple peoples accents, they played extremely inappropriate cartoons on their TV. Please for your sanity never come here.

Major disconnect between Avis Corporate and this location!After giving the employee my ID, she started ranting at us quite aggressively how they don't have any of that car in stock and if we want to rent a car we would have to upgrade. We are not picky on the type of car, anything was fine, but she then kept going on about how they don't even have that type of car and we will have to pay more. We asked if she could just comp the upgrade since we had a reservation, but she just yelled at us we would have to take an uber all the way back to the aiport to get the type of car we rented. Something about how her management didn't allow her to actually fulfill the reservation we had.This felt like a total bait and switch. Its not our fault you don't have the car type we were allowed to rent - doesn't make any sense for us to have to pay for the difference. We were in a bind unfortunately, so we ended up just paying the difference. It ended up not being a huge amount but it felt really dishonest of the location.We then waited half an hour to get the car we were required to pay more for. May 07, 2025 · maxDue to massive airline cancellations in Atlanta, the Atlanta airport was completely out of vehicles - from ALL rental companies. I went to AVIS at the downtown Peachtree location where Rae was totally swamped with a HUGE line of cancelled airline customers who had booked a car online. She only had a few vehicles in the lot, but did everything she could to get vehicles for each customer. She kept her cool and worked really well with all the customers, explaining the situation to everyone. She was able to help numerous customers and with the help of the Buford GA location, many of us were able to get a vehicle - we just had to get a rideshare over to that location. Yonas was also super friendly at the Buford location and got us all squared away to get a rental vehicle to get home. THANK YOU for your awesome help this weekend.
