I want to start out with man who took my call and wouldn’t offer his name. He had a horrible attitude and was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. When asked about my reservation, he immediately said it was cancelled because they didn’t have an economy car. He told me that I could pay an extra $12 in addition to the $118 rental fee for a Corrolla. I asked him why I was being charged extra since they didn’t have the car. He immediately became angered by the question and insisted that the price would go up. “You can take that or else.” That attitude of course changed the entire call. I am a professional and work with the public as well and I would’ve Never responded to a paying customer in the manner that he did. He chose to talk over me so I told him that I would verify if this was what my husband had set up for me. When I called back eight (8) minutes later. I identified myself and asked if the car will be available for the agreed 5 pm pick up. He once again showed His unprofessionalism and continued to say I’m not guaranteeing that the car will be here and u can pay the $130. I told him that I would call at 4:30 pm to see if the car would be available by 5 pm. The derogatory tone, blatant disrespect, & arrogant manner that he used with me makes me angry yet disappointed that I am still in NEED of a car for this family emergency. If I am able to get the car, I will assure you that every person within the Woodstock/ Canton area will know NOT to go to this particular Avis Rental Car Location. This is the first time that we’ve received this type of treatment from such a Rude and Despicable person who needs customer service training. As a paying customer and former Human Resources Manager, I would Strongly Recommend removing this individual from his position immediately. If by chance he is the owner of the establishment, you, Sir, DO NOT DESERVE the business from hard working individuals who made the choice to patronize your business. If you Cannot treat your customers with respect, dignity and kindness when entering or calling this establishment. You Sir should close your doors immediately. The check-in process is always quick and smooth.The cars I receive are clean, well-maintained, and exactly what I reserve. And if my vehicle isn't ready or not at the store, they work with you to get into another vehicle so you can get on the road. I really appreciate the seamless process and the helpful attitude of the team.This location in Woodstock, GA makes my rental experience stress-free and enjoyable. The Franchise Owner (can't remember his name) has a plethora of knowledge and always has great stories to tell. I'm glad I live so close to this location because I’ll definitely be returning for future rentals and highly recommend this location to anyone in need of a reliable car and great customer service.
