I need the car and wanted to catch the payments up quickly. I was charged 1300 in one day and when I inquired as to why I was treated very rudely. I was asked to pay as if only 1 payment was made. It toke days for me to find out they did not put my weeks into the system correctly so the additional 950 was late fees and the extra weeks.I was yelled at in front of a room full of customers by the older black gentleman to just bring the car back and how I have been late etc. I am new to Texas and I’m just trying to work. I was willing to figure out what happened yet was just meet with rudeness. Instead of admitting they made a mistake and how could we work together so I can keep the car I was texted repeatedly to bring the car back.I don’t know if it’s because I’m a woman or if I seem like an easy target to basically have my money taken and have no vehicle as well with no explanation other than check your bank statements.I have already been told by Avis customer service it was in fact their mistake and I’m owed a refund. If they just would have handle my account correctly there would have been no issues and my payments would have continued fine. But I’m not paying more money when you keep telling me you never charged me 950 and you clearly did. It was the main Avis location and not them per se but you know you didn’t put my weeks in right so I guess that’s why they were so rude to me.If you are looking for zero accountability and being met with hostility for asking questions then please go here. Thank god I found another car and will be returning this one ASAP. If this is the treatment people receive in Texas maybe I need to move. Lol

We were on route to having a really messed up vacation weekend with the previous car rental company which left us stranded. The owner got us hooked up with a nice car explained everything for us and answered all our questions. Price was also good. He even gave us a couple local places to try for great food experience while were in town. Thanks again Marion😁

Their dismissive response, "Why are you here? I don't have a car, and it's not my business to inform you," was both unhelpful and jarring, especially given my confirmed booking. The lack of a vehicle and the representative's rudeness constituted a highly unsatisfactory customer service experience.

During that time Avis employees are txting me for a payment. I explain and send screen shots that I have the money but my card is locked .I ask can I please pay two payments when it’s released. They place payments on pending and my card will not allow me to pay a pending charge ? The charge is 354 per week so I ask them to take 1 week and release charge so I can pay the next week about 709 in total.. I am charged 354 and then 946? I texted an employee to ask why the 946 charge . They said they don’t know or show the charges ? They ask me to come in. I say okay even though it’s inconvenient because I work during the day . I go in and instantly I am told by the owner I need to check my own bank statements and receipts? I tell him I show nothing on the app but the type of car? And can he not tell me why the charge of 946? I am told to come behind the counter and look how I am behind 442 ? I say okay even though I try to show my credit card statement. He won’t look at the statement at ALL. I am told he doesn’t see the charge on my account?? So I ask what should I do just eat the 946? He asks me to pay again? I say I can’t because I am over my credit limit ? Then the African American older gentleman says very rudely with about 4 customers in the office that at this point I need to just bring the car back. That I am late an have been late from day 1? I wasn’t rude at all nor was I talking to him specifically but the owner.. I am so mad the whole time my voice is shaking so I guess he thought this was okay treatment of a customer ? I finally just walk out because I am just the center of attention at this point. I need the car and I was late but why the rude treatment? I leave and call Avis I get someone who has a clue . He shows the 946 and all charges. Because I am thru Uber my account was suppose to be closed and reopened each week. It wasn’t so I was charged the 946 for the additional weeks and late fees. I find out I am owed a refund? I text the owner or someone from Avis and say hey I found out what happened etc. I asked the guy from billing why they didn’t see this charge and he said they did ? The owner was texting me as soon as I left saying they were going to repo the car and saying they could report it stolen? They treated me so ugly and rude for their screw up!!!’ Obviously I want to keep the car but you can’t explain a charge to me without shaming me in an office full of customers ??? I was literally almost in tears . This man needs to be fired asap and the owner was completely clueless. If I am asking you about a charge why not find out where the charge came from? Instead of saying check your receipts just complete BS like am I stupid? I guess because I am a woman and black this behavior is okay. The older man was black but he is probably use to treating his own like they are stupid. I am definitely not that, I will be complaining to the better business bureau and any platform that will listen . Because this type of behavior is not okay?
