She waited almost 2 hours for the van to be brought in from another location, and was told she had to cancel the reservation and redue it for 3x the price she paid... We made the reservation about a month and a half ago... We are trying to take a family trip to Disney world and this is about to make it where we can't go... And Disney does not do refunds.

Once before we had to delay leaving for a trip for several hours because “the other location hadn’t brought the van over on time”. We over looked it and even began to book the vehicle the night before to prevent any delays to our trip (increased cost to us because we wanted to plan around Avis logistic issues). This time when I picked up the van the outside was dirty and the inside was full of sand in the 2nd and 3rd row and sunflower seeds in front and second row. The girl at the desk told me that they had several vehicles and the person who was cleaning had a tough time getting them all done. I got in and noticed the inside was dirty as I mentioned but thought nothing of it because I was in a hurry and she already said that they had a tough time. I turned the vehicle in prior to the due date, and a day later I realized I hadn’t received the receipt like I usually do via email. I called Avis customer service and they said that the rental hadn’t been completed but they would call the local shop to sort out. I also called the local store and the person who answered said that they did receive the van and they would look into it. Several hours later I called again to see what the status was and I was told then that the manager attempted to call me (I had no missed calls or messages) and that there was pet hair in the vehicle. I would need to come in and clean out the car myself or pay $250 more for a cleaning fee. I just received the bill, the original co tract was for $617.16 but then after they sent me $903.41 (clearly more than $250). Shame on me for accepting a dirty vehicle, and shame on me for not taking photos like I usually do. I won’t be back to this location and I will also rethink my many years long relationship (personal and professional) with Avis for my monthly work rentals.

Once I exchanged the vehicle (which was a hassle) I was supposed to get $140 knocked off the price. However, when I returned the vehicle they figured out ways to add that back into the total with miscellaneous BS fees. Go to Enterprise if you don't want to be screwed over.
