Budget is usually my go-to rental company for business needs - but this location is incredibly unprofessional (and shady!). First, when I arrived on location, there was some random guy hanging out in the lobby, just chatting with the man behind the counter. I waited for five minutes, as they both ignored me. When he finally decided to help me, I was told they "had no record" of my reservation (despite offering the reservation number and email confirmation). The man at the counter insisted I must have booked it last-minute - I offered the reservation number and confirmation again, showing it was reserved it more than ten days prior. He then asked my name, told me that he *did* see me on his list for pickup - then proceeded to argue the details of "my" reservation (dropoff address, etc), telling me I must have booked it incorrectly. I continued to show him the email confirmation including all of the details, and questioned whether he was looking at the correct reservation. He was not - and even called me by a different name. When I checked him, he reversed everything he'd said, and told me he *did* have a record of my reservation, but it wasn't active - it had been cancelled by corporate, and I'd have to book it again. As we were talking, I suddenly received an email cancellation of my reservation. (Not at all suspicious!) He then proceeded to rebook my now-cancelled reservation, insisting that I needed a bunch of extras (at a greater cost, of course). I was told it is "against policy" to pay for a reservation on my business credit card, with an employee listed as the driver (the driver was there with me, and we've both done this many times before). He refused to complete the booking without listing me as a driver (even though I would not be riding in the vehicle). He also insisted that my insurance policy would not be sufficient - so I had to call my insurance broker to have them verify that the policy would cover the rental, in order to avoid excessive charges. He was visibly annoyed that my insurance was sufficient, and made a scene about making other customers wait, while I made the phone call. He then handed me the vehicle inspection form to sign, though I hadn't seen the vehicle. I insisted on inspecting it, and went outside to find a complete wreck. Every single panel of this vehicle is dented or scratched - the trim is ripped off one side, the roof is creased, the bumper was bashed in, and it's filthy. (I snapped a few pics, for reference - but the video I took shows so much damage, it was too long to upload!) If this wasn't for a timed delivery, I'd have simply walked out - but pulling last-minute shenanigans obviously allows them to take advantage of folks stuck without other options. When I questioned the condition of the van, pointing out that there were several others on the lot which were also available, he had the balls to act personally offended. Unfortunately for me, too much time was wasted to do anything but take the wreck I was assigned and send my driver off in a damaged vehicle, of questionable condition. Oh - but he made sure to tell me (in a very condescending tone) that "should I have issues, roadside assistance information is on the back" of my rental agreement.BEWARE THIS LOCATION. GO LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE.For all this hassle - I also ended up paying more than my original reservation. I can't imagine how anyone could give them a good rating - their 5-stars have gotta be fake. This location is straight up ripping people off - I'm just bracing for the false charges I'm sure I'll need to contest, afterwards.

Setup a reservation on my moving day and get a call from their office 10 minutes before pick up and they stated they don't have any trucks in any size. I was already enroute and upon arrival I see in the vicinity 20 to 30 trucks. The woman working at the desk said the vast majority of those vehicles need servicing and only 4 trucks were available. Aside from that the Budget Truck website showed AVAILABILITY for all trucks at the location for the date. I might understand if this 2005, but today having inventory match up with website offerings should be an extremely easy thing for the Budget IT Dept to handle. How supremely unprofessional of Budget on so many levels!

I read the review by Byron William, and my experience was quite the opposite.I recently was moving and in need of a rental truck with a trailer. With my online search, I found Budget to be the most cost effective option. I then created a reservation online. The gentleman that worked at the location called me to inform me that they were closed on the day that I requested to start my reservation. He ensured that I would receive the same rate as the original arrangement (This was very important to me as the days that it was amended to was an increase of over $100, when booked online). The pickup date went seamless. My schedule for packing was even accommodated by them allowing me to pick up the trailer at a later date. Fast forward to when I picked up the trailer, my schedule was erratic. I ended up not being able to come until after the establishment was closed. The gentleman was still over-generously willing to ensure that I was taken care of, even when he didn't have to. I arrived, he was still there, and he helped me with the trailer to make sure everything was in order. He asked me if the shifted return-date would still suffice, and I expressed how I was unsure, until the time came. He told me to let him know, and he would see if there was anything he could do to make the reservation right. Fast forward to when I needed to return the truck and trailer, and I indeed needed to have it up to my original return date -- one day after the amended return date. I contacted the gentleman, and he handled everything to where I did not occur any extra fees from the original estimate. His unwavering dedication to customer service proved commendable enough for me to go out of my way to write a review; something I never really do.

signed the car out 10:25 said return was due back 10:20. Was late they charged 85.00 plus the insurance for the whole day that i purchased for one day. The toll crossing they charge 13.00 on a 6.00 dollar toll fee. Look for other rental places that have more flexibility when it come to returning the car late less than an hour. When inflation hits these companies become ridiculous and unethical.

The operators of this budget used my credit card for unauthorized transaction causing a fiasco that lasted more than a week for me to get reimbursed. It was 2 Indian gentleman that did this to me. They also rented me a vehicle that couldn't be driven at night because it's headlights were adjusted to straight up in the air. No walk around and a half tank of fuel. Currently there is an ongoing investigation due to the extra charges on my credit card. I hope they get charged with crimes and lose their job. Be aware. Reviews are from the people that work there.
