I've rented from this location 3 times in the past year to travel cross-country, but my current rental situation has been horrible!First of all.. the car has visible hail damage, including on the windshield. The cracks in the glass have been spreading over the past week, likely due to high temperatures. It's been beyond uncomfortable driving this vehicle, fearing the windshield will shatter. Why would you rent a vehicle to someone traveling cross-country that has cracks already in the windshield??Secondly, there's been an awful smell that got worse every time we got back in the car... and I bought so much air freshener and odor absorbers only to realize there was old food under the seats!!!!!!! Stains on the seats. You all never cleaned the inside of the vehicle before renting it to me!! The last customer's receipt is still in the car, and they returned it just before I arrived to rent. I spent almost $800 on this rental and wasn't given the quality I deserved. I've been a loyal customer. Never again!!The oil light came on the 2nd day into my rental.The seats smelled like cat pee. The floors had cat hair.Update to add:When I dropped off the vehicle, the agent was rude and accused me of damaging the windshield that was already documented as hail damage. When I informed him of the mishaps I encountered, he got mad and defensive. Told me if I felt this way about his vehicles not to come to this location anymore. Asked why I came to this location is his service was bad. THEN I get an email from budget charging ME for the damages that were existing since before I rented the vehicle!!

His attitude was so bad that my daughter wanted to walk out of that office and kept telling me to go pick up our rental at somewhere else. He should not be in service at all!

It is quite disheartening to receive such a neglected vehicle, especially considering the reputation of this rental company. I encountered multiple issues that made my rental experience nothing short of a nightmare.The interior of the vehicle emitted a potent smell of smoke and urine that was impossible to ignore. The seats and carpet were heavily spotted and stained, indicating a complete lack of cleanliness and hygiene standards. It is utterly revolting to have to endure such an unpleasant odor and unsanitary conditions during my rental period.The exterior sliding door foot step was broken, which not only made it inconvenient to enter and exit the van but also caused a dangerous situation. In fact, my son slipped and fell while trying to get into the vehicle. This is a clear indication of the negligence on the part of Budget Rental in ensuring the safety of their customers.Another noticeable issue was the missing cup holder encasement on the second row seating. It may seem like a minor inconvenience, but when you're on a long trip and need a place to securely hold your beverage, it becomes a major inconvenience.Lastly, the interior panel covering closest to the door closure was literally falling from the ceiling. This not only added to the overall shabby appearance of the vehicle but also made me question the safety of driving it. It is concerning that Budget Rental would allow a vehicle with such obvious structural issues to be rented out.It is clear that they have failed to prioritize the maintenance and upkeep of their vehicles, which is absolutely inexcusable. Jun 12, 2023 · Jasmine HicksTerrible Experience!!I made reservations for an economy car for a week. The total amount was deducted from my bank card. I took an Uber to this location for pickup. Once there an employee name "Eddie" assisted me. To begin with, he rudely asked for two forms of ID which i kindly provided. he preceded with a nasty tone informing me of a required credit check which i was totally unaware of. And when i question the reason, he responded in an extremely rude tone referring me to the website. Needless to say, he indicated that i did not pass the credit check which i didn't understand. When i ask "Eddie" to call customer services, he flat out refused, saying that i have to do it on my own time, Not on his. And when i asked him to cancel the reservation and credit my card back for the full amount, he said that there was nothing he could do. He went on to say that the refund wouldn't happen for several days and that there might be a $50 dollar cancellation fee. I called several times and when i finally got in touch with customer service i was told that it would take 3-4 business days before the refund. This was Friday and i needed a car for the weekend, but because my money was tied up for the next 3-4 days i couldn't go to a different car company.Due To Extremely Bad Customer Service & Policies...I Do Not Recommend This Rental Company!!
