Stay away from this location. If I could give zero stars I would. Booked a reservation on Expedia for 6 days because my personal vehicle needed a repair. The latest drop off time available was 6pm. When I picked up the vehicle I explained I don’t get off work until 6pm and have two small children so I would need to drop off when I got off so I had someone to pick us up. The attendant said that wouldn’t be a problem. The first day I had the vehicle, the change oil light came on. I immediately called and asked for a different vehicle, and was told they didn’t have any and the maintenance notification was set to go off ahead of service so basically I’d just have to deal the the notification for the next week. Pesky and inconvenient since it popped up every 5 minutes while driving, but okay. I dropped the car off as soon as I got off, so the keys were in the drop box by 630 as discussed. I get the final receipt and they charged me an extra $60. They billed me for an extra day, plus a $20 late fee. I just got off the phone after calling to get an explanation of the excess fees, and the person at the location was rude, argumentative, and talked over me while I was speaking. At a bare minimum they should’ve waived the fee as a courtesy considering they weren’t able to provide a different vehicle for the maintenance light. They also never mentioned any additional fees when I asked about a late drop off, otherwise I would’ve requested off early that day and made other arrangements. It’s really sad the lack of consideration, customer service, and plain decency given the current economic climate. Very disappointing and I won’t ever use Budget again.

I booked a truck rental online several days before I needed the vehicle. A day later they sent me an email asking about my personal insurance. There was no mention that there might be an issue with my rental. When I went to pick up the vehicle they said the moving truck I had reserved wasn’t available and that corporate should have called me 2 days before and directed me to call the 800 number. Corporate said I could have a truck I just had to drive 40 minutes away. This is the worst company I have ever worked with. U-Haul got me a truck as soon as I walked in.

I recently had a very disappointing experience with Budget Car Rental, and I feel compelled to share it. I booked a car in advance, and everything seemed to be in order until I arrived to pick up the vehicle.After charging me the full amount for the rental, including the deposit, they suddenly informed me that they couldn’t process the rental because I had used a debit card instead of a credit card. This was incredibly frustrating, especially since they didn’t mention this requirement beforehand, and other car rental companies have never required a credit card for me.Despite already taking my money, they refused to let me proceed with the rental unless I provided a credit card, which I didn’t have with me. When I asked for a refund, they simply told me to call customer service and said there was nothing they could do on the spot.So, not only did they charge me, but they also wasted my time, leaving me without a car. I ended up going to another car rental company, which had no issues with accepting my debit card and provided quick, efficient service—completely unlike the experience I had with Budget.In the end, I was left feeling frustrated, inconvenienced, and disappointed by Budget’s lack of transparency and poor customer service. I definitely won’t be using their services again.

We just landed a half hour ago. We went to pick up our rental. The service was great at the desk until we picked up our car #51819471 Hayes. It was filthy on the outside. My husband went back to the fast pass desk and they told him we would have to go back upstairs stand in line and request a clean car. Seriously !! We’ve never ever received such a filthy car. The inside stunk. Come on guys you can do better than this. Very disappointed. I may not be using Budget again.

Never do business with this group! You will never be able to get a live body that understands you if they answer! Never take a vehicle that is not on full! The gas light popped up when I got down the road 11 miles to empty. They said just bring it back like that? Who and how do you plan to bring a unit back 12 gallons to empty? That’s foolish to try!! I will never rent through Budget again in my life!
