We rented a car with Carsan for 2 days and it was so simple, we booked online, got there, they only took a picture of my license and off we went. We had an amazing time with the car (their selection of cars is amazing), which made things way easier here in LA. When returning, we just parked the car, handed the key over and left, very straightforward and not a lot of paperwork.

So originally, I bought a few cars to rent out on Turo, thinking it’d be a great way to make passive income. Yeah… turns out, “passive” wasn’t exactly the right word. Between guest check-ins, cleaning, maintenance, and last-minute requests, it started feeling like a full-time job. I figured I’d test it out with one car first, just to see if it was legit. And man, after a couple of weeks, I was sold. No more dealing with back-to-back bookings, no more stress. So I handed over the rest of my cars, and now I actually get to enjoy my time instead of running around like a valet service.Yeah, the earnings are slightly lower than what I was making on Turo since Carsan takes a management fee, but honestly? Worth every penny. My cars cover their payments, I still make a solid profit, and best of all—I don’t have to do anything. If you’re tired of the daily grind of hosting, trust me, this is the move.

I rented a an SUV through them via Turo. They charged me $300 for a bumper scratch which I was adamant we did not do. I stupidly paid it since Turo sided with them as I didn’t have a good photo of the low bumper prior.They then fraudulently tried to charge me about 4,000$ for an entire bumper & headlight repair as a “supplement” 2 months later!I reported this fraud to BBB and FTC as it was totally ridiculous. I thought it had gone away. Now Turo has contacted my car insurance and is still pursuing me 2 years later.This has been nothing but a nightmare for me and I feel so frustrated. I would NEVER use Carsan in a million years and I am surprised they have good reviews. Look on Better business bureau and elsewhere many people complain of their shady practices.Just rent from a regular rentalCompany they don’t try to fraud you and charge you thousand of dollars for fake repairs. I will even attach a photo for you of what they claim I did and that is 4K of repairs. Fraud.
