★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Fiery time using Dollar and no issues. They do have an electronic service where you take pictures of the car which is highly recommended before taking off to anotate any deficiencies with body, paint, glass or accessories. My issue was on the paint but you submit that on the link they sent you and photos no issues upon returning of the vehicle. You do this prior to leaving if you do it after you are saying there are no issues and you may get charged for scratches or damage to the vehicle.
May 30, 2025 · Mr Ofor starters the car smelled so bad, like dog and mold. there are stains on the seats. we went to the rental place in colorado springs airport and the customer service was awful. we got an email saying we would be charged $77 and needed to be on a credit card. it did not state why we were being charged it but we went ahead and paid $100 on our credit card to prepare for the charge. when we got to the rental car place she said we were being $383 total (we already paid 137) NOT including damage coverage. i explained we only paid 100 on our credit card because that’s all it stated and the lady had a big attitude and said “if you would have looked at our policy you would have seen it said you will be charged additional fees”. DO NOT rent from here. i included pictures of the stains and the disgusting window
Jan 07, 2024 · Riley YangI rented out a Mitsubishi Galaxy from this branch at the Colorado Springs Airport Branch. When I returned it, I had no directions whatsoever on returning this vehicle. I am and still highly confident that I returned it clean and in great condition. When I was at the airport, this company stuck me with a bill for damages to the vehicle that I never thought I made. For one, I have a clean record as a driver and a renter and had no reports of a hit and run.It feels to me that there is some weird collusion happening between the collision place and this rental company. My distrust in this situation is highly disturbing. I’ve never had a problem today until now.The worst part is, as much as I’d like to give a piece of my mind to their actual branch, their options are automated and if I force a conversation to the operator, I am dismissed with an automated goodbye.I signed off on their link that it wasn’t my fault. But if you are renting from this company…I WOULD RECORD THE STATE OF YOUR CAR BEFORE YOU GO HOME.I reviewed the worst reviews for this company and it’s happened more than once.Be aware.
May 22, 2025 · Dan CastroDo not recommend. Can’t get ahold of anyone via email or phone to help me with my payments that don’t make sense. I was originally charged over 500$ when I booked the car. But when I finally picked up the car I was quoted an additional 500$. They charged my card the money as well as 2 addiction charges of 150$ that they declined on there end. The lady at the rental car place did not explain the charges as well as did not give me a Complete price until I had left with multiple receipts . She was very secretive kept trying to up charge me and add on additional fees with no explanation to why as well as was not kind to deal with. Then when I dropped off the car they sent me a receipt for a balance of 500 $ but they charged my card 650$. The emailed receipt also shows 2 other quotes I was given. My bill is not clear and I don’t understand why they changed my charges 3 times.
Mar 22, 2025 · Hanna SeidenfussMajor Ripoff at the Check Out Counter.I filled out the Dollar Rental Car Check In process prior to picking up my rental. I declined all of the high priced insurance coverage offered by Dollar since I have purchased insurance through Priceline and have my own insurance.I was charged for everything Dollar Rental Car could charge me with and when I noticed the the high priced charges on the receipt I called Dollar and told them about this costly mishap he stated that’s my problem not his because I booked with Price to rent their car.I’ve contacted Priceline and my credit card company to file a dispute over this. I already paid Priceline $390+ for the rental car and Dollar charged me $421+ in addition to the Priceline price. The line getting the car was long since only one person ran both Dollar and Hertz at the counter. I told the guy that finally came out from the back to the counter that I DID NOT need any of the Insurance coverage offered by Dollar and that I already did the Dollar Check in.Now I have to deal with getting my money back from the over charge. Hopefully that can happen. The compact SUV was actually great but it was worth the price Dollar Rentacar charged me.
