Had a super fun time with the gentlemen who helped us Julius!! (My son is a character.. and he likes to tease and joke when tentions are high!!) This employee was right on track with him! Everything my son dished out... he didn't flinch for a second with a comeback!! It truly was a fun time!! Had an older couple in there that enjoyed the antics of their teasing!!

I booked a package through Priceline, who gave me a rental vehicle from Esirent in Jacksonville 5/28-6/1.I noticed a vibration when I first got on the interstate, but I know newer cars have lane sensors and since this car has under 10k miles, I assumed that was the vibration. I drove this car to Daytona and around Daytona with my daughter and granddaughter in the car. I had to head back to Jax to catch my flight, and the vibration felt stronger, so I pulled over and looked around. The rubber was worn to the point that the cords on the front driver's side were coming out of the tire on the inside, and the passenger side was worn down to secondary rubber that it was starting to peel. I called Esirent who told me to call Nissan Roadside. Nissan told me they would come put the doughnut on to get me to the nearest dealership. Nissan said no more the 60mph/50 miles on the doughnut. Explained it was a rental, and I had a flight to catch. Told me to call Esirent back. Esirent told me to DRIVE 105 miles ON THE DOUGHNUT because the car HAD to be returned there. I was in full blown panic at this point, so I called AAA and used my insurance and cash to get the car and myself back to JAX. There I was told I declined the waiver on tires, so it and the tow were my responsibility. Even the tow truck driver said the car would not have made it back to JAX without blowing.They literally told me they did a walk around with me before I left, and I accepted the car. The outside of the tires looked fine, the inside was not. When a consumer rents a vehicle, you do it under the trust and assumption that the vehicle you are paying for is safe. Pictures are attached.When I got there with the wrecker, I had to go in to find out where they wanted the car put and they told me I need to wait my turn in line. When I reiterated that the car I had to have towed back was on a rollback and the driver needed to know where to put it, She finally came out and directed me where to put it,walking out I was told I needed to watch my tone. She would not give me her name. Then manager (?) Brian came out. He immediately pulled up my rental agreement and told me that since I declined one of the many coverages they tried to push on me, it was all my responsibility.Esirent DID NOT CARE that the car was a death trap due to their neglect, DID NOT CARE that I paid out of pocket to get it back, DID NOT CARE that they risked my life, my family's lives, or the people I could have hit in the process of a blowout. They DID NOT CARE I was basically stranded, that I had a flight to catch to get back home, or that I was having a panic attack from the whole thing. I am on medications for blood pressure and anxiety and was in full blown panic when their only option was to return over 100 miles on a doughnut. My ONLY saving grace was that I had AAA.

It's been over 2 weeks.NO RESPONSE WHAT SO EVER.Update: I just realized I was charged the extra cleaning fee of $250 on the day I rented the car, not the day I returned the car. So from the very moment I walked into the rental office with my service animal, I was charged the additional cleaning fee, a violation of Federal ADA law and multiple Florida laws.This place is definitely running a scam and does not follow ADA laws. For the past 9 years, I've traveled with a well-trained, very obedient 9-year-old service animal which I brush twice daily. Reading prior reviews, reviewers often complain of Easirent's horrible business practices; however, I chose to give them a try.On May 12th, the person came to the car being returned and began yelling just minutes before the airport shuttle left. This return process had taken almost an hour, then suddenly, just minutes before my flight, he loudly announced he had found dog hair on the carpet. When I asked where it was found, they showed me a car mat with hardly any fur, see the pictures. They charged me a $250 cleaning fee for a $409 rental at the time I rented the car, not upon return!Yes, on one floor area, the driver floorboard, there was a little sand and the slightest amount of fur. Any remaining sand or fur was on the floor mats. As I was boarding the airport shuttle, they told me I would be charged $250 to detail the entire car. I feel this removal and wiping down the floor mats should be done between renters anyway, right? If anything, it would add 3 to 5 minutes using a damp sponge to wipe the mat. From the very beginning (a nightmare 3-hour rental process with a prior booking.com reservation), they began violating ADA law, which I've since reported to the Department of Justice.

There is a shuttle that will pick you up at the airport and bring you to the company, but it only runs every 30 minutes (if it’s on time). When we got there, there was a line out the door that moved at a snail’s pace. 60 minutes later we were finally at the counter where we were told that we were “very lucky” because we will be getting the very last available car (it was 2pm and there was a line behind us), and that everyone else that comes in after us will be “out of luck”.Another 30 minutes after this we are finally told that our car was ready but to not mind that it’s “pretty dirty”. He said something along the lines of “I tried cleaning it the best I could, but it’s still pretty dirty”. When we got to the car, we were relieved to see that it really wasn’t that dirty, other than the fact that there was some sort of substance all over the windshield that had dried and made it difficult to see (see pic). Then about 90 minutes after we drove off a lot we received a phone call from the same employee who asked us which car we were in because he “couldn’t remember” which one he gave us.All in all, I would never rent from this company again, and I will definitely be doing my research anytime I rent a car from now on. Cheaper is definitely not better, and we were reminded of that the hard way. Go literally anywhere else.
