At the Bass Pro location, Conan (spelling?) has helped me most often recently and is consistently an absolute pleasure to work with under various circumstances. I have witnessed him also interact with other customers under stress, and one difficult customer, and he maintained his professionalism and collected demeanor. He is knowledgeable, quick/efficient, thorough, poised, trustworthy, and helpful. I called a week before to schedule my rental and was given the option for a full-size SUV and agreed to pay a higher rate. Then, when the afternoon before I was to be picked up, I was called by Conan the manager and he indicated they didn't have any full-sized options. He said for me to take the smaller car and call him the next day and he would bring a full-sized option to my work. I called the next day. Conan wasn't there and the manager on duty was rude, condescending and refused to give me his name so that I could report him to corporate. After, asking him for the third time for his name he just hung up on me. Now, he refuses to answer the phone at the location. What a joke! This individual should be fired.

Thank you!While the customer service was good, the car I was given was awful. It had a musty odor, a whole in the floor on the drivers side, and drove terribly. It must have been at least 7 years old. I asked for a different, newer vehicle and he told me they didn’t have anything in the category I booked (mid-sized SUV) but I could check at the airport. The location at the airport didn’t have any available SUVs either. I ended up returning the vehicle and going to another company. I travel often for work and rent cars all the time. Worst car I’ve ever been given. Seriously, it’s like someone’s personal old car was available so they offered it. I hope they provide me a refund for this as I has the car less than an hour.

My car is not keyless so that was a huge help for me. Not many people are that helpful. Knowing not all cars are keyless is a huge help for customers like me. Hopefully more employees will be like him. It make renting a car so much comfortable and easy for customers.
