Enterprise Rent-A-Car Introduce
For many residents across Georgia, particularly those in the Stockbridge area, having access to a reliable car rental service is a crucial aspect of personal and business mobility. Enterprise Rent-A-Car, a well-known name in the rental industry, has a local branch at 7407 Davidson Cir W in Stockbridge, aiming to cater to the community's diverse transportation needs. Unlike major airport hubs, this location is designed to serve neighborhood customers who require a temporary vehicle for various reasons, from personal errands to business travel or even extended periods during vehicle repairs.
Enterprise generally offers a wide array of vehicle classes, from economical sedans to larger SUVs and minivans, aiming to provide options for almost any need. For Georgians living in Stockbridge and surrounding areas, a local Enterprise office can be a convenient solution when unexpected vehicle needs arise or for planned trips where an additional car is necessary.
However, it is vital for prospective renters to be fully informed about the complete spectrum of customer experiences, as the provided reviews for Enterprise highlight significant concerns regarding vehicle maintenance, customer service, and problem resolution. One customer detailed a harrowing experience with a broken-down minivan while traveling to Atlanta from Florida. Despite reaching an Enterprise location that was just six minutes away, the staff allegedly displayed a severe "lack of attention, professionalism, and willingness to help." They reportedly advised the customer to "go buy fluid for the car" despite the electronically operated steering, and later suggested driving the severely damaged vehicle to the airport, putting the family "at risk." This customer also claimed the branch denied having suitable replacement vehicles despite seeing similar minivans in the lot, and that a tow truck never arrived as promised, leading to a nine-hour ordeal. The customer, a "priority customer" and "platinum member" who spends considerable money with Enterprise, expressed extreme disappointment, feeling their family was put in danger and highlighting a severe organizational failure.
Another review echoed these frustrations, advising others to "Do not rent here!" This customer reported "horrible" service, including an "hour wait time even if you have a reservation," cars with "high mileage" and "maintenance lights on," and a management team that "could care less about the customers." This reviewer, also a "platinum member" who has spent $10,000 in 2025 alone, specifically called out the Area Rental Manager, Cole, for "poor leadership" and a branch "lack of capability." They described being offered a downgrade to a smaller car despite reserving a full-size vehicle and, alarmingly, being given a car "without a working passenger seatbelt," which they noted is illegal and an extreme safety hazard. This customer, who previously worked at Enterprise, expressed their intent to have Avis removed as a preferred rental company at their contracting firm due to this "worst customer service I have ever seen at any Enterprise Nationwide or any other car company."
These detailed accounts of negative experiences are crucial for any local considering this Enterprise location. While the brand typically aims for high standards, these specific reviews indicate significant inconsistencies that prospective renters should be aware of. This article will further explore the location's accessibility, the general services Enterprise offers, and provide direct contact information, encouraging readers to exercise caution and diligence when renting.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car is located at 7407 Davidson Cir W, Stockbridge, GA 30281, USA. This address places the branch within the city of Stockbridge, a key area in Henry County, Georgia. It operates as a local, neighborhood branch, catering to the needs of residents and businesses in Stockbridge and the surrounding communities, as opposed to being primarily focused on airport travelers.
Davidson Circle West is typically found within commercial or industrial parks, offering relatively easy vehicle access and parking. For residents of Stockbridge, McDonough, Ellenwood, and other nearby areas in Henry and Clayton Counties, reaching this Enterprise location is generally straightforward via local roads and suburban thoroughfares. It is situated within the broader Atlanta metropolitan area, benefiting from connectivity to major interstates such as I-75 and I-675, which facilitate travel from different parts of Georgia.
While not directly at an airport, the Stockbridge location is within a reasonable driving distance of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), approximately 30-45 minutes depending on traffic conditions. This makes it a potential option for airport travelers seeking to rent a car outside the immediate airport complex, potentially for different rates or specific vehicle availability, though it would require independent transportation to the branch.
The operating hours for this specific Enterprise branch are Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Saturday: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM, and Sunday: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM. These hours are typical for a non-airport rental location, accommodating weekday business and weekend leisure rentals. The branch also offers an "After-Hours Return" option, allowing customers to park and lock the vehicle, placing keys in a drop box to the right of the front doors. Responsibility for the vehicle ends once an employee inspects it the next business day. This feature offers flexibility for returns outside of standard operating hours.
Overall, the Enterprise Rent-A-Car on Davidson Circle West in Stockbridge is positioned as an accessible and convenient local choice for residents in need of car rental services within the southern arc of the Atlanta metropolitan area.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car, as a prominent global rental provider, generally offers a comprehensive suite of services designed to meet diverse customer needs. The Stockbridge location on Davidson Circle West provides many of these standard offerings, tailored for a local, non-airport branch.
The primary services offered by Enterprise Rent-A-Car typically include:
- Extensive Vehicle Fleet: Enterprise is known for its wide selection of vehicles across various classes. This usually includes:
- Economy, Compact, Mid-size, and Full-size Sedans: For daily commuting, personal trips, and business travel.
- SUVs (Standard, Full-Size, Premium): Ideal for families, groups, or those needing more cargo capacity and versatility.
- Minivans and Passenger Vans: Designed for larger families or groups requiring significant seating capacity (e.g., Chrysler Pacifica, as mentioned in a review).
- Pickup Trucks and Cargo Vans: Available for moving needs, hauling, or commercial use.
- Luxury and Specialty Vehicles: While reviews mention issues with upgrades, Enterprise generally has options for more premium or specific vehicle types.
- Short-Term Rentals: Daily, weekend, and weekly rental options are standard, catering to temporary transportation needs for various durations.
- Long-Term and Monthly Rentals: Enterprise provides solutions for extended rental periods, which can be useful for individuals requiring a vehicle for a month or longer, for instance, during prolonged vehicle repairs or temporary work assignments.
- One-Way Rentals: Customers can typically pick up a vehicle at the Stockbridge location and return it to another Enterprise branch, either within Georgia or in a different state, offering flexibility for varied travel plans.
- Additional Equipment and Protections: Options often include GPS navigation systems, child safety seats (infant, toddler, booster), Roadside Assistance Protection (RAP), and various damage waiver (DW) and personal effects coverage (PEC) options for added peace of mind (at additional daily charges).
- Refueling Options: Customers usually have choices regarding fuel, such as returning the car with a full tank, purchasing a full tank upfront (Prepay Fuel), or having Enterprise refuel the vehicle upon return for a fee.
- Enterprise Plus Loyalty Program: This program rewards frequent renters with benefits such as faster reservations, free upgrades, and earning points for free rental days.
- Corporate Account Services: Enterprise offers tailored programs for businesses, providing preferred rates and streamlined management tools for company travel and fleet solutions.
- After-Hours Return: The Stockbridge branch specifically notes the availability of an after-hours return service with a key drop box, adding flexibility for customers.
It is crucial for customers to confirm specific vehicle availability and to thoroughly review all rental policies, terms, and conditions, especially concerning vehicle condition, additional charges, and resolution procedures for mechanical issues, given the severe negative customer experiences reported.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Stockbridge, GA, particularly at the 7407 Davidson Cir W location, possesses certain features that might typically be considered highlights for a rental agency. However, it is essential to present these alongside the critical customer feedback, which points to significant issues in the actual delivery of these features.
Here are some of the reported features and what they aim to offer, contrasted with customer experiences:
- Convenient Neighborhood Access: The branch's location in Stockbridge is a highlight for local residents, providing easy access to rental vehicles without the need to travel to a major airport. Its fixed hours and after-hours return option aim to provide flexibility for community-based rental needs.
- Broad Fleet Availability: Enterprise generally offers a diverse range of vehicle types, from small sedans to large minivans and SUVs. This is intended to allow customers to find a vehicle suitable for their specific group size, luggage needs, or travel purpose. However, customer reviews indicate issues with promised vehicle classes not being available or inappropriate downgrades being offered.
- Global Brand Network and Support: As part of a large national and international company, Enterprise typically offers the benefit of a wide network for one-way rentals and a centralized customer service system for support. However, reviews highlight a disconnect between central customer service and local branch willingness to assist, with a customer needing to escalate an issue to get resolution.
- Loyalty Programs (Enterprise Plus): For frequent renters, programs like Enterprise Plus are designed to offer expedited service, potential upgrades, and rewards, aiming to enhance the rental experience and build loyalty. Yet, even Platinum members, who are highly valued customers, have reported extremely poor service, including long wait times, unmet reservations, and disregard for their status.
- Commitment to Vehicle Maintenance (Aimed For): Enterprise's brand reputation is built on providing well-maintained vehicles. However, directly contradictory customer experiences at this location report vehicles with "high mileage," "maintenance lights on," and even critical safety issues like a "non-working passenger seatbelt" and a breakdown due to damaged steering.
- Customer Service and Problem Resolution (Aimed For): While Enterprise aims to provide professional customer service and resolve issues efficiently, the severe negative reviews suggest a profound lack of "attention, professionalism, and willingness to help" from local staff and management when faced with a critical vehicle breakdown. This includes reluctance to provide assistance, offer suitable alternatives, or even identify themselves.
In summary, while Enterprise provides the structure and offerings of a major car rental company, the critical customer reviews for this specific Stockbridge location reveal significant discrepancies in the delivery of these services, particularly concerning vehicle quality, safety, and customer support when issues arise. Potential renters should proceed with heightened caution and thorough inspection.
For individuals in Georgia who need to contact Enterprise Rent-A-Car at their Stockbridge location, here is their direct contact information:
Address: 7407 Davidson Cir W, Stockbridge, GA 30281, USA
Phone: (770) 507-2227
Mobile Phone: +1 770-507-2227
It is strongly recommended that prospective customers use these contact details to inquire about vehicle availability, specific rental terms, and to clarify any concerns they might have, especially in light of the critical customer feedback regarding this branch. Direct communication before making a reservation or picking up a vehicle can help manage expectations and potentially address issues upfront.
For residents across Georgia, particularly those in Stockbridge and the surrounding communities within Henry County, Enterprise Rent-A-Car at 7407 Davidson Cir W offers a physically accessible option for car rental needs. Its location as a neighborhood branch provides convenience, allowing locals to pick up and drop off vehicles without the need to travel to the busier airport-based rental centers. This can be a significant advantage for those needing a temporary vehicle for local errands, work commutes, or family trips within the immediate area.
The standard array of vehicles typically offered by Enterprise, ranging from compact cars to minivans and SUVs, aims to provide solutions for various local requirements, whether it's a small car for individual use or a larger vehicle for group travel. The option for after-hours returns also adds a layer of flexibility, which can be convenient for customers with schedules that extend beyond typical business hours.
However, while the geographical convenience and the general breadth of Enterprise's services are present, it is imperative for locals to approach this particular location with heightened awareness. The extremely critical customer reviews detailing severe issues with vehicle maintenance (including safety defects like non-working seatbelts and mechanical breakdowns), prolonged wait times, and a perceived lack of professionalism and willingness to assist from staff and management, paint a concerning picture. These experiences suggest that while the branch is physically convenient, the quality of the rental experience and customer support, especially when problems arise, may fall far short of expectations, even for loyal, high-spending customers.
Therefore, while this Enterprise location in Stockbridge is suitable for locals in terms of its accessibility and potential range of vehicles, it is strongly advised that any local considering a rental here exercise extreme caution. Thoroughly inspecting the vehicle for any issues (cleanliness, mechanical, safety) before leaving the lot, meticulously reviewing all charges, and being prepared to escalate issues to corporate customer service if local resolution is not achieved, are crucial steps to mitigate potential negative experiences. For many locals, the convenience of a nearby option might be outweighed by the reported risks, making diligence paramount.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1On Wednesday, the 21st, I rented a Chrysler Pacifica minivan for a family trip from an Enterprise location in Florida, where I reside, with the destination being Atlanta. About an hour before reaching my destination, the vehicle broke down — the steering wheel became extremely stiff and difficult to move.Fortunately, there was an Enterprise location just 6 minutes away, and I managed to drive there with great effort, thinking they would assist me or offer a solution. However, when I explained the situation, one of the employees told me to "go buy fluid for the car at the nearby Walmart," without realizing that the vehicle’s steering system is electronically operated. How was I supposed to add fluid to a vehicle without any mechanical knowledge, and especially when it might not even use fluid for the steering?Another employee told me that, “just as I got there, I should go to the airport to exchange the vehicle,” putting my life and my family’s at risk, considering the steering was completely damaged and could have caused an accident. They also suggested giving me a small car, even though they knew we were a group of 7 people and wouldn't fit. They claimed all vehicles were rented, but I clearly saw at least two similar minivans in the parking lot. I can understand if they were reserved, but what I cannot understand is the lack of attention, professionalism, and willingness to help.My family and I were left for hours in the parking lot with no real assistance. I even called them so they could verify that the steering wheel wasn’t functioning, but they showed no interest. If it hadn’t been for my wife calling customer service to escalate the issue, we would still have been stranded. Eventually, they told us a tow truck would come — which never arrived on time. First, they said 70 minutes, then 23 minutes, then 25 minutes. To make a long story short, they ended up sending us an Uber to the airport, and I didn’t get another vehicle until 10 PM — all of this started at 2 PM.I can't understand how such a large company can be so disorganized and fail to provide timely solutions. We lost an entire day at the Enterprise airport parking lot. My family and children were full of uncertainty. I can’t imagine what would have happened if we had broken down on the highway instead. Even then, the tow truck only arrived at the airport around 9 PM.One of my greatest disappointments was that despite reaching an Enterprise location, no one was willing to help or take initiative. It is crucial to have staff capable of resolving issues and providing customer solutions. They didn’t even want to identify themselves, although I did manage to collect some business cards with names. On top of that, we were priority customers — the vehicle was fully paid for, including insurance, costing nearly $1,000 for a terrible experience and service.I still can't believe how these people almost put my family and me in danger. All this happened on May 22th.. starting around 2pm
May 26, 2025 · orlando valeDo not rent here! They are horrible, it is an hour wait time even if you have a reservation. The cars are high mileage, rented with maintenance lights on, and the management team could care less about the customers. The worst customer service I have ever seen at any enterprise Nationwide or any other car company. The Area Rental Manager Cole has poor leadership and it shows in his branches lack of capability. I have now asked to speak to the RVP twice and have not received a call and I am a platinum member who rents for work and have spent $10k in 2025 alone! They also gave me a car without a working passenger seatbelt and only offered to downgrade me to an intermediate/compact car although I reserved a full size. Also renting a car without operable seatbelts is illegal I would know I used to work at enterprise
Jun 12, 2025 · Brittney Lane$177 for two days plus an additional $300 deposit for this peace of junk! Missing a hubcap, awful smell, dents, scraps and dangs all over the car. Even a very weird stain in the trunk (god knows what it is). We reserved this car online and had to take it due to urgency in time thus not having time to wait on another car. Customer service was great but I would be embarrassed to offer this to my customers!!! No wonder they don’t have enterprise license plates anymore. I wouldn’t advertise that I rented out these type of cars either. These are just a very few of the pictures I have. Too many issues to post.Update_ called the head quarters customer service the day of to complain and was told I would get a call back from “ Complaint department”. 2 days later- nothing. But on the plus side. My company and I now have a long standing joke on the time I rented a crack car from enterprise!!When I went back to return the car, the manager was very understanding of how upset I was and did refund $50.
Nov 05, 2024 · Lost CauseWe made a reservation online. When we got there to pick up the car, we did have to wait about 20 or so minutes, and there were 2 people ahead of us. The customer service was awesome, the vehicle was perfect for our mountainous terrain trip to Tennessee, and the return process was a breeze.
