★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1My husband called to make a reservation, we got the reservation number and all. When he got there, he was treated horribly. He gave the lady at the front desk his reservation number and name. She got really rude and told him, “We ain’t got no cars.” He explained he already spoke with someone about this location and they had one for him waiting. She continued her rude behavior and even said, “No one is going to pick you up or help you, I said we ain’t got no cars.” He was pretty irritated at this point and called other locations until he found one that would pick him up and they did. Even though she said that they wouldn’t. Using Enterprise before, we knew that they would pick you up if you needed a ride there. I am blown away by this woman’s horrible attitude and treatment of my husband who always goes out of his way to be understanding. Our truck engine just blew and I am pregnant and due in TWO WEEKS. This woman’s behavior made our situation so much more stressful and I am seriously pissed. There was no reason for her to be this way and I am disgusted and have never been treated this horrible by Enterprise. She is making this company look very bad and I am shocked she even has a job. I would love to talk to someone about this and would appreciate anyone I can contact about this incident. I have the date, time and confirmation number I can provide. I don’t know her name but she was a large black woman with the worst attitude I have ever come across.
Jul 09, 2025 · A WI was rear ended and my Nissan Rogue was in the shop for two weeks. My insurance asked if I preferred Hertz or Enterprise. I checked the comments and reviews and selected Enterprise. This one on Mich Ave is close to my home. The staff are friendly. They picked me up from the dealership where my car was being repaired and dropped me off to pick up my vehicle when it was done. I filled up the tank before returning the rental and also took it in for a quick $5 wash down the street. They did a quick walk around the vehicle and said it looked great. No nitpicking and no fuss.
Jun 20, 2025 · Mae GosaynieWe’ve typically had positive experiences with Enterprise, but our most recent rental was disappointing. During that trip, we chose to upgrade our vehicle. When we got in, there was a very strong cologne scent. We assumed it would fade, so we proceeded with the rental. However, upon arriving at our destination and opening the vehicle more fully to unload luggage at our friends’ home, we realized the cologne had only masked a much stronger odor of marijuana. This was quite embarrassing, and as a result, we felt uncomfortable using the vehicle to take our friends out, which impacted our plans. We had the car for five days and, over time, became desensitized to the smell—only to fully realize the issue once we were already using the car. When we returned the vehicle, we spoke with the manager on duty. He came out, opened the door, and immediately noticed the smell. He apologized and assured us that the next time we rented, he would provide a free upgrade to make up for the experience. However, when we recently called to make a reservation, we were told that the manager had been transferred to another location 40 minutes away and that the promised upgrade could not be honored. We also contacted the Enterprise 1-800 number but were told they couldn't help either. We are very disappointed in how this situation was handled—both in the condition of the vehicle and the lack of follow-through on a promise made by your staff. We would appreciate it if someone could follow up and help resolve this properly.Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Jun 01, 2025 · NancyI travel to Detroit often, WHENEVER I can’t get a reservation through the airport, I dread that this is the closest location. This isn’t the first negative experience, but today I finally decided to speak up. I booked a reservation for 6pm, had some issues with a flight delay, called the representative around 5:45pm to let her know I was on the way, just to meet them at 6:01pm at the door as they were walking out. “We’re closed can’t help you, I’ve been here since 7am” When I pleaded my case as my uber waited I was told “we can’t because the computers shut down”. I wish the 2minutes to get me in a prepaid reservation wasn’t such an inconvenience.
Jun 16, 2025 · Jackson Davis IIII made a reservation through National at the airport and they said they didn't have any cars available. The support line suggested I try an Enterprise location nearby and I made the reservation. The day before I was supposed to pick the car up I received a call from someone stating there were no cars available there either. They suggested I call a toll free number which I did. They said they see the reservation and suggested I check in online. I did so and received a contract number. I went to the location and the manager was rude and stated she called me yesterday and told me not to come because they didn't have a car. I explained I followed her directions and called the toll free number and did what they told me to do and her response was I should have listened to the person at the location. Then I called customer service again and they said a supervisor would call me back when they locate a car in three or four hours, while they expected me to wait at the location. Terrible service. While waiting for an Uber I overheard them tell other customers on the phone that they frequently overbook. Completely unacceptable!
