What I received instead was a series of miscommunications, unfulfilled promises, and ultimately, a complete failure to provide a vehicle, leaving me in an incredibly difficult situation.Given the recent news about vehicle recalls, I proactively reached out to the Union branch for updates. On Monday, I was initially assured that my reserved van would be available and that I would receive a follow-up call the next day. This promise was broken. Instead, I was informed that the specific vehicle was not available. When I inquired about alternatives, I was told they would locate a similar vehicle to accommodate my party and call me "first thing in the morning" the next day.That call never came. I was, once again, forced to initiate contact. It was then that I received the most unhelpful response: I was told that the Union location could not assist me and that I would need to make entirely different arrangements with another location or provider.To add insult to injury, when I asked if they could coordinate with their Roselle Park location to secure a larger SUV (for which I had a quote that would fit at least 8 passengers, albeit at a higher cost than my original van reservation), I was flatly told they "can't do that."As a result of this abysmal service, I am now in a tough spot, without a vehicle for my party. I am scrambling to find alternative transportation, and if I am lucky enough to secure something, it will undoubtedly come at a higher cost than originally anticipated.This experience has left me incredibly upset and deeply disappointed with the Enterprise brand as a whole. The lack of proactive communication, the misleading information, and the complete unwillingness to offer any viable solution or assistance when their own promises fell through is unacceptable. No patience, he answered the phone as if he had no mind set to help or work with me regarding anything. 5/20/25 same vibe. Earlier in the morning I spoke with female, she stated and I quote , I would have to accept whatever car that's available on the lot. No reservations. Problem they say one thing and display another. female put me on hold never came back to the phone, my call bounce from one person to another. I see way the workers there display and unpleasant spirit, because Vincent displays the same attitude. For that if I could rate this location a zero, a zero you will get. If you don't like your job, than leave , instead of giving individuals bad attitudes. Is this a problem with all the enterprise locations. Attempting to avoid working with people , you rather try and force them to take whatever enterprise choose for them. You guys need a reality check. So, while reading other reviews, I see I'm not only person felt the bad vibes from Vincent. What a character.

I forget their names but there is an African American young female who is nice and a caucasian male with reddish hair who is absolutely NICE! He has helped me several times and he's awesome. It's tricky to enter the facility because if you missed the driveway, you have to go all the way around but it's a nice size. I've rented there 3x and all of the vehicles I had were clean, smelled great, and ran smoothly. The process was easy. It gets busy over the weekend but I expect that. Overall, I would totally rent from there again!
Jul 01, 2025 · Special K Kindlyne Special KI booked a 12-passenger van 2 months ago on May 16th,2025. My vacation is from June 27th to July 1st. The price that I locked in was $775.00 plus tax to pick on June 26th at 4pm, on 6/25/2025. I received a call from Vincent which is the Union branch manager, he was advising me that he couldn't honor my reservations because there were no vehicles to rent out. My vacation is in 24 hours of today. He also told me that I can call around and ask other enterprises in the area if they can accommodate me. He made me feel as if it was my fault that this has happened to me. He had no compassion, no empathy for the situation that I am now put in. I asked if he could give me 2 vehicles instead, he told he didn't have anything to rent me. I shopped around in my area for another 12-passenger vehicle, there either isn’t anything left or the price has doubled. I contacted enterprise customer service told the agent the situation (William), he was very helpful. He found a 12-passenger van for me in West Orange and moved my reservation to West Orange, Perfect! After I got off the phone with the rep. I decided to call West Orange Enterprise just to verify the reservation myself. Upon talking to Rep. from the West Orange branch, she informed me that the price of the reservation will be higher than the original reservation; now pay double the price for the 12-passenger van at $1700.00. I have no choice to rent this vehicle to get my family to the vacation that we planned or I will lose all my money for Airbnb reservation which was ($3900) dollars and have a disappointed family of 12. Today is now 07/02/2022 the day after I returned the vehicle I did speak with the regional manager of Essex County for Enterprise, and he offered to refund 200 dollars but that’s because we compliant about the cleanliness of the Van and leaking water from the dashboard onto the passenger rider. I feel the proper resolution would be to honor the original reservation price of $775.00 ( which would result in refunding me about half of 1700.) Making the customer pay for Enterprise mistake is not something I thought Enterprise was about. I feel SCAMMED by ENTERPRISE!P.S. As of today 7/9/2025, I haven’t received any call from enterprise about my experience. I asked multiple customers service reps to please escalate this to an area director so we can discuss the behavior of the manager of the union branch. I looked at his reviews on yelp and google, the reviews are outlandish about his demeanor towards customers. I just want someone to be aware of how he treats customers.

I have rented from this Enterprise in tje past and every time i am extremely satisfied with the customer service. I would highly recommend.
