Enterprise Rent-A-Car has built a reputation as a leading name in the car rental industry, primarily focusing on the local market and emphasizing customer service. The Blue Bell branch exemplifies this dedication, serving as a convenient hub for individuals and businesses seeking dependable transportation. From fuel-efficient economy cars ideal for quick errands to spacious SUVs perfect for longer journeys, Enterprise aims to offer a well-maintained fleet. While individual customer experiences can vary, Enterprise consistently strives to provide solutions for those who need a replacement car due to an accident, mechanical repair, theft, or simply require a vehicle for a special occasion or short trip.

The branch is easy to reach from neighboring communities such as Plymouth Meeting, Ambler, Fort Washington, and Conshohocken. Its position allows for straightforward navigation, minimizing travel time to and from the rental office, a significant advantage for busy individuals and families.
The accessibility of this Enterprise branch means that whether your own car is undergoing repairs nearby, or you simply need a vehicle for a local excursion, the pick-up and drop-off process can be efficient and hassle-free. Enterprise also offers a complimentary pick-up service from homes or offices within a certain radius (it's always best to confirm this service directly with the branch), adding another layer of convenience for Pennsylvania locals who might not have immediate transportation to the rental location.
- Extensive Vehicle Fleet: Enterprise offers a broad range of vehicles including economy, compact, mid-size, standard, and full-size cars, as well as SUVs, minivans, premium vehicles, and even pickup trucks and cargo vans for specialized needs.

- GPS Navigation Systems: For easy navigation, especially when exploring new areas of Pennsylvania, GPS devices are available as an optional add-on.

- One-Way Rentals: The ability to pick up a vehicle at the Blue Bell location and drop it off at another Enterprise branch, including those across state lines (with certain restrictions), offers flexibility for longer trips.
- Debit Card Acceptance: While credit cards are preferred, Enterprise may accept debit cards for rentals under specific conditions, which typically include a thorough verification process.
- Highly Praised Customer Service (based on positive reviews): One customer enthusiastically described their experience as "very positive," feeling "very special," and highlighting the staff as "so kind, caring and amazing," indicating exceptional customer interaction.
- Reliable and Clean Vehicles (as per positive feedback): A positive reviewer found the rental car to be "clean and reliable," making it an "ideal substitute" for their own vehicle, which is a crucial aspect for any renter.
- Efficiency and Courtesy: The check-in process was described as "swift and effortless," and the customer was treated with "utmost courtesy and respect" even upon returning the vehicle, pointing to a well-managed and respectful service.
- Commitment to Rectifying Issues (general Enterprise policy): While not specifically for this location's negative review, Enterprise generally aims to rectify issues, as noted by a long-term customer who had "great experience" and found them "quick to rectify the issue" occasionally.
- Potential for Vehicle Unavailability/Discrepancy: A significant concern highlighted by a negative review involved a reserved small pickup truck being unavailable at pick-up time, with a larger, less fuel-efficient F150 being provided instead due to the reserved vehicle needing an "oil change." This indicates potential issues with inventory management or vehicle readiness.
- Insufficient Compensation for Inconvenience: The negative reviewer expressed dissatisfaction with the compensation offered (a small amount for fuel) for the additional cost incurred due to the larger, less fuel-efficient vehicle on a long trip, and a truck that was "over 1000 miles past due for an oil change."
- Billing and Communication Issues: The "update" from the negative reviewer revealed discrepancies between the quoted estimate and the actual invoice ($150 difference), an uncharged second driver fee that was eventually charged, and an assistant manager's refusal to discuss a "refund" or "offset additional fuel cost," leading to a significant financial loss for the customer. This points to serious issues with transparent pricing and dispute resolution.

For residents across Pennsylvania, particularly those in Blue Bell and the surrounding Montgomery County area, Enterprise Rent-A-Car on Skippack Pike offers a highly convenient and potentially beneficial option for their car rental needs. Its strategic location on a major road ensures easy accessibility from nearby communities like Ambler, Fort Washington, and Conshohocken, making it a practical choice for both planned travel and unexpected vehicle requirements, such as when your personal car is in the shop. The added convenience of a possible customer pick-up service further enhances its suitability for locals without immediate transport to the branch.
Enterprise's commitment to a diverse fleet means that locals can find a vehicle to suit almost any purpose, from compact cars for navigating local roads to SUVs for family excursions, or even trucks for larger hauling needs. This variety, coupled with flexible rental periods and useful add-ons like GPS and child safety seats, ensures that the service can be tailored to individual and family requirements, providing a comprehensive solution for temporary transportation.
However, while Enterprise generally aims for high customer satisfaction, recent customer feedback for this specific location presents a mixed picture. While some experiences are lauded for "kind, caring and amazing" staff, "swift and effortless" check-ins, and "clean and reliable" cars, other reviews highlight significant challenges. These challenges include issues with reserved vehicle availability, insufficient compensation for inconveniences, and concerning discrepancies in billing and customer service when resolving disputes. For Pennsylvania locals considering this Enterprise branch, it is advisable to proceed with thorough confirmation of their reservation details, including vehicle type and pricing, and to clearly communicate any specific needs or concerns at the time of pickup. While the potential for an excellent service experience exists, being proactive in managing expectations and confirming terms can help mitigate potential issues and ensure a more satisfactory rental outcome for your journey across Pennsylvania.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I had a very positive experience renting a car from you recently. You made me feel very special. I shall rent a car if needed from you in the future, many, many thanks for everything. The staff were so kind, caring and amazing. Thank you so much.
Jul 07, 2025 · Anne CorrentyI’ve used enterprise many times previously with great experience. Occasionally there was an issue but they were quick to rectify the issue. Unfortunately this location was not as promising, and I hesitate going here again. They called to confirm my reservation of a small pickup truck the day before. When I arrived the following day at 4pm the size I reserved needed an “oil change” and hadn’t been returned yet. So they gave me an F150 for the same price. The issue is I’m driving to Florida, 3 hours after getting the rental. So learning at time of pickup that the vehicle reserved isn’t available, you don’t have time to adjust plans. I needed a truck due to some large objects that wouldn’t fit in a full size SUV. When I brought this to the agents attention, they said they would help with gas. The agent waited to the end, to tell me he was taking a 1/4 tank off the return level. Please elaborate how $15/20 offset the additional $190 I had to pay in fuel. Not to mention the F150 is over 1000 miles past due for an oil change. So the small pickup took precedence for the oil change, why not check the replacement vehicle as well?**update** I contacted the location requesting a partial refund or something for the inconvenience. The assistant manger basically said I was making an unorthodox request, and wouldn’t allow me to explain my reasoning once the word “refund” was mentioned. Simply offset the additional fuel cost, and I would have been satisfied. We won’t mention how the quoted rental estimate was $150 less than the actual invoice. Since they charged me for a second driver, but said they wouldn’t. In total I’m out nearly $350 for going to this enterprise location.
Jan 01, 2025 · EdwardI usually use discounted app to book my car. I did book a pickup truck on the app that was available at the Enterprise location at 620 Skippack Pike. Blue Bell, PA 19422. Went to the location met up with an African American female that works there. I presented my confirmation number and she said we don't have the truck here even though the discounted app assured me that the pickup truck was there. The employee said I only have a large pickup truck and in order for me to rented is to rent it straight from location. I told her can you upgrade my booking and she said NO. Ok then I said I will cancel my booking and get that on the app. I did cancel the booking and tried to rent the pickup truck on the app and of course she took of the website So I don't get it on discount. This is just a game she played and had no consideration how important I needed to get things done. I called my discounted app and they located a vehicle for me and I was directed to the location and got my rental. I could've call the cops and filed a report and then took that employee to court and put a lean on her name for costing me money and time. The problem is that the company hires those individuals that ruin location with deception and lies. Well for one thing i don't do Enterprise unless desperate through discounted apps but I will never use Enterprise again and I did post this review on Facebook with 9876 followers including family members.
May 14, 2025 · Rex TroyI had a great time picking up the car from a young gentleman but had a bad experience when i returned the car and was charged an additional hour, which i called them back and they admitted the mistake and sent a new invoice because the time it says I returned the car on the invoice and it was not actually the time when I returned the car.I checked my credit card statement and there was a pending refund charge from enterprise but that refund charge disappeared so I have to dispute it using the revised invoice...I'm not sure whether this was intentional or whether it was a careless mistake.
