Enterprise Rent-A-Car Introduce
For residents of Nevada, particularly those in the vibrant Las Vegas area, access to reliable transportation is a cornerstone of daily life and weekend adventures. Whether you're planning a scenic road trip across our beautiful state, need a temporary vehicle while yours is in the shop, or simply require an extra car for family visiting from out of town, car rental services are a vital resource. Enterprise Rent-A-Car, a household name in vehicle rentals, offers a convenient location right on the famous Las Vegas Strip, aiming to serve both visitors and our local community.
This particular Enterprise branch, situated at 3655 S Las Vegas Blvd, presents a unique set of circumstances due to its high-profile location. While it’s designed to cater to the millions who flock to the Strip, it also provides an accessible option for Nevadans who find themselves in the area or prefer a non-airport pick-up. Enterprise is known for its wide selection of vehicles and a customer service philosophy often associated with "we'll pick you up" (though this specific service should always be confirmed for a Strip location).
However, as with any bustling service point, especially in a tourist-heavy zone, understanding the ins and outs of this branch is key to a smooth experience. This article will delve into what makes the Enterprise Rent-A-Car on South Las Vegas Boulevard a distinct choice for local users. We'll explore its location and accessibility, the range of services it offers, unique features and highlights – including critical insights from real customer reviews – and practical advice to ensure your rental process is as straightforward as possible. For those of us who call Nevada home, knowing how to navigate these local service points efficiently is invaluable for both convenience and peace of mind.
The Enterprise Rent-A-Car location we are focusing on is strategically placed on the iconic Las Vegas Strip at:
3655 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
This address places Enterprise within the bustling heart of Las Vegas, likely situated within or very near a major resort, such as Planet Hollywood. This central location offers unparalleled convenience for anyone already on the Strip, making it easily accessible for locals attending events, conventions, or simply needing a rental while staying or working in the immediate area.
Accessibility, however, comes with its own set of considerations. Being on the Strip means navigating potentially heavy foot and vehicle traffic. For those driving to pick up a rental, parking and finding the exact Enterprise counter can be a bit of a maze within a large resort complex. As detailed in a customer review, returning a car, especially if it was picked up at a different location (like the airport), can be particularly confusing. The advice to "enter the self-parking garage, make sure you enter from the most left gate" and to locate "Enterprise on Level 1" is critical for a smooth return process, as missing the correct entrance can lead to significant detours. The key drop-off point often being in the "hotel lobby" further emphasizes the need for clear instructions and patience when returning a vehicle at this type of integrated location.
Despite these navigational challenges, the location's prominence on Las Vegas Boulevard means it is well-served by various transportation methods. Locals can reach it via rideshare, taxi, or the extensive public bus system (RTC) that runs along the Strip. Its central positioning makes it a practical choice for those who want to avoid the longer travel times associated with going to the main rental car facility near the airport, provided they are prepared for the specific in-resort pick-up and drop-off procedures.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car, including its Las Vegas Strip location, typically provides a comprehensive array of services designed to meet diverse customer needs:
- Extensive Vehicle Selection: Access to a wide range of vehicles, from economical compact cars for city driving, comfortable sedans for daily commutes, and spacious SUVs for family trips, to minivans for larger groups and even luxury vehicles for a special occasion.
- Flexible Rental Periods: Options for various rental durations, including daily, weekly, and monthly rates, accommodating quick needs or extended periods when a personal vehicle is unavailable.
- Online Reservation System: A user-friendly website and mobile app for convenient booking, allowing customers to easily check vehicle availability, compare rates, apply discounts, and manage their reservations in advance.
- Optional Protection Products: Availability of various coverage options, such as Damage Waiver (DW), Personal Accident Insurance (PAI), and Roadside Assistance Protection (RAP), which customers can choose to purchase for added peace of mind.
- Add-on Equipment: Provision of supplementary items like GPS navigation devices and child safety seats, which can be reserved along with the vehicle.
- One-Way Rentals: The flexibility to pick up a vehicle at this Strip location and return it to another Enterprise branch, either within Nevada or another state, which is useful for longer journeys or differing travel plans.
- Enterprise Plus Loyalty Program: A rewards program that allows frequent renters to earn points for free rental days, expedite pick-up, and potentially receive upgrades.
- Debit Card and Credit Card Acceptance: Enterprise generally accepts both credit and debit cards for rentals, though specific requirements for debit card rentals (e.g., proof of return travel, additional identification) should always be verified directly with the branch, especially at a high-volume location.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car on S Las Vegas Blvd, while part of a reputable brand, features some specific highlights and considerations based on customer experiences:
- Central Strip Location: Its placement directly on the Las Vegas Strip is a major highlight for convenience, especially for locals already in the area for work or leisure, offering a unique pick-up point distinct from the airport.
- Complex Return Process: As noted in reviews, the process for returning a vehicle, particularly if it was picked up elsewhere, can be confusing due to its integration within a large self-parking garage. Clear guidance, like entering from the "most left gate" to reach "Level 1" for Enterprise spots, is crucial for a smooth return.
- Communication Challenges: Customer feedback indicates potential issues with phone communication (e.g., calls being hung up or ringing excessively). This suggests that direct, in-person interaction, or leveraging online tools, might be more reliable for critical inquiries.
- Specific ID Requirements for International Visitors: A significant highlight/caution is the strict requirement for passports or photocopies for international renters, even if not explicitly mentioned during phone reminders. While this may primarily affect out-of-country visitors, it underscores the need for all renters to thoroughly understand all required documentation, as miscommunication can lead to denied rentals.
- Staff Interactions: Reviews highlight varying experiences with staff, ranging from "nice and helpful" to "rudely told me it was my fault" and demonstrating "arrogance, incompetence and fragile egos." This indicates that the customer service experience can be inconsistent, making a positive attitude from the renter's side and preparedness with all documents essential.
- Vehicle Condition and Safety Checks: While not explicitly mentioned in the provided reviews for this location, general Enterprise practices aim for well-maintained vehicles. However, it’s always prudent for customers to inspect their vehicle thoroughly before leaving the lot.
For direct contact with Enterprise Rent-A-Car on S Las Vegas Blvd, you can use the following information:
Address: 3655 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA
Phone: (725) 240-9204

For locals in Nevada, Enterprise Rent-A-Car at 3655 S Las Vegas Blvd offers a convenient, albeit sometimes complex, option for their car rental needs. Its strategic placement directly on the Las Vegas Strip is its most compelling feature for residents who are already in the area for work, entertainment, or simply prefer to avoid the larger, often more distant airport rental car center. For a Las Vegas local, being able to pick up or drop off a vehicle without battling airport traffic can be a significant time-saver and convenience.
The wide range of vehicles available through Enterprise means that whether you need a compact car for zipping around town, a spacious SUV for a family trip to Lake Tahoe, or a sedan for a business trip to Reno, they likely have an option to suit. This flexibility in fleet, combined with their presence throughout the nation, allows for convenient one-way rentals if your travel plans extend beyond the Las Vegas Valley.
However, locals should approach this specific location with preparedness. The complex return process within the multi-level parking garage requires attention to detail and following specific instructions (e.g., "most left gate" for Level 1). Being aware of potential inconsistencies in phone communication and the need for all required identification (including passports or copies for international licenses, even if you’re a local with such a license) can prevent frustrating delays. For residents, this means double-checking all requirements before arriving and maintaining a proactive attitude to navigate the unique aspects of a Strip-based rental.
In conclusion, Enterprise Rent-A-Car on S Las Vegas Blvd is a suitable choice for Nevadans who value a central, accessible location and the broad vehicle selection offered by a major brand. With a bit of foresight regarding the pick-up/return procedures and documentation, locals can leverage this branch for convenient, efficient, and reliable transportation across our diverse and exciting state.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1The lady staff is nice and helpful. But the place is so confusing for returning the car, and there is no clear guidance on how to return the car. I picked up the car at the airport, and returned here. When returning the car, you need to enter the self parking garage, make sure you enter from the most left gate, the enterprise is on Level 1, and if you enter from the other 2 gates, you will miss Level 1. Get a ticket when entering, that’s fine, you won’t be charged for the parking fee because you will leave the car in the garage. After entering, turn left and you will see the enterprise plate, you have to go further and turn right, until you see the enterprises reversed parking spot. The place to return the key is in hotel lobby, which is also a long way to figure out by walking.
Jun 24, 2025 · L Pi made a reservation and the day before an employee called to remind me to bring my license and credit card. i tried to call back 2x, the first time someone picked up and hung up on me, the 2nd time the phone rang about 30x so i gave up.i woke my family up at 6am so that we could drive to grand canyon and we walked to Enterprise 15 minutes away. upon arrival i was told i needed to have my passport or a photocopy of it in order to rent the car. i informed the two staff present that i received a phone message and nothing was mentioned about a passport and i offered to let them listen to the saved message. the staff rudely told me it was my fault for not knowing better. keep in mind this enterprise is in the middle of the las vegas strip and this area receives about 4.7 million out of country visitors each year.i attempted to advise the staff that if they included the need for a passport in their phone messages they could avoid this issue in the future... again i was told it was my fault for not knowing. while my spouse returned to the hotel to get my passport i was asked for my license, when i set i down on a metal part of the counter it made a click noise, the agent made the ridiculous assertion that i slammed my license down, made a call and then refused to rent a car to my family.i have never experienced such a high degree of; poor communication, arrogance, incompetence and fragile egos. the next day i rented from an amazing agent at Avis. enterprise has lost my business for life.
Apr 01, 2025 · A ReitzelThis place is hard to find. Rentals are located in parking garage that has limited signage and the check is at the other side of Paris Hotel. Also, the rental we picked up had not been cleaned and an odor like a dead animal came from the vents. Found an old moldy cheeseburger underneath one of the seats too. Just discusting and customer service refuses to call back
Jun 18, 2025 · Shane GallesJohn took care of us!! We decided last minute to try to rent a car and explore the area on a beautiful, cool day in the desert. After walking, getting lost in the Venetian looking for the rental counter, only to have no luck, we chanced it at the Paris and rented from John. The car was just what we needed and affordable. Thank you for making our day!!
Mar 27, 2024 · Lori GagenI made a reservation almost a month ago for a minivan. Two days before the rental date, I received a phone call from Enterprise asking if I would be okay with an SUV instead of the minivan. Since I have a family and many suitcases, I said I would prefer the minivan, and they assured me that it would be fine.On the rental date, I arrived before 9 AM to pick up my car at the scheduled time. However, the staff informed me that the rental car would not be available until 10 AM—and even then, they could not guarantee it (what?!). I waited until 10 AM, but then they told me there was no car available and asked me to return at 12 PM. There were no apologies, and the staff was incredibly rude. All I got was "I don’t know" and "We will contact you."I came back at 12 PM, but still, no car was available. After waiting until 2:30 PM, I was finally given a Kia Rio instead of the minivan I had reserved. This completely ruined our travel plans. To make matters worse, there was no apology or effort to resolve the situation. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with Enterprise. How could this even happen? Their customer service was unacceptable, and I will seriously reconsider using Enterprise in the future.
