Enterprise Rent-A-Car is a global leader in the car rental industry, known for its extensive network of neighborhood locations that aim to serve local communities directly. The Quakertown branch, like many others, strives to offer convenient access to a diverse fleet of vehicles.
The Enterprise Rent-A-Car branch is situated at 80 S West End Blvd, Quakertown, PA 18951, USA. This location places it on a well-known road in Quakertown, a borough that serves as a commercial hub for a significant part of northern Bucks County.
South West End Boulevard (also known as PA Route 309 for a stretch) is a major north-south artery, providing excellent accessibility to the rental office for residents from Quakertown itself and neighboring towns such as Perkasie, Coopersburg, and Souderton. Its position within a commercial area often means it's easily reachable and identifiable.
A significant advantage offered by Enterprise, and particularly valuable for local customers whose own vehicles might be out of commission, is their complimentary pick-up service. This service can alleviate the logistical challenge of getting to the rental office, making the overall experience more convenient. As noted by some customers, this can feel like "riding with friends," highlighting a friendly approach to service. While not an airport location, its suburban setting makes it a practical choice for day-to-day rental needs, avoiding the complexities and potential higher costs associated with airport rentals.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car at 80 S West End Blvd in Quakertown offers a comprehensive array of rental services designed to cater to various transportation requirements.
Diverse Vehicle Fleet: The branch typically maintains a varied selection of vehicles to suit different budgets and needs. This often includes:
- Fuel-efficient economy and compact cars for general commuting and cost-conscious travel.
- Mid-size and full-size sedans for comfortable business trips or family outings.
- SUVs of various sizes (compact, mid-size, full-size) like the Chevrolet Equinox or Jeep Grand Cherokee, offering more space and versatility for families, groups, or those needing extra cargo capacity.
- Minivans (e.g., Chrysler Pacifica) and larger passenger vans for bigger groups or family vacations.
- Pickup trucks for hauling materials or assisting with home projects.
- Specialty or luxury vehicles for a premium experience, though availability may vary by location.
Flexible Rental Durations: Customers can typically choose from daily, weekly, and monthly rental options, providing flexibility for short-term needs, extended trips, or situations where a personal vehicle is undergoing long-term repairs.
One-Way Rentals: While subject to availability and potential fees, Enterprise generally offers one-way rental options, allowing customers to pick up a vehicle at the Quakertown location and return it to a different Enterprise branch, which can be convenient for inter-city travel or specific itineraries.
Optional Add-ons and Protection Plans: To enhance the rental experience and provide peace of mind, customers can typically choose from various optional additions. These commonly include GPS navigation systems, child safety seats, and various protection plans such as Damage Waiver (DW), Extended Protection (EP), Personal Accident Insurance (PAI), and Personal Effects Coverage (PEC). It is important for customers to thoroughly understand these options and how they relate to their existing personal auto insurance or credit card benefits.
Corporate and Business Solutions: Enterprise also provides tailored rental programs for businesses, including corporate accounts and long-term leasing options, offering benefits like negotiated rates and streamlined billing processes for companies in the region.
The Enterprise Rent-A-Car branch on South West End Boulevard in Quakertown offers several features that can enhance the rental experience for its local clientele, though customer experiences can be mixed.
Friendly and Professional Staff: Positive customer reviews frequently highlight the staff as "helpful, kind, patient, and professional." Interactions with employees like "Darbie" are specifically praised for going "above and beyond" in assisting customers, particularly in stressful situations (e.g., helping a customer transfer a large amount of luggage and mobility aids into a smaller vehicle when an SUV wasn't available). This suggests a strong customer service orientation.
Complimentary Pick-Up Service: As mentioned, the ability to be picked up from home is a significant convenience for local customers, reducing logistical hurdles and making the rental process more seamless.
Clean and Well-Maintained Vehicles: Customers have consistently reported that the "cars were clean inside and well maintained and all the glass clean." This commitment to vehicle cleanliness and upkeep is crucial for a comfortable and reliable rental experience.
Accommodating and Flexible Approach: The branch has been noted for accommodating customer needs, such as ensuring a customer felt "comfortable to drive" the vehicle and even going back to the repair shop to bring a different car if the initial one wasn't suitable. The ease of extending rentals via the website is also a plus for flexibility.
Transparent Pricing (Generally): Some customers have indicated that "All charges were completely disclosed from the beginning," which fosters trust and helps avoid unexpected costs. However, it is always critical for customers to review all documentation carefully.
Potential for Damage Claim Issues: It is important for potential renters to be aware of a significant concern raised by at least one customer regarding damage claims. A review described a negative experience involving a claim for "road paint" damage filed long after the car was returned, which the customer contested as a "scam." This highlights the critical importance of thoroughly inspecting the vehicle with an agent at both pick-up and drop-off, taking dated and time-stamped photos or videos, and obtaining clear documentation of the vehicle's condition upon return. While not reflective of every experience, such incidents underscore the need for vigilance.

Operating Hours: Based on typical Enterprise neighborhood hours, this branch is generally open Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and closed on Sundays. However, it is always advisable to call ahead to confirm their current operating schedule, especially for holidays or if you plan an after-hours return, as customers are responsible for the vehicle's condition until business opens.
For residents of Pennsylvania, particularly those in Quakertown and the surrounding communities, Enterprise Rent-A-Car at 80 S West End Blvd offers a suitable option for their car rental needs, primarily due to its accessible local presence and commitment to customer service. The complimentary pick-up service is a significant convenience, making it easier for individuals to obtain a rental when their personal vehicle is unavailable. The staff, as highlighted by multiple positive reviews, can be exceptionally helpful, kind, and professional, striving to ensure a comfortable and accommodating experience, even in challenging situations. The consistent cleanliness and maintenance of their vehicles also contribute positively to the rental experience.
However, potential renters should approach with an understanding of the importance of diligent documentation. While many experiences are positive, the isolated, but serious, concern regarding a contested damage claim underscores the universal advice for any car rental: thoroughly inspect the vehicle at both pick-up and drop-off, document its condition with photos or videos, and obtain clear return receipts. By taking these precautions, local Pennsylvanians can better protect themselves and fully benefit from the otherwise positive aspects of renting from this Enterprise branch. Ultimately, for those in need of a local, convenient, and generally well-regarded car rental solution in Quakertown, this Enterprise location remains a viable choice.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Unfortunately, 1 MONTH after I turned in my car, I received a call from my insurance company that Enterprise had filed a claim against my insurance stating that I had returned the car damaged with "road paint".Total scam - their agent didn't take pictures when/ where he picked it up instead drove it and claimed damage that is not noticeable in the pictures they provided "because it looks like dirt". $5000! Google Enterprise scam. Sadly, a common tactic. Now they keep sending threatening collection letters. To court we go...My SUV broke down on the turnpike on the way to the beach. I had my 77 year old mom with me and a LOT of stuff including my son's bike, her walker, her wheelchair, her scooter, groceries, luggage, etc. While I was so happy to safely make it there, unfortunately they did not have a SUV and I was then faced with getting ALL of my stuff into a sedan. At this point, I wanted to cry. Cue Darbie! She came running out and said something along the lines of "2 people make light work" grabbed my son's bike and moved it to the rental and stuck by my side until it was all moved to the rental car. She was an angel. There was a finger nail in the door and it took an extra call and over 20 minutes on the phone to get the billing adjusted bc of my dealer warranty claim...
Jun 16, 2025 · Diane FegleyI had 2 separate rentals about a year apart from the Quakertown location and both were excellent. Every employee I have interacted with has been helpful, kind, patient, and professional. They made sure I left with a vehicle I was comfortable to drive even going back from the shop where I was and bringing a different car. The cars were clean inside and well maintained and all the glass clean. All charges were completely disclosed from the beginning. The website made it very simple to extend my rental when I needed to.
Jan 29, 2025 · Kip StreinerI rented a Chrysler Pacifica to go visit my family that live over an hour away and needed more seating that what my car provided and something that would be easier for my elderly mother and Aunt to get in and out of being that my vehicle is closer to the ground making them having to get up out of it rather then just stepping out like in a MiniVan. Upon renting the MiniVan I was told that I would be responsible for any scratches or damage done to the rims or any dents. Well someone hit the passenger door with I would assume was their mirror from how high the scratch was that was made and of course all I kept thinking about for the rest of my visit was how much was this going to cost me on top of taking full coverage insurance and the rental plus gas of my hold amount and will I owe more then the hold amount. I had reservations to take 12 adults out for dinner on my tab. All I could do the entire day was worry. It would have been nice to see a visual demonstration of responsibility of damages done by outside irresponsible people that you have no control over. Other then that the actual transaction from picking up the vehicle was quick and the associated was friendly gave a lot of information as well. But maybe show potential renters visual size length and width so they can enjoy their trip worrying about other things then damages that occur in Parking Lot areas
May 15, 2025 · Sheila CRenters beware. The cars at this location are filthy and the representatives are rude and have no regard for their customers. Staff needs to be retrained and their cars need to be junked. I had a reservation and my car wasn’t ready. Then a girl came in saying she didn’t like the way her car looked can she get a new one. They gave her a new car. Now they say it was a safety issue but I was there when she said she didn’t like the car. In the meantime I’m sitting here waiting for my reservation. There are zero people skills and the rebuttals after explaining the situation was “we are not going to rent to you”. If this is how enterprise treats its customers I want no part of it. There are plenty of other rental car companies I can use.
Jan 23, 2025 · Rachel GlasserLiterally the hardest company I’ve ever dealt with and I’m the most easy going person lol. Long story short, I got in an accident in October (that wasn’t my fault) Rented a car through them and the opposing insurance covered the full amount. Except Enterprise claimed they didn’t when they did. I had to pay the deposit when I got there of $150. Not a big deal, 2 weeks goes by and I get a call at work saying that they will be charging my card $215 because Progressive is only covering half of the daily payment, which I knew was wrong. A bunch of back and forth happens and Enterprise messed up. AGAIN. Lmao. So they go to refund me the money, instead of doing the refund as a Debit they do credit. So it charges my account again $100 for a supposive “holding fee” for the refund. Makes a lot of sense I know. Then I return the car, I get ONLY $100 back they said I will get the rest back once the refund processed. However, I have Wells Fargo and my refunds never take more than 2-3 days. Ever. I’m writing this in February with no refund still. I try emailing, I try calling, all they continue to say is “The process time is 30-90 days” So we are coming up on 90 days and I will update. However, this really wasnt long story short lmao. Bottom line, customer service is AWFUL, bad enough that someone who doesn’t ever write reviews is writing one. Anyways, do not trust this company. Also to the person reading working for this location. Wheres my $300?OH ALSO, my vehicle was unregistered :) just to make matters even better. Enjoy my lawyer Kaitlyn.
