However, choices that they make that make things worse are just that their choices.Several weeks before, I was scheduled to be picked up after dropping my van at a local repair shop. The shop contacted the local Enterprise as soon as I arrived roughly 11 am that I was ready for the pickup. The lady there explained that they normally arrive within 10 minutes, but that they seemed to be having a challenging day, so it might be longer. It was but not terrible, by 11:30 they picked me up.The lady picking me up informed me that they were very short of cars today and that they were also short handed on employees. She said that she could take me to the office to wait for a car to be returned or take me home since it would likely be a few hours before a car was available. She said they would let me know when a car was available and come pick me up. I opted to wait at home.Several hours went by without hearing anything, so my wife and I drop by the location to check. It was 2:50 when we arrived and I was told that a car was available for me, but they needed to clean it up. So if I wanted to wait that they would have it for me shortly, because their were only two people at the location and they were trying to keep up. I said rather than waiting that I would get something to eat and be back, but I clarified that I have this car even if I go eat, right? The lady at the counter agreed, yes this is my car.Up to this point in my mind, these are all frustrating to me, but understandable things that can happen with a business, especially at a smaller location.However when I returned at 4:00, I was informed that they still needed a few minutes to get my car ready. This is were I feel they made a choice that negatively affected me, rather than it just being things beyond their power. Either they stopped cleaning up the car that I was told was mine at 2:50 or they gave that car to someone else despite our agreement that I would wait for the car elsewhere. If they needed me to wait in the lobby to hold my “place in line” then she should have told me that. So finally at 4:30 I was able to get my car and leave at least 5 hours later than should have been the case and certainly 30 to 90 minutes late strictly due to their choice not honestly tell me how they were choosing to operate.The next time I need to rent a car due to one of my cars being in the shop, I will arrange it my self and pay the difference between my insurance company’s contracted price with Enterprise and what I can get a car for at a company that is more interested my business and dealing with me transparently.

However, the gentlemen that we’re working today were quite literally running to get cars cleaned in time for folks that we’re waiting. I was in and out in less than an hour. Very grateful for the hustle!

I had them set up for booking through online booking agency and they ignored the voucher paper they handed to them 2x and proceeded to charge them $900 for a $600 rental.Called and asked for the Area manager to call and they still have not returned our calls. Shame on you Enterprise.

I made an online reservation in advance, but when I arrived at the location, the employee refused to rent me the car, claiming my Brazilian driver’s license wasn’t translated into English. This is incorrect—my license is valid for temporary rentals, and this requirement was never stated during the booking process. The refusal was arbitrary and unjustified. It was clear that I was treated differently due to discrimination. It was humiliating, disrespectful, and unacceptable. I do not recommend this location to anyone. I walked a few minutes and rented the car at Hertz. I had no problem there. I recommend Hertz!
Jun 14, 2025 · Marcelo SantosRecently I had a terrible experience with a pickup at the Longmont Enterprise location, and after calling around in search of a safe vehicle (which I was denied in Longmont) I found that this enterprise location had an appropriate vehicle.Like an idiot, I booked it a day later than I meant to, but the staff at this location were friendly about correcting it for me.Unfortunately my streak of getting somewhat junked automobiles has continued with this location.We received a Mazda CX9 which had faulty parking sensors, causing alarms and messages on the screen periodically. This was very annoying.Enterprise sends you a text stating that if you have any issues, you can reply to the text and the branch will reach out to you.I tried this method over the course of several days and was completely ignored.Upon returning the vehicle, there was no knowledge about the messages I have sent.I give this location 2 stars for the simple fact that the staff was nice, and helped me with my bonehead reservation error.Unfortunately it stops there, because there is something seriously wrong with all of the Enterprise operations in this area. Rates are good, but the cars are scary bad. This Mazda had 27k miles on it, but it drove like it had 127k. Beeping away most of the time thanks to the sensor system that had to be manually deactivated after every start up.If you are looking for a safe reliable vehicle for you or your family, I’d recommend choosing a chain that has nothing to do with Enterprise, if that is even possible.
