★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I rented in Houston on March 5, 2025, and I received a 2023 Malibu with the front bumper misaligned. I took note and also took pictures along with the service representative. I ended up going to Goodyear 5 times within a month. The check engine light had come on the manager Jorge told me that they’d gotten the approval to proceed but that the light might continue to come on due to a malfunction and may need attention from the dealership, and that he’d document it in the notes. After about a week or so, I went for an oil change and Jorge asked me about the light, and I told him it hadn’t come on again. He stated that it was possible it would again and that I may need to exchange the vehicle. April 6, 2025, the check engine light came back on and I brought it back to Flexdrive. My contract was closed out and I was told to book for another vehicle because there wasn’t another available. I initially was able to reserve for the 15th, but an opening came for the April 9th. I arrived on time, and during the onboarding I was brought outside to be informed that I could not rent again because of the check engine light. After going back and forth with the representative, he told me that they don’t know if I caused the light to come on, in which I told him that the manager at Goodyear said it was a malfunction. The representative told me regardless of that, I could not rent again and changed my status to unable to rent until the vehicle goes to the dealership. This is after the vehicle was still sitting in the parking lot and I informed the representative that he gave me the vehicle with the front bumper misaligned and that the renter before could have done something. He stated that it is possible but that the bumper’s misalignment was not severe enough to get it fixed prior to renting. I have lost out on making money due to all of this. I have attached the pictures from the day I rented so that the date is shown that I received the vehicle with the misalignment prior to driving. Flexdrive blocked me from being able to rent even through Flexdrive stating that I violated the accident policy. I did not have an accident in the vehicle, the check engine light came on out of nowhere. I even declined keeping the vehicle after another representative called Goodyear April 7th to verify that what I was saying was true. I am disappointed that I am being denied another rental and that I am being accused of violating the accident policy which is completely false. Not being able to rent again has affected my livelihood and was told that I have to wait until the dealership clears me of any wrongdoing which is unacceptable due to the fact that the manager at Goodyear informing me and Flexdrive that there is a malfunction and that it needs dealership attention.

They provide ZERO help when you have an issue like a tire blowout. UPDATE: They told me “we have 700 vehicles and 4 employees. There’s no way we can answer phones.” Well SCREW THAT. Hire more people. Or at least make a website that tells you what to do when you have a tire blowout. RIDICULOUS. You can’t call ahead. You can’t email. You can’t schedule a time. THEY HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I had a little incident where I lost control of a dolly and it hit the side of the car but the damage was minor and the $40 I was paying every week to waive the damage deductible definitely came in handy for that very reason. They explained that I wouldn't need to pay anything extra and my deposit would be returned in about 2 weeks. Service was quick and professional, and though I won't need to rent any more, I wouldn't hesitate to do it again if needed!!!

Lease you a car, don’t waste your money with these people. Just fix your credit a little. Even a note for 500 a month cheaper than paying Lyft 900-1200 monthly

I can’t believe I’m working 14 15 hours a day from 10pm until 8-9 am for a COMPANY THAT DONT GIVE A CRAP ABOUT YOU, now it’s IMPOSSIBLE TO MAKE THE RENTAL AND MAKE MONEY. This is enough to keep you in a HOLE I AM SOO DISAPPOINTED I REALLY LOVE WHAT I DO AND NOW I HAVE TO FUN ANOTHER JOB, as a single parent and caregiver of my mother this was the only thing that worked even though it’s EXTREMELY UNSAFE. Please folks DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE RUNS OR TRY A WORK FROM HOME JOB.!! SMH 😢 I just cannot believe this!!! This will be my last day. I can’t afford this at all!!
