I picked up the car around 8 a.m. The process was smooth, but shortly after driving off, a warning appeared on the dashboard saying the car needed an oil change and that the washer fluid was low.Although I was already away from the airport, thankfully I was still in Atlanta. I was really disappointed to see this message on a rental car, but I was organizing a baby shower that day and couldn’t afford any delays. After the event, the warning was still there, so I decided to check the oil change records and realized the car was overdue for an oil change.I called Fox to report the issue. The representative apologized and told me I would have to return the car to the airport because they couldn’t send anyone to service it. This added over an hour to my trip, as I had to go back to the airport. When I arrived, the agent said there was nothing else they could do. Really? They rented me a car that was already overdue for an oil change and couldn’t offer any other support?She just apologized and told me to speak with the manager. The manager was polite but explained there wasn’t much he could do because I booked through Booking.com. The only compensation he could offer was to waive the fuel charge. He also offered me a car upgrade, but it didn’t matter much to me since I was only driving to Orlando — I wasn’t keeping the car for the week. I just wanted a reliable vehicle that wouldn’t cause any problems on the way.We switched cars, and I continued my trip. Yes, I had to deal with all that trouble, and the only compensation offered was a free tank of gas. I’ve attached photos as proof of what happened. This situation was incredibly inconvenient and frustrating. This agency should care more about its customers and ensure they provide the basic service promised: a car in good condition, safe and ready for travel.

My daughter and I were forced to wait over 3 hours for the car rental. They had tons of people standing there waiting, no cars available, and not offering to do anything for anyone while we had to sit and wait for the cars.Then upon driving the car the tire pressure light went on and there was a giant nail in the tire. Being in a hurry I patched the tire and figured that I would settle it with them when I returned the car. I was told there was nothing that they could do until I was charged. I called today now that the charge is there to get a discount for the wait and also to get refunded for the patch. She told me they would not refund me for the patch even though I have pictures as well a receipt. NEVER rent from this company. They are absolutely horrible with the worst customer service ever. Unless you want to waste half a day of your trip I would look elsewhere.Update - I reached out to Fox as they requested below and no one responded to me. I guess they just go through and make these responses so they can appear to have some kind of customer service. I am not surprised. As I said previously I will never rent from this company ever again.

But I already paid for the rental car and I was in a rush to get to a job! Now I have to go sit back in traffic because their machine couldn't take an image of my license! We are living in an age of technology, and I do have a passport and a passport card! No resolution offered, but to try and rent a car somewhere else! I did these reservations 5 days ago, any one knows if you rent on the same day the price goes up ridiculously! I'm sorry Fox lost my business, would never rent here again! The last at the counter was nice she was the lone bright spot!

I have never encountered a car rental service with such disregard for their customers or a lack of professionalism.My mother and I booked a car rental as a package deal through a third party traveling agency. There weren't any problems with the pick up process, however when we looked at our credit card statement after the trip we noticed an extra $130 fee for a "Loss Damage Waiver" that we were uninformed about. According to their customer service representative, they said we had signed up for it when we signed the waiver. The "waiver" was on a small electronic pad and we thought we were signing to pick up the car. There was no verbal disclosure about the hidden fee, which most car rental representatives would take the extra second to disclose.We contacted customer service about the issue, and the lady was not helpful in the slightest and blamed us for signing the form. Though most car rental services will usually give the courtesy to MENTION any additional costs. And we even contacted the manager, Aaron Girado, twice by email and never got a response from him either.We’ve rented cars many times with other companies, and we are always asked upfront if we want to purchase additional coverage. That did not happen here, and we feel completely misled and ignored. I cannot recommend this company based on their poor communication, lack of transparency, and refusal to take accountability. And will never use this service again.
Jun 12, 2025 · TI don’t recommend this rental company!!! They have screwed with me financially twice in 30 days on rentals. No one knows the full policies that are employees. I was forced to pay for insurance because the guy said I cannot use my car insurance which btw I have full coverage. I already paid my deposit when I booked and at the counter I was charged a second time. I got bothe the insurance charged and the second security deposit charged reversed in 24 hours. Now in another rental from them it’s an actual 1,000 dollar deposit and I was never informed until the counter. Which that took money away from my vacation plans. Spent 50 minutes on the phone. 30 minutes I was on hold and they wonder why people fuss and cuss at them. They are rude arrogant people and definitely don’t need to be in business since they are such scam artists!! Oh and the second rental never got my receipts!!
