Having your call Hertz phone number when the car needs something and getting things approved for their rental car has not been fun fast or convenient but I'm working with them to try to stay in a good rental. Unfortunately they're the only one I can rent from in town. With some adjustments to the company I think the customer experience could be greatly improved there's potential for this company to make it back from the brink but the way customers are being handled needs a lot of work. The local employees are doing their best they're often overworked and understaffed.

I picked up a Mazda from this location and, upon driving off, noticed how filthy the car was (see photos). There were cheeze-its in the center console, trash and hair on the passenger floorboard, and straws, receipts and trash in the driver side door pocket.I immediately called to complain and they told me to go get the car washed and clean it and vacuum it myself and they will reimburse me for the car wash. I decided I wanted a new car so I took it back. They told me they didn't have any other SUVs for me. So they offered to take it to a car wash while I waited at the location.I ultimately swapped out my rental car at a different location and the agent at the second location told me that, although Hertz advertises a "15-point cleaning and sanitization" they typically don't clean cars after receiving them back from long-term rentals because people are too dirty with their cars.Extremely counterintuitive as I would imagine a car would be in more need of cleaning after a long-term rental as opposed to just a single day rental. She said that it was authorized, but then when I checked and called back, it was not. I had to call four times this morning for a supervisor.This is the second call nurse said she got a supervisor and he was just another representative. I told him I wanted a supervisor in the extended department and he transferred me to billing.Had to sit on the phone and wait and the billing department said that she didn’t even understand why the guy transferred me to her. So she had to get a supervisor from the extension department again and thank goodness she stayed on the phone with me.Come to find out they couldn’t put my charge through, but my bank was marking it as fraud because of the way Hertz does their inconsistent, unethical transactions.Your representative is a lie. They lied back-and-forth location, team acts like they can’t do anything for you at times because they don’t wanna deal because I know they’re under stress there.How do you guys expect us to provide good customer service to our passengers when you don’t give good customer service to the drivers. We are just as important.I am sick and tired of calling customer service and calling the location and then contradicting one another and people hanging up and people not wanting to do their jobAnd then you all talk to us like we are criminals or something!!! it’s unbelievable the treatment we get my friend rented from you guys last week and she immediately returned it, and she even stated that the location team was rude as hell to her!!!You guys have not offered me my free week whatsoever since I started renting from you guys and I told Mike this and he keeps ignoring that requestAlso, we need to be compensated for cleaning out other people‘s crap who didn’t clean out the car when they returned it. May 22, 2025 · MillyRenting a car is never fun for me. The rude or indifferent clerk. The wait time. The crappy car selection. The high pressure pitch to buy their insurance.However, none of that happened when I rented at this location. Easy online booking. Came in to pick up my car and I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Sonrisa was efficient, knowledgeable, friendly and very easy to do business with. I booked into an Altima but decided to upgrade (reasonable price) to a Toyota Crown, and glad I did. Drove almost 1,000 miles non stop in 14 hours, and back, and the Crown was very comfortable and ran like a champ. The final bill was what I expected so no surprises.If your looking to rent, make sure you at least check rates and availability at this location. They will take care of you.
Jun 18, 2025 · George DulingTerrible service from the guys there. I had a rental through Uber. After a couple of weeks, the air conditioner went out , middle of summer so I called in to then office. They said they didnt have any other cars so they would put in a ticket and I can take it to jiffy lube. After 2 full days of it being worked on, and still not fixed, I called back into the office to tell them I needed another car because I was losing too many days of income going on the 3rd day. Again they said we don't have any other cars, youll have to wait until that one gets fixed. After 4 full days they finally fixed the car. But I paid weekly , leaving me with 3 days to make-up for a whole week of uber rides. I called the office to see if they would discount those 4 days or give me some extra time to pay the weekly payment. Then guy said sure yea we'll work with you, don't worry you might get a message or email about your payment but dont worry its all good. The very same day , they took out my weekly payment , 3 days early, it wasn't my due date it was 3 days earlier then my due date, putting my account negative. So im thinking ok well they took the payment early, so I dont have to pay until the following Monday, 10 days later. So 5 days later they I look at my account and the payment was returned to them. The payment that they took out 3 days before it was due. So I call and call amd can't reach anyone on the phone for 2 days. So I have 5 days until my due date , and I now have to pay the last weeks payment that was returned and the current weeks payment. So 5 days to pay 2 weeks payment. So since I spoke to the gentlemen and he said they would be flexible with me and they know that the car was down for almost a whole week and they took the payment 3 days before it was supposed to, im sure they will work with me. The next payment day comes Im a little short of the 2 weeks payment. And they dont take any payment out at all. So im figuring its all good they are giving me some time to pay it since they car wasn't running for a week and they messed up my payments by taking it 3 days early. So the day of my second weeks due date when they didnt take any payments out at all , a guy shows up to pick up the rental. Saying I haven't paid it for month, which was a lie, and saying they could press charges. I'm absolutely fuming because I had no car for a week. They apparently still charged me that whole week and they tool the payment 3 days before it was due. And on top of that, they guy they would work with me and apparently he lied. So they will take payments out before they are due. They will make you pay for days when the car isn't running. And they will lie to you and say they will work with, meanwhile they are reporting you to authorities and possibly to credit bureaus. Worst experience I've ever had with a rental company. And when I called after they came to pick up the car, the guy I spoke to was basically like well sorry we dont work with anyone on payments, your payment is your payment even if you don't have the car because its being worked on. And basically he said sorry we can't rent to you anymore
