I contacted their customer service and they were even worse. They told me that I have to pay almost triple for what I had reserved. The man behind the counter walked away and left us standing here. He was either high or on drugs. Nobody bothered to reach out to us to apologize. We ended up renting another vehicle for more money but the service was amazing. I will NEVER use hertz again.

I asked the front desk, and she said he'll be back. I am waiting till almost 6pm while on the phone with Hertz and Expedia to receive a full credit. But the worse of it all, I was left stranded without a car. I needed the car because I have to be somewhere at 6am in the morning and NO chance to rent a car anywhere. THIS is absolutely poor customer service. I WILL NEVER USE HERTZ AGAIN. BUYERS BE WARE!!!! Especially at JW MARRIOTT

Today is an absolute disaster from a customer service standpoint they had no cars. The manager special was for a Chevy bolt in which case no instructions were given on how long it would go where the charging stations are just an absolute disaster from a customer service standpoint. They had a really nice kid working there at one point that was very customer focused. We switched spots then they went back and from that point on it’s been a disaster Hertz customer service is at all time low.

Very respectful counter agent who goes above and beyond for customers. A lot of these customers are very rude and act out a certain way towards him when he keeps it respectful and professional. Got there right after opening just to be told by a young non-caring employee that “he had called me” (at 08:08 am for an 08:00 am reservation) to tell me they had no gas cars available, only EVs. This wasn’t going to work for my day trip to the grand canyon due to charging times and availability. I told him, if he could coordinate to find me a gas car to another location and he said I had to call corporate. Since it was paid already, I told him I wanted to get refunded and he said I would have to call corporate. So what do you say you do here? Ahh yes, mindlessly hand keys over (or not) without putting an ounce of effort into the job. A better managed office with employees who actually cared (and were paid to use their brain), would have looked at the end of the day (5pm) how many gas car rentals they had for the next day and realize that they didn’t have enough rentals coming in that day, including late returns, to fulfill their reservations their next day. And maybe they can call said customers to let them know if an EV substitution would be okay. If not, then at least the customer would have enough time to coordinate (the evening before) to make alternate arrangements.Instead…we had to scramble to find a rental car last min so we wouldn’t lose hundreds of dollars in tickets. Never mind the $50 in uber rides to go to said Hertz office just to be told late that they had no gas cars for my prepaid reservation.By the way, I wasn’t the only one. While I was there, he called at least 3-4 more customers to tell them they didn’t have gas cars. So again, poor planning and execution because employees and management of this office just don’t seem to care.This experience will definitely made me think twice about renting with Hertz again. Enterprise can take my money….
