Hertz Car Rental - Las Vegas - Resorts World Introduce
For residents of Nevada, particularly those in the bustling heart of Las Vegas, the need for a rental car can arise for various reasons – whether it’s for a weekend getaway, a temporary replacement for a personal vehicle, or convenient transportation for out-of-town guests. While a global brand like Hertz might seem like a straightforward choice, understanding the specifics of individual locations is key to a smooth experience. This article focuses on the Hertz Car Rental branch located within Resorts World at 3000 Las Vegas Blvd S, aiming to provide a clear, engaging, and factual overview from the perspective of a local Nevadan user.
Las Vegas offers a multitude of car rental options, but a location directly on the iconic Strip, such as the one at Resorts World, presents a unique set of advantages and considerations. While the allure of convenience is strong, it's important to be well-informed about the operational nuances of such a prominent branch. Our goal is to equip you with the knowledge to make an informed decision for your car rental needs, based on available public information and customer experiences.
We will explore the specific details of the Hertz branch at 3000 Las Vegas Blvd S, including its strategic placement within Resorts World, the range of services it typically offers as part of the Hertz network, its unique features, and essential contact information. Critically, we will also incorporate real customer feedback to provide a balanced and transparent view, highlighting both potential benefits and areas that might require extra attention from renters.
Navigating car rentals, especially in a dynamic city like Las Vegas, can sometimes be more complex than anticipated. By focusing on this particular Hertz location, we hope to streamline your decision-making process, offering insights into what a local user might expect. Understanding these details can help you plan your rental more effectively and avoid potential frustrations, ensuring your journey across Nevada is as smooth as possible.
Whether you're picking up a car for a business trip, a family outing, or just to enjoy the freedom of the open road, a thorough understanding of your chosen rental location is invaluable. Let's delve into what the Hertz Car Rental at Resorts World has in store for you.
The Hertz Car Rental at Resorts World is strategically located at 3000 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109, USA. This places it directly on the world-famous Las Vegas Strip, making it exceptionally convenient for anyone staying at Resorts World or any of the neighboring properties. For locals, this central Strip location offers a unique blend of accessibility and potential challenges.
Being within Resorts World, a major integrated resort, means it’s well-connected by foot if you are already in the immediate vicinity. Public transportation, such as the RTC's Deuce bus service and the Las Vegas Monorail (with a station at Resorts World), provides easy access from other parts of the Strip or even downtown Las Vegas. For locals driving their personal vehicles to pick up a rental, parking might be available within the Resorts World complex, though it's always advisable to confirm parking arrangements and any associated fees directly with the resort or Hertz.
However, customer feedback indicates a potential challenge regarding the physical visibility and signage of the Hertz counter within the vast casino property. One review explicitly states, "There were literally no signs anywhere that there was a Hertz location inside the casino. I stood at an innocuous counter that had a small branded HERTZ sign FOR ABOUT A HALF AN HOUR." This suggests that while the address is on the Strip, finding the exact rental counter might require prior research or asking for directions upon arrival at the resort. This is an important consideration for locals who might not be familiar with every corner of Resorts World.
Despite potential initial navigation difficulties within the resort, the overall accessibility of a Strip location remains a strong point for many Nevadans. It eliminates the need for a separate trip to the airport car rental center for those already in the city, offering a more direct pick-up experience for those who plan accordingly.
Standard Vehicle Rentals: As part of the global Hertz network, this location generally offers a range of standard vehicle categories, including economy, compact, mid-size, full-size sedans, SUVs, and minivans. While specific availability can vary, the aim is to provide options for diverse travel needs, from economical daily commutes to spacious vehicles for family trips around Nevada.
Online Reservations and Management: Customers can book their vehicles in advance through the Hertz website or mobile app. This allows for pre-selection of vehicle types, optional add-ons, and payment, designed to streamline the pick-up process. Modifications and cancellations are typically handled online or through their customer service channels.
One-Way Rentals: Hertz, including its Las Vegas locations, generally facilitates one-way rentals, allowing customers to pick up a vehicle at Resorts World and return it to a different Hertz location, either elsewhere in Las Vegas, across Nevada, or in another state. This offers significant flexibility for varied travel plans.
Optional Add-ons and Protections: Renters typically have the option to include GPS navigation systems, child safety seats, and additional drivers. Various protection plans, such as Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) and Liability Insurance Supplement (LIS), are usually available to provide coverage against potential damages, theft, or liability during the rental period. It's always crucial to review these options carefully against your personal insurance coverage.
Hertz Gold Plus Rewards Program: For frequent renters, the Gold Plus Rewards program offers benefits like expedited service, the ability to bypass the counter at select locations, and opportunities to earn points for free rental days and upgrades. While the effectiveness of counter bypass at a specific hotel location can vary based on setup, the program generally aims to enhance convenience.
Premium Strip Location: The primary highlight is its placement within Resorts World on the Las Vegas Strip. This offers immense convenience for guests staying at the resort or nearby, providing immediate access to a rental car without needing to travel to the airport or off-Strip locations. For locals already on the Strip, it can be a convenient pick-up point.
Hertz Brand Assurance (in theory): As a globally recognized brand, Hertz carries an expectation of a certain standard of vehicle quality and maintenance, alongside established policies and customer support channels. This brand recognition can provide an initial sense of reliability for renters.
Variety of Vehicle Types: While not specializing in exotic cars, this Hertz location, like others, provides a broad selection of vehicle classes. This allows renters to choose a car that best suits their needs, from fuel-efficient sedans for city driving to larger SUVs for longer trips across Nevada's diverse terrain.
Potential for Smooth Transactions (when operational effectively): While specific customer experiences vary, the general aim of Hertz locations is to provide a seamless rental process, from reservation to vehicle pick-up. When operations run smoothly, customers can expect quick transactions.
Resort Amenities Access: Being located within Resorts World means renters have access to the amenities of a major resort while picking up or dropping off their car, including dining options, restrooms, and other conveniences.

It is highly recommended to call the branch directly to confirm current operating hours, specific vehicle availability, and to inquire about any particular processes for pick-up and drop-off, especially given past customer feedback regarding signage and counter staffing.
For residents of Nevada, the Hertz Car Rental location at Resorts World on 3000 Las Vegas Blvd S presents a mix of advantages and important considerations. On the one hand, its prime Strip location offers unparalleled convenience for locals who might already be in the area for leisure, work, or events. This avoids the need for a separate trip to the often-busier airport car rental facility, making it a potentially quick and easy pick-up point if you're already in the heart of the action. The variety of vehicles typically available within the Hertz fleet also caters to a wide range of local needs, from a compact car for city errands to an SUV for exploring Nevada's natural beauty on a weekend.
However, it is crucial for locals to be fully aware of the experiences shared by other customers to manage expectations. The recurring issues cited in reviews, such as difficulty finding the counter due to lack of signage, unstaffed desks, and significant problems with return processing leading to unauthorized charges and poor customer support, are serious concerns. For a local, dealing with such issues can be particularly frustrating, impacting not just a trip but also personal finances and time. The reports of communication breakdowns, unreturned calls, and a lack of follow-up on disputed charges highlight a potential disconnect in customer service at this specific location, or potentially at a broader corporate level when issues arise from this branch.
Therefore, while the physical location is undeniably convenient for many Nevadans, suitability hinges heavily on meticulous planning and proactive steps. If considering this Hertz branch, locals are strongly advised to:
- Call ahead to confirm operational status and exact counter location within Resorts World.
- Document every step of the rental process, including pick-up and drop-off. Take timestamped photos or videos of the vehicle's condition (inside and out) and the odometer at both pick-up and return.
- Insist on a physical or immediate digital receipt upon return, and ensure the return process is formally completed in your presence, if possible.
- Monitor your credit card statements diligently for any unexpected or erroneous charges.
- Keep all communication records (emails, phone call logs with dates/times/names) in case disputes arise.
In summary, the Hertz Car Rental at Resorts World offers a convenient Strip location and the broad fleet of a major brand, making it physically suitable for many local Nevadans. However, the consistent negative feedback regarding post-rental issues and customer support demands a heightened level of caution and proactive documentation from renters. For a local, preparedness and diligence will be key to ensuring a smooth experience at this specific Hertz branch.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Do NOT rent from Hertz – Unjust charges and zero customer supportRenting a car from Hertz at Resorts World Las Vegas was one of the worst decisions of our trip. We rented the car on June 7, 2025, and returned it that same day, exactly as instructed: we parked it in the same spot where we picked it up.Two weeks later, Hertz charged us as if we had returned the car two weeks late. They took our deposit and added extra fees for a supposed late return — which never happened.Since then, we’ve done everything to get a response:• Sent three follow-up emails with no reply• Called multiple times, only to be told they’ll get back to us in 24–48 hours — which they never do• Tried their online chat — no resolution, no follow-upIt’s unacceptable for a company like Hertz to treat customers like this — unauthorized charges and complete silence when you ask for answers. If you value your money and your peace of mind, stay away from Hertz.
Jun 26, 2025 · Luis AguilarIf I could give this location less than one star I would. I booked a reservation through Expedia and I prepaid. I went to Resorts World to pick up the car and thankfully the taxi driver knew where to drop me off. There were literally no signs anywhere that there was a Hertz location inside the casino.I stood at an innocuous counter that had a small branded HERTZ sign FOR ABOUT A HALF AN HOUR. There was no one there. There was a small sign that said to call a number for service. No one answered. Finally a man emerged from the parking lot elevator. I received keys from him and we completed the transaction. I went up to the fifth floor where the car was located and from there everything was fine. Here's the problem... after I return the car the following Wednesday June 25th, returning to the car to the fifth floor of self parking at exactly the time agreed in the contract. I go downstairs to that same desk really a small kiosk.. I give the keys to a woman behind the counter who has a name tag and apparently represents Hertz to finalize the return. The car was completely clean and I had charged it since it was electric past the 90% which is what it was at the time of pickup, she says she will finish and send me an invoice, nothing else needed from me. I've used Hertz for years and I know that you often just get an email with your final bill and invoice. The car is parked on the 5th floor where I was told to park it and the kiosk is on the first floor of the resort. So she would have to go back up there. At no point did she say we should go up there together to make sure everything was in order. I'm assuming our transaction is over here.. so I waste some time until I get a Lyft to get to the airport. Fly home never get an invoice in my email.. okay finally a few days go by. I get an urgent message from Hertz that I haven't returned the car. That I am overdue by returning the car.. by almost a week. So I call corporate. Finally after about a 2-hour phone call I find out that that woman never processed the return. They still have me as having had the car. Now of course I have video and pictures to the contrary. Not only that but I am now physically in a completely different city.Today I notice that my credit card was charged on the 4th for almost the same amount that I had prepaid.I don't think you can trust these people!I called the number that no one ever answers and told them that they need to call me immediately and I want that invoice.I have no idea what they charged me for.Mind you this is a prepaid car rental through Expedia. No one there knows what they're doing and if they do know what they're doing they're doing it wrong and cannot be trusted.I'm really pissed. I'm very patient with people but now I have lost it with them. And HERTZ has lost me as a customer.Do not rent a car from the Hertz location in Resorts World. MAYBE JUST NOT FROM HERTZ PERIOD.
Jul 05, 2025 · Katrina SalinasI am Hertz Presidents Circle member I can assure you this is one of the Best Hertz in the country. New Clean Low mileage Cars great staff and service. Easy pick up and late drop off options via Box. Convenient location at entrance of Garage elevators. Everything u need in a good Rental
Jun 26, 2025 · GAUTAM LILLANEYWorst car rental experience in my life. Customer service is the worst I have experienced. The company would not honor a reservation due to a flight delay. Furthermore, they claimed that they did not charge my card for the reservation. That was a lie. I guess that is what I get for saving a few bucks. Avoiding Hertz for all future rentals.
May 24, 2025 · Jose CastilloI had a great experience renting a car for a day trip to Valley of Fire State Park. It can be a little confusing to find the rental desk but just look near the theater next to the Starbucks, there should be signs posted to help guide you.The desk agent was very kind and quickly hooked me up with the car that we reserved. After hours drop off was also a breeze, you just need to make sure you enter the same garage that you left and take a ticket (which you don't need to validate since you're just dropping off the car)
