I should have had an idea that this request on the weekend before a holiday would not be able to go through however, this was my first time booking a rental car so I have no prior experience. So I reserved a car (so I thought) and received several emails and texts messages confirming and reminding me of my upcoming reservation. On the day of my reservation, I took 2 buses and travelled two hours to the Hertz on Laurel to pick up my car and head home. However, when I got there I gave the woman working my name and she immediately told me she probably wouldn’t be able to get me a car. Naive, I sat and waited to be told more details but only heard conversations between employees about my request and basically how obscene it was. At this point I still was not told anything and just chose to sit down and wait for a direct answer. Finally, one of the women working told me quietly I would not be able to get a car because they didn’t have enough to service my request. The reason why my rating is so low is because I was not able to get a car and also because I feel like this could have easily been addressed via phone call, text message, or email hour or even days prior to me traveling all the way to the rental place. I am beyond frustrated and will never book with this Hertz EVER again. 0/10 experience

While I was there, I saw other customers go through the same disrespectful treatment — long waits, lack of communication, and rude behavior from staff. It was clear that we were not treated with the basic respect and dignity that every human being, let alone a paying customer, deserves.Because of this,I do not see myself ever doing business with your location again, and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE READING THIS REVIEW.Terrible customer service. I arrived at 10 AM to pick up a car I had reserved online, checked in, and was left waiting for over two hours with no clear communication. When I asked about the process, the employees were rude and sarcastic, showing no willingness to explain anything. One even told me, ‘We don’t work for Uber, so we don’t care how long you wait.’ After all that time, I was informed that the car I had reserved had been rented out to someone else. To make it worse, I was asked to leave the store because I had reserved through Uber’s driver program and was treated as less of a customer than others. Completely unprofessional, unwelcoming, and disrespectful experience.

Some of them were very impatient and rude, however Kia and Ulbert kept a positive attitude the entire 3 hours that I was there. They were very helpful, kind, and obviously doing the best that they could. I appreciate their time and service. For this Hertz to have just been relocated about a week ago, I think they are doing great. Thank you!

I hope Hertz company will fire all the people at this location because I will never rent from this location again. I came at 8:15AM and there was already 3 people waiting because they just opened and their computers did not boot up. They asked me to sit down and waited like 10min for them to bring their reservation system up, and finally told me that they ran out of car, so they did not have a car for me even Hertz texted me the day before confirming my reservation. I was very upset and complained that my plan was ruined because did not have a car, they showed the attitude that I should not raise my voice and their reservation was not guaranteed and only if they have availability. Maybe they try to overbook? I am a Hertz gold member and only run into this issue at this location. What a crappy business and poor workers at this location.

I have been renting here for nearly two months bc my dealer does not provide a loaner and it’s been the most stressful experience. Suraj is cool he’s very helpful he helped me switch into a vehicle similar to the one that I have space wise. Other than that the way that no one answers the phone is frustrating especially when having to call to extend the rental. I’ve also had 3 cars here and every last one of them has an issue or needs something fixed or replaced. The cars are also dirty inside and out. I will say renting with enterprise is way smoother and I hope I never have to do this again because it’s beyond inconvenient. The whole voucher situation to fix problems on the car none of the places I was instructed to take the vehicle could verify the voucher and also it’s just been a terrible experience.
