The time pass for me to return the rental vehicle back. And when I did, I noticed I got charged $200 and I don’t know exactly for what because I refilled the tank to full and also wash the car from the interior and the exterior. I don’t feel it’s fair for me to be charged for anything. I need somebody to contact me from that office to return my money back.

I rented a car through GMC while my own vehicle was in for warranty repairs. When I picked up the rental, the staff assured me that all costs were covered by GMC, including partial insurance, and encouraged me to accept it.Later, I found out that the insurance was not included. I immediately chat with them on March 28 through their website and the agent said to call the number 800-552-8482, which I did on April 3rd to cancel it, and the representative confirmed that it had been cancelled from my rental. Despite this, I was still charged nearly $720 for the coverage I was explicitly told had been cancelled.I feel that I was misled and taken advantage of, possibly because English is not my first language. I trusted the information provided by the Hertz staff, and that trust was clearly misplaced. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will seek legal action for misrepresentation and negligence.I do not recommend this Hertz location. Be very cautious.
May 20, 2025 · Gabriela FerrazSuper disappointed in our experience with this location. The car we rented had no AC and the weather was 85-90 degrees while we traveled. When we returned it, we expressed this to the manager. Instead of even trying to talk with us about the experience he immediately got defensive and asked why we didn’t take “five minutes” to exchange it near where we’d traveled. Not only is that extremely inconvenient, but we all know it would have taken more than five minutes to exchange and we hardly had time to breathe while we were away. So this truly wouldn’t have been a plausible solution. After realizing that the AC in fact didn’t work, he offered to comp us one day (~$40). We were grateful for just an acknowledgement of our frustrations. But, of course, we check our card when the car rental was closed out and we were comped $17, hardly half of a day, and charged for fuel when we absolutely returned the vehicle full of gas.. Wouldn’t recommend this location at all.
May 12, 2025 · Dani HarrisI am absolutely appalled by the complete unprofessional experience that I received from the Hertz car rental location at 311 County Line Rd. in Littleton Colorado. To start with I reserved a car online one week before my rental was to take place. When I dropped my car off at the dealership for Repair they reached out to Hertz and said that I would be picked up in 10 minutes or so. After 40 minutes of waiting, I called and an extremely rude lady by the name of Stacy, I believe left me on hold over 10 minutes then proceeded to say that because I was paying out of pocket they would not come pick me up, she said hey only pick up for insurance customers, I ask what was the difference? Money is money regardless who’s paying for it? I’m still renting a car there. She finally agreed to have someone come pick me up at the dealership, The gentleman who picks me up apologized profusely for her rudeness on the phone. When I get to the Hertz rental counter. I was given a Kia Soul as my rental car . I explained that I had reserved a full size premium sedan and question why I was getting a Kia soul. She rudely said that that’s all we have and asked do you want the car or not? When I explained I had reserved it a week prior online she said well. website is wrong. We don't have premium sedans . The gentleman sitting next to her, saw that I was becoming frustrated and said check back in two days and I will find you something better to drive. I had no choice but to leave in the tiny box car Kia soul. On the second day I went back to hopefully change out the car for what I had actually reserved a week prior and was told they had nothing to offer and maybe check back tomorrow. I drove up the street to Enterprise Rent-A-Car and they were more than pleasant. Said they absolutely had a full size sedan that I could have immediately and apologized for what I had experienced From Hertz. I gassed up the the Kia Soul and took it back to Hertz and explained since they could not fulfill their contract. I was going to just simply return the car pay for the two days that I drove their car and call it good. . The man behind the counter could have cared less that I was returning the car and going else ware. He proceeded with my closing out of the contract and then handed me a receipt for more than double the amount on my rental agreement.. When I questioned the dollar amount going from $28 a day to $70 a day he said well it’s because you canceled your contract. I said the only reason I canceled my contract is because Hertz could not provide the car that I had reserved. He said that’s not my problem because you broke the contract we have to charge you a higher rate. He said if I was unhappy with that, I could call an 800 number which I have proceeded to call three times today to no avail. Sitting on terminal hold, after what I experienced I’m guessing that the customer service line is overwhelmed with complaints and that’s why the hood time is so excessive and nobody ever answers. This is just another page of the downfall of Hertz rental. Hertz proceeded to charge my credit card more than double the rate that was contracted. His only explanation was that I canceled the contract, therefore, the rate was higher. I again explained the reason I was canceling the contract as they could not provide the car that I had reserved. Keep in mind when I pick the car up I explained that I had rented the car for a week and one day with the estimate that if my car were finished earlier, I could bring it back and they said no problem now today he’s trying to tell me that because I canceled the contract that they could not fulfill that I got charged a higher rate. Makes no sense to me. I cannot believe in this day and age that a business can be so extremely unprofessional. I caution anybody read all of the reviews online before you rent from this location. It’s sad that people like this are allowed to be in business. It Hurts to rent from Hertz
Mar 19, 2025 · Brad BHad to rent a vehicle thru this outfit due to GMC vehicle engine replacement. Tried to charge me directly instead of GMC. Billing me for double the cost of gas when it wasnt given to me with a full tank. Not very helpful when calling their number and had to call several time to get thru to anyone. Not impressed and would steer clear for personal use.
