Looking at the google reviews, it seems this is a recurring theme at this location. If you’re trying to get on the road quickly, I do not recommend this Hertz location.

Even though I drive a newer vehicle at home, I was not used to the functions of the vehicle I rented and took me a bit to get used to them - like how to operate the wipers, something I don’t use much in AZ. The vehicle worked well for us and we were very satisfied. Seeing my name on board and going directly to the lot to select my vehicle was very nice and time saving effort. Return was easy and was able to get on my way with minimal effort.Next rental in about 30 days for next trip to East Coast and surely my Hertz rental experience will be just as pleasant and effortless. Upon arriving at the airport at which I reserved a car for my honeymoon, I was met with an unbelievable crowd.I got in line and waited. And waited. And waited some more. 2+ hours later, I finally made it to the desk. Then I waited some more. I then learned that not only were there no cars to meet the reservations (not sure if they understand what a reservation is), but there was no one taking cars that were being returned. Cars were supposedly being abandoned in the street so that people could catch their flight. The whole thing was completely uncomfortable. I was already tired, hungry, thirsty, and desperate to get to my final destination. It was an abomidable experience.When I finally won the lottery and got my car, I was so excited to get out of there - it wasn't until I left that I realized I was overcharged. But no way I was going back to that mess. I figured they would fix it when I turned the car it. Nope. I was charged an additional fee once I brought the car back.After the mess I experienced I was expecting a discount, not a fee.Never making this mistake again!!
