It took me an hr to pick it up the car and get the code to the lock box etc. The instructions difficulty was unnecessary. Less than 30 mins into my trip, the car started overheating. How? The car was low on oil and coolant. Which a mechanic was sent to my location and he refilled all of those things, but it took an hour of waiting. Brakes on the vehicle was terrible 😞. The brakes of the vehicle squeal more than anything. Of course thru said they changed it but didn’t.As time went on, I literally realized that I was being tracked. I know that this is Turo and I know that drivers are allowed to have trackers on their vehicle. But active tracker like Apple AirTag is prohibited according to Turo privacy and security policies. I brought my concern up to the house and let him know that I'm not comfortable with having an AirTag in the vehicle. This company showed no concern about or cared. I know that active AirTag was allowed before but January 31 of 2025. It became prohibited. Their claim was “it was put in the Pre-trip text”. Which should not be considered “Pre-Trip” text because you sending me 3 paragraphs of information and a congratulatory message 7 hrs before my trip is crazy. Then within those long ass paragraph say they will be tracking the car. BUT THEY NEVER MENTION USING AIRTAG as their tracker. I brought that up to the host. It was ignored. As time went on in my trip it just became more and more uncomfortable because as family and friends got into the vehicle as we went to dinner or places, everyone knew where I was where I have been and how long l've been there. And that is pretty scary because anyone that has access to the AirTag or comes within 2 feet of me can have access to that AirTag. I voiced my opinion over and over to the host.I reported this host to turo and the police, I forgot to mention that in my turo review. Will never be booking.

He accused me of cracking his windshield which I fought the case with evidence & won but the process itself caused my account to be disabled putting a hole into my earnings for an entire year. Right then & there I knew he wouldn’t get far & fast forward 5 years later -well well well Michael, the reviews on your business are very much consistent reflection of the type of person you are overall. 💋

It looked closed and he didn't answer any calls. Once he showed he didn't greet me and one of the first things he said was for me to "speak proper English" as he was holding my id to check me into the vehicle. He then called the police after I cussed him out for sayin that. Outside of that, the check out process is extremely long.
Nov 08, 2022 · AnansiDon't ever come to this store to rent a car, this store I would say is that first not only does the front desk have a bad attitude, you can read other people's reviews, this is definitely not slanderous, this front desk is talking to you with a very aggressive attitude that will ruin your day, trust me, don't come to this rental car. Secondly, you will get a broken car and then they will ask you to pay for the repair, so you will have to pay for something you didn't do, which is outrageous, this is a real shady store and they will find a way to take every penny out of your wallet. So if you have any sense, trust me and stay away from this store!

This is my first time writing a review as I feel compelled to share the lack of respect and care from the host. Pick-up time was 8AM and I arrived a few minutes early. When it was past 8AM, I didn't hear anything from the host. Rather, I see him taking the car for a carwash across him me. Again, no contact. When I finally saw him around 8:10, he was assisting another customer during my pick-up and said he would be right with me. Right after that, he completely disappeared into the abyss and didn't return till 30 minutes later. Upon finally arriving, I expressed I would have appreciated if he could have communicated that he would be long and not arriving at 8AM. As soon as I expressed this, I was met with utter disregard and disrespect towards my time and money. He was completely rude, condescending and disrespectful during our interaction and did not want to be held accountable for his lack of communication and punctuality. He did not seem apologetic and even had the audacity to call me "unappreciative" to deflect from his own actions. I missed an event at 9AM because of him. If he was unable to do the booking, then please communicate that. I would have happily booked elsewhere. He was not present at the time of drop-off. When I posted this review on Turo, Michael harassed me continuously by sending me inappropriate messages attempting to insult and belittle me. He also fabricated his response to my review in retaliation. I had to report him several times to Turo Support. Executive Support stepped in. Beware of hosts like this to save your valuable time and money.
