Ok.Arrived on time then Waited in line at DEN branch for 1 hour. No car available. Many people waiting in line and others waiting for their car to arrive.I asked if I could cancel because I was going to be late, thinking I might make it on time with an uber, and Sajan said to just tell Expedia that I did not get the car I wanted and I would get my $50 reservation fee back.I requested some kind of receipt to verify with Expedia and he refused. I got home and my Visa card was charged for a car for the whole weekend. I never signed for a car and never got one. Took Ubers all weekend instead. But still got charged AS IF I had received a Kia.Sajan (?) could not give me a Corp Payless phone number or anything to use as confirmation that I DID show up on time for my reservation. I took a photo of the Payless office so I would have proof that I DID show up. He yelled at me and then told me I was NOT allowed to use the Payless shuttle back to the import. Then he charged me for the whole reservation after I left.I will never use Payless at DEN airport again. They poorly manage their car pool. Switching back to Enterprise. The extra $30 would have been worth it.First photo taken at 5 pm, second one at 6:07 pm after I got to the counter, where people were interrupting us (one to report damaged car) and he was on a radio in the middle of our transaction. Only 2 people at the res desks. I had prepayed via Expedia. Never again.

When presented with my agreement, I informed the agent that the Kia Niro that I was being given was classified as an Intermediate EV on their website and that I prepaid and reserved a Standard ELITE EV. The agent looked at me speechless for a moment and lied to me saying “it’s a standard.” Because i was not 100% sure i planned on verifying this at the my hotel.The vehicle was not even delivered to the entrance as a courtesy. I had to ask where it was parked and upon finding it, it was covered in snow; which I had to clean off myself.Upon returning, I still had not received my final receipt for 2 days. When I called in, I was informed that the rental was still open and a request was submitted to close it out.This was, without a doubt, the worst experience I have ever had with a rental company.Being deceived about the vehicle class is what infuriates me the most, its written in their T&C. Something they have total disregard for, obviously. Stay away from this place and actually enjoy your travel.

I was given another vehicle with the excuse: “same price, bigger car.” Not true.• The next day, the car broke down with a check engine warning light. Mechanical failure.• I contacted support. It was a nightmare—long calls, no answers, no responsibility.• They sent a tow truck but told me I had to go with the tow truck for 40+ minutes to get a replacement. Absurd. I refused.• No replacement car was provided. I had to use Uber at my own expense and cancel important meetings.• They promised a refund for one day. Never delivered.• Then they had the nerve to send me a coupon. I will never rent from them again.• Worst of all: no one communicates internally. I had to explain my case to three different agents and still got generic answers.⚠️ I lost time, money, peace of mind, and received no fair solution. This is the most disorganized, irresponsible company I’ve dealt with.If you’re thinking of renting from Payless—don’t. You’ll regret it.

I dropped my car at 5:45am and there was literally not a single employee there to check you out. Everyone was just leaving their cars in a line with the key in it and getting on the shuttle to leave, so I did as wellThree days later they finally close my rental, and give me a receipt for almost $500 in extra charges for it being "late". Talking to their customer service is infuriating. Beware.

They shouldn't put people like that working in a place that serves the public... we rented a Jeep, and they wanted to give us a Kia... very rude!Our bus arrived very late to the airport to pick us up... bad service
