RideShare Carz Introduce
For Houston-based entrepreneurs and gig-economy workers, securing a reliable vehicle without the burden of ownership is a critical factor for success. RideShare Carz positions itself as a specialized car rental agency catering specifically to the needs of drivers working for platforms like Uber, Lyft, Postmates, InstaCart, and DoorDash, as well as those needing a flexible personal or business rental. Operating within the dynamic Texas economy, this service is designed to remove the high barriers of entry—such as vehicle wear-and-tear, maintenance costs, and insurance complications—that often limit drivers' earning potential.
The core value proposition of RideShare Carz is to provide a 'rideshare-ready' vehicle fleet with simplified processes and inclusive features. Their service aims to be a cost-effective alternative to traditional rental companies, focusing on the driver who needs a car for their daily earning activities. They market themselves as offering some of the lowest rideshare rental prices in the area, providing vehicles that are fully compatible with all major delivery and rideshare platforms. By offering flexible terms—including daily and weekly rentals—they seek to give Texas drivers the freedom to manage their income and schedule on their own terms.
However, potential customers should proceed with caution and verify all terms. While some customer feedback is positive about specific staff and the benefits offered, another highly visible review details significant issues: a chaotic pickup process, a deposit that was initially deemed non-refundable despite a service failure, and, most alarmingly, a car described as being in an unsanitary and disgusting condition upon attempted collection. This polarizing feedback suggests a company with potential but also with notable inconsistencies in its operations and customer service execution that drivers should be mindful of.
RideShare Carz is located in a highly accessible area of Houston, Texas, making it convenient for local drivers to manage their rental logistics. The facility is situated to allow for efficient pick-up and return processes.
Address: 5907 Star Ln, Houston, TX 77057, USA
The 77057 ZIP code places the agency near key residential and business districts in West Houston, and its location supports the travel demands of rideshare and delivery drivers operating across the vast Houston metropolitan area. A key accessibility feature noted in their public information is the provision of a wheelchair-accessible parking lot, indicating an effort toward accommodating all clients. For payment, the agency accepts both credit cards and debit cards, offering flexibility for drivers managing cash flow.
While the physical location is accessible, customers should note the reported issues with the logistical execution of reservations. The review indicating that the staff was "clueless" about a scheduled reservation upon arrival and had to scramble to find an available vehicle suggests that the internal organization regarding bookings may require more rigor. Drivers are strongly advised to confirm their reservations multiple times—both verbally and in writing—before the scheduled pick-up time to mitigate potential delays and complications.
RideShare Carz focuses its services primarily on supporting the mobile workforce in Texas, offering specialized features tailored for continuous, high-mileage use in the gig economy.

- Inclusive Pricing Model: Rent includes insurance, maintenance, and unlimited hired-trip mileage, providing a clear, fixed operating cost for drivers.
- Competitive Price Matching: The company claims to match the best rideshare rental prices in the local area to attract and retain cost-sensitive drivers.
- Accessibility: Accepts both credit and debit card payments, broadening the pool of drivers who can access their services.
- Potential for Good Service: Individual staff members, such as "Miles and Collins," are noted by customers for being helpful and "cool," indicating a capacity for excellent, driver-focused service.
- Vehicle Variety: The fleet includes various vehicle types, including XL options and potentially newer models like a 2024 car (as mentioned in a review), to meet different rideshare category requirements.
To inquire about vehicle availability, rental requirements, or to resolve an ongoing service issue, current and prospective drivers in the Houston region can contact the agency using the following information.

For a Texas resident looking to enter or stay active in the Houston gig-economy driving scene, RideShare Carz presents a proposition centered on minimizing long-term financial risk. The primary draw is the all-inclusive nature of the weekly rental rate: unlimited rideshare miles, basic maintenance, and insurance coverage are major factors that significantly reduce a driver's out-of-pocket operating expenses and provide predictable budgeting. The flexibility of short-term rentals, allowing drivers to rent a car only when they need it, is also a highly valuable feature, especially for part-time or seasonal drivers. The company's focus on accommodating various rideshare and delivery platforms is a practical benefit for drivers who use multiple apps to maximize earnings.
However, it is crucial to temper this appeal with the serious concerns raised by customer feedback. The reported instability in policies—specifically the last-minute changes to personal mileage fees and the quick deadline to accept or decline, as mentioned by one long-term driver—suggests a need for extreme vigilance regarding rental agreements and fee structures. More critically, the account of being presented with a severely unsanitary vehicle, coupled with difficulty in obtaining a full deposit refund despite refusing the car, highlights a potential risk in service quality and deposit retention practices. The existence of a reported discount for giving a "good review" also suggests that not all positive feedback may reflect the true, unfiltered customer experience.
Therefore, the decision to choose RideShare Carz should be made with clear eyes. The company offers a competitive and comprehensive package for professional drivers. For this to be a successful partnership, drivers must adopt a proactive approach: document the vehicle condition thoroughly before accepting the keys (pictures and videos are highly recommended), confirm all fee structures and mileage policies in writing, and use the included contact methods aggressively if any aspect of the service is substandard or non-compliant with the agreement. When the service works well, as attested by some, it is a great tool for maximizing earnings; when it doesn't, the consequences can be costly and stressful, making thorough due diligence a non-negotiable part of the rental process.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Ok so this is how my review started...."Chama is absolutely adorable and super helpful. She is super helpful and guided me through the entire process in reserving my Uber rideshare vehicle. I can't wait to pick up my car today. Thanks Chama, girl you ROCK! ~ERIKA"But it is NOT how it finished.Y'all I went to pick up my car, did everything that was requested. Chama, over the phone, initially charged my card a $100 deposit to hold the car.Upon my arrival, Neq didn't know who I was, what car, but she ran round and found one from somewhere.Finds me in the system, we did all the signage, and she told me $187. Next I know I see I've been swiped another $100...for a total of $387. I'm making a long story short, upon going outside to take possession of the car with keys already in it, ready to go...when I opened the door I was DISGUSTED!!! Trey was like "I cleaned it the best I could"Needless to say I never took possession of the car or the keys. I went back in and expressed my disgust with Neq and she offered to take it somewhere in the morning to get it cleaned. Can you believe this car is a 2024. Whatever happened in this car was disgusting.I left the lot and b lined right back up in there and told her it's just not gone work out and canceled the deal. Y'all check the pics and tell me what y'all think. Neq said my deposit was non refundable. No ma'am!!! I need EVERY coin And I promise myself I'm coming for ALL MY MONEY BACK. WATCH OUT AND BUYER BEWARE...THE DECEPTION IS REALLY REALLY!!! I'm disappointed at the tactics used to lure customers. I told Neq, "people will open that door and cancel the ride...and I could forget about getting a tip". I'm still in shock this car in this condition is available for lease.Aside from all that, the ladies were kind. Not getting the quick response and communication I was bf but as long as ALL my money is returned I will move on and wish them well and hope they do better. They really could be a great company if the did some tweaking how they do business.Update: So my $287 finally posted yesterday but I'm yet to hear back on that $100 deposit to reserve the car. Again, the lady didn't have a car reserved for me when I went to pick up, and was clueless to my reservation...called Chama/Kendra then went scrambling to find this beautiful red pos on the lot from somewhere. Have yet to hear from the manager whom Neq said would call me the next day. One thing for sure, me and my voice recorder are besties for a reason. 😉 I think they use this car as bait to justify keeping your deposit, knowing you won't take that car looking like a crime scene. It is the exact car Chama/Kendra, (same person), said would be reserved for me. Mind you I got there before 5pm. They had all day to get a decent car for meThe pics ain't even close to the reality of seeing all those fluids on the seats. ABSOLUTELY NOT! Just DISGUSTING! 🤮 I'm still traumatized. I need to talk to my therapist ASAP.Oh and fyi...there is a discount to drivers for good review. So please don't believe the bs. Please refer to the beginning of this post to see what I said initially, based only off of phone conversation before pick up, as requested.
Feb 20, 2025 · Uber Driver TalesMiles and Collins is cool and look out for me. I love the unlimited miles for driving uber and Lyft and free maintenance. A few things I don't like is getting charge for toll and now getting charged for personal mile over 150 miles a week. To get unlimited personal miles you have to pay $99. The question is what happen if you get a trip going to Austin or San Antonio? Would you get charged for personal miles on the way back? I wish they would stop changing things at the last minute when it comes to fees. Us drivers don't need to be charge anymore fees due to Lyft and uber taking more profits away from us. If you keep doing this it will become a burden to other drivers and myself to rent from you. (According to my screenshot from Ridesharecarz it was late notice. Company gave me 15 mins to make a decision to do the unlimited miles or not. Text sent out to me 5:30 and gave me 5:45pm to make a decision)

Oct 09, 2025 · Don DaddaSo this is my honest review. I had tried several times to find a vehicle on the app. ( don’t bother because you have to go in. Didn’t know until another driver gave me insight. ) Finally called and reserved a vehicle. It went from $299wk to $443wk once I arrived plus $200 deposit plus $99 unlimited mile package which is charged the following week. Totaling a whopping $742. Plus tolls if you use them in which you can’t use your own ez tag you have to use theirs and they charge extra on top of the regular toll charge. The vehicle was ok. It did have a foul odor so I personally bought an air freshener and left it in the vehicle when I returned it. The battery did drain a good 10-15% overnight which I thought was odd because I rented a Telsa somewhere else and didn’t have that issue. Other than that it was cool. I washed and cleaned the vehicle as I do with all my rentals. It’s just a common courtesy in my opinion. At the end of the rental I received the unlimited mile invoice which was misdated and I sent an email requesting for the dates to be corrected and also verbally requested when I dropped it off as well. I was told that it would be corrected and re-sent. Unfortunately it was not and they never responded to any email I sent which was about 2. So don’t waste your time trying to email them either because they won’t respond. A month has gone by and I never received a response or refunded deposit in which I was only expecting $101 because of the $99 unlimited mile charge. I’m not going to waste my time emailing or calling because I’ll most likely just get a runaround if any response at all. So just be aware that communication will almost be nonexistent unless you’re in the office. Outside of that it’ll be crickets. Most likely won’t be renting again because the price gouging is at an all time high! Not just here but everywhere. $443 a week is astronomical! That’s $1,772 a month not including mileage ( $396 ) for the month. You’ll be better off going to a buy here pay here and pay $500-$600 a month for a car and use uber, Lyft, etc. to pay the bill because at that rate all you’ll have time to do is drive all day everyday. So that’s what it is in a nutshell.
Jun 25, 2025 · Zyad LopezNeq is awesome. Staff is cool. Pretty simple process. No issues whatsoever. Definitely prefer them over Avis or Hertz if you’re a ride share driver! 5 Stars!!
