They take some risk, if things don't work out you won't be refunded or compensated. In our case, they were supposed to pick us up from the cruise terminal, that didn't workout. Had to pay 25$ out of pocket for an Uber. Upon arrival, they gave us the wrong car. A car that wasn't "ready". No gas, dirty, no car seats or boosters which we had requested (travelling with 2 kids), defective ac. They promised they would take care of us, saying this was their mistake and they would provide compensation. The communications since have been very deceiving. We filed a claim with the credit card company. After they promised to compensate us if we cancelled the claim, we went ahead and cancelled the claim with the cc company out of good faith. Only to find out that they would ghost us. I'm not giving 1 star because we had a good experience with them the year before, but this time there was no effort to repair the damage and the deception was frustrating to say the least. I hope they change this way of doing business or other customers might be deceived as well.

Late the night before, we realized that many rental companies were either closed, had no suitable vehicles, or spoke Spanish. Having almost lost hope, I decided to contact SD Madison Rent a Car Miami via WhatsApp at 10 p.m.—and to my surprise, they responded!My manager, Santiago Diaz, happened to be incredibly kind and proactive. He replied promptly with courtesy and a clear understanding of our situation. Initially, he offered a sedan at a great quote, but since we needed a high-clearance, non-convertible vehicle, he quickly found an alternative. Within just a couple of minutes, he came back with a full-size SUV—a Toyota Highlander.The car was clean, provided with a full tank of gas, and even included two complimentary bottles of water. Santiago also kindly provided a child booster seat at no extra cost. You know, it’s these small gestures that make a difference.The handover process was smoothly. Returning the car was just as smooth—they picked it up within an hour.Everything about this experience was excellent. Thank you, Santiago! I highly recommend this company.

We hired the car for two days (in the middle of our stay) and were able to park it in the garage overnight free of charge. Our hotel parking would have charged us loads.Booking process took a good few messages and emails to confirm the details. Probably due to language barrier - English/ Spanish. And I think most people collect cars from the airport or port.But all worked out well. Thank you.

I've waited over a month to post this as they promised to give me a partial refund, which has not happened.We arranged to rent a car through this service after a cruise out of port Miami. The port was extremely busy the day we were waiting for our car, and this company was unable to secure an Uber to pick us up and take us to our car. We waited a couple of hours until I realized they were trying to get an Uber and not coming themselves. Eventually I secured an Uber myself and took it to the airport to pick up our car. I had opted to pick up the car at a location close to the port, but for some reason that location had suddenly closed. We paid $55 for the Uber (which was never refunded). Once we got to the car - which was parked in the airport parking (another $35 on me) - the car was dirty with other people's trash in and barely had any gas. The contact I had on Whatsapp was apologetic and said there would be a "refund." I followed up a couple of times to ask about the refund and agreed on a partial refund, which has yet to materialize. Buyer beware - not recommended at all.
