I had to Uber from my location to this location and in mid transit, a rep calls me to tell me he doesn't have any cars available and that he didn't see my reservation because "he was doing something else"; no apology, no resolutions. He had literally half a business shift to see it. I get to the counter anyway to see if other agencies have cars available and this guy from Avis is just sitting there with his air pods on not doing anything. Awful service. Definitely don't recommend.Update 6/10/25: to add more fuel to the fire these people went ahead and charged my card for the reservation anyway DESPITE ME NOT RECEIVING ANY VEHICLE FROM THEM. AWFUL 0/10. STAY FAR AWAY. Will be disputing the charge.Update: 6/16/25: I emailed them as requested and all they could tell me was that they couldn't guarantee me a car if it was less than 48 hours, which again isn't my problem. My problem is with the staff not being responsive when their competitors were swift in letting me know there wasn't a car available within minutes of booking. Guy here had 3.5 hours to let me know before I hopped into an Uber to make it to them.

Then this location read a patently false fuel level and charged me for gas, when I had just refueled to full at the BJ's right next to the airport, two minutes before returning the car. Talk about adding insult to injury.

DMV employees are more pleasant to deal with than the lady working the counter that day. She was rude from the second I said "hello" and completely refused to help in any capacity. According to her having plate tags that expired 5 months ago is "totally normal". Funny thing is the officer that pulled us over disagreed. If you don't enjoy dealing with the police throughout your vacation or work travel then avoid Avis or at least make sure the plate sticker is valid.

My father in law had a stroke and is in hospice and we need to drive to West Virginia, so we found a car at Avis that would work (I’m disabled and it’s very hard to find a suitable vehicle for a long car ride). We reserved it yesterday and she wrapped our name around the keys and promised it would be there this afternoon. Now we went to pick it up and they are telling us we can’t rent it because corporate said not to rent that car. There’s nothing wrong with it and we are trying to get down there as soon as we can. I’m so disgusted and devastated at being treated this way.

The car itself was in less than pristine shape for a rental with a huge dent in the back that we had to go in and tell them about to make sure we didn't get blamed it's a good thing we did because they had no clue. The vehicle was needing an oil and air filter change 100 miles into our 1500 drive. Any other rental I've ever had is a brand new fully loaded vehicle and this was far from that and insanely uncomfortable. About the only good it served was to eliminate the Traverse from my list of vehicles I'm going to look at when I buy a new one in a few months. Thanks for making a stressful situation even more stressful.
