Also, the tire of the vehicle they gave me was almost flat. I took it to the vehicle inspection station and they said that I should not drive this vehicle and that it was very dangerous. You can see from the photos I added that the tire of this vehicle was flat.Update 04/09/2025This company is absolutely irresponsible, unreliable, and shows a complete disregard for customer safety and satisfaction. Initially, I was given a faulty vehicle with multiple issues. After complaining, they claimed to offer a replacement — but the second vehicle was even worse. The rear suspension constantly makes loud, disturbing noises, and the front left tire has a large tear, making the car dangerous and unfit to drive.Despite these severe and obvious defects, they had the audacity to say the vehicle had passed inspection “without any problems.” It is simply not possible for a car in such condition to pass a legitimate inspection. This raises serious concerns about bribery or illegal practices being used to pass cars through inspection. If so, this company is directly endangering lives — and that is criminal.They kept promising to provide a new, working vehicle, yet each time delivered another broken, neglected, or unsafe car. It’s not just negligence — it’s deception, and they clearly have no respect for their customers. Due to this unacceptable behavior and gross misconduct, I have officially initiated legal action and reported the situation to the police and appropriate authorities. I was asked to sign for the damages before the person at the counter or if I had ever looked at the car. The rear bumper had damage, and the car was covered in so much salt that there was no way to tell if there were damages. I am taking it for a work trip, so I don't care if it's clean, but this was excessive. Then I get in, and the right tail light warning light is on because a light in the middle is blown. After that, I saw that the gas was at 1/3 while marked as complete. So, if I didn't see that, I would have been responsible for filling it. I am mainly posting this for more evidence because I didn't read the reviews until after, and I am not worried I will get charged for damages or the gas. I will raise the score if none of that happens. I will see them in court if it does.

And Avis can't ever find their rental agreements I don't know if they're operating solely or under the table or under the radar or what. I rented a Uber rental through this location was supposed to be at gas vehicle called 20 minutes before I got there and they said that the car was available. When I got there there was no cars available, she said she had an electric car. I took the electric car because I had just been brought there by Uber through their rental service, and me and my son were stuck there otherwise. I lost $580 in the past 3 days because of electric car issues. I called today to see if they had a gas vehicle available they said yes, And again when I got there there was no car available. My son and I are having a sleep in a Chevy bolt because we cannot afford hotel rooms because it takes so freaking long for this car to charge and the range on it is nothing. Avis literally put us to the streets. Don't ever rent from them they'll screw you over overcharge you and just say oh I'm sorry there's nothing we can do. If you're in for a good bend over and take it then go ahead rent from this place but otherwise stay away.

I had to call the police for this experience. I will never go back is the worst place ever especially with no Manager. and of course, there is no human resource to talk to good luck going there , I rent a car from there and the car is and safe to drive. I return it to her. She refused to change it for me and everybody came through the door. She gave them whatever they want gas car electric car except me. She told me I have no car to give you and I really pay for the week and of course she said the manager is on vacation, which is not true I wish for the manager there to see how she treat people. It is very sad for a business like this to have employee like her. AFTER All this AVIS they are going to send me automatic message to pretend Will help me it’s all lie I called the customer service. No one and no one is going to help you. They just lie even when they say send Explain your problem send your phone number all that’s a lie. I did all this and no one helped me. Sad if I could, I would take them to the court

Got there and the car we reserved several weeks in advance was not available, and there wasn't anything similar (a vehicle that could hold 5 adults comfortably). To the credit of the on-site office rep (and the only reason I didn't give only 1 star), she che ked to see what cars were being returned and found that one that would fit our needs was due in in about an hour. This isn't the first time I've had problems with Avis/Budget, but I think it might be the last.
