Go somewhere else!First, the vehicle was dirty and smelled like cigarette smoke. Unfortunately, I was running short on time, so I had no choice but to take it as-is. We continued to discover problems: the windshield wipers were TERRIBLE; only one washer spray nozzle worked… on the passenger side, it vibrated when driving, the tires looked dry-rotted, there was darks spots all over the headliner; smears on sun visor that looked like blood, etc. But, about 800 miles into our trip, we realized that the vehicle they put us in was not even street legal! The registration, insurance, inspection, and emissions were all LONG expired. Of course, I called my cop friend who said we could be ticketed and even arrested for it, so I immediately called Avis corporate (now 7pm). She told us that of course Avis would reimburse us any ticket costs. She seemed neither concerned nor interested in our problem and didn’t even offer an apology! Naturally, we weren’t driving it any longer, so we stayed the night in Ohio and went first thing in the morning to an Avis location to have it exchanged. This put us a few hours behind, so weren’t going to be able to drop our rental off on time. In addition, the replacement vehicle we were put in, the registration and insurance expired that day at midnight… I called this office to complain about the vehicle and tell him we would be late. He told me I was lucky to get a car at all because he was short on supply, then told me he had to deal with other customers and hung-up! To add insult to injury, he charged us another day of rental fees when HE was the reason, we were late returning in the first place!!! I will NEVER come here again and will be staying away from Avis entirely. Now I must wait to hear back from my attorney about how to proceed. Very disappointed in this service.

When I first walked in here, it was packed and there was only one guy working there; his name is Sergei. He handled himself during a rush really well. I asked him a question and he answered politely and then I scheduled a car and went to get lunch and came back later. When we got there again it was the same guy all by himself and he came out and swiftly got us set up with a car. He got a phone call and went outside to get the car ready for us and I saw him take a deep breath. He came back in, answered a couple more of my questions and we walked outside together. I asked him if he was okay and he smiled at me and said yes. Even through being flustered, maybe a little overwhelmed this man maintained a smile on his face and was willing to answer all of my dumb questions. These are the types of people you want working for your company or your franchise. Sergei upholds a standard for himself and it makes this place of business shine. Thank you so much Sergei! You did a fantastic job :)

Avis never disappoints, especially at this location.I reserved a 5 seater SUV and Sergei helped me get the best, newest model, clean auto!He checked me out in a smooth and swift manner and was so pleasant to deal with!!!I really really appreciate it and look forward to come back to this location again!!!Shoutout to Sergei!!

If I could give zero stars, I would. DO NOT rent from this place. Maybe other Avis stores are fine, but this one is a nightmare. The vehicle I reserved as not available (Kia Soul "or similar") and was given a Nissan Altima instead. I was taking the vehicle to Vermont for a hockey tournament and traveling with 2 others, so I needed a car that would fit hockey equipment, 3 people, and luggage. I own a Kia Soul and know the capacity of what I can and cannot fit in that vehicle. When I questioned why I was given the Nissan, the owner of this Avis argued with me that it was the same as the Kia (it's not), that it is bigger than the Kia (it's not), and handles better in snow (it does not). After arguing with him, it turns out the only vehicles he had on site was a Honda Civic, a Mustang, a Jeep Wrangler that didn't run, and the Nissan. After threatening to cancel my reservation and head elsewhere (I had already made phone calls and had another car on standby across the street), he tells me the Kia will be returned in about 15-20 minutes. I had also paid extra for GPS and XM Radio, which apparently the Kia did not have. I was given a shotty Garmin unit that sat on a sand bag on the dash (my passenger had to continually push it back in place as it would vibrate across the dash board) and was told I'd be refunded for the XM. Also, the air pressure in the tires were low, the car had NO wind shield washer fluid, and the wind shield wipers were so old they were nearly useless. Thankfully, I called customer service after I returned the vehicle to file a complaint and confirm I was being refunded. There was no note of the refund, no refund pending, AND I was charged an extra two hours! Customer service was stellar, I am being refunded for the GPS, the XM, and the extra two hours that I was charged for whatever reason. Bottom line: I guess you get what you pay for, as Avis was the cheapest rental in the area. This is the first and last time I will ever rent a vehicle from them, I will gladly pay extra to go to Enterprise or Fred Beans.

I arrived on time to find out that the car is not ready . It took over 30 minutes to get the car because they had to vacuum and wash it. BTW, it was still pretty dusty inside because they were on a hurry. I'm an AVIS "Preferred" customer and use AVIS at least twice a month... this is the longest wait and the worst experience so far. I won't recommend this location, unless you have nothing to do and just want to waist your time.
