He understands the concept of customer service and truly represented the company well. He changed my initial impression of Avis and because of Moe, I would definitely rent from the Red Bank location. We tried desperately to swap in Maryland and VA locations once we got to those states. After 8 hours in this awful car where my kids eyes were watering and all our clothes and hair smelled like this I went to the Richmone Airport budget to swap. Everytime I called Red Bank to complain no one answers. Why? Because the guy working there is in the back getting high. The place reeks of weed and hes clearly stoned when you go in. The health and safety of my kids were put at risk thanks to you. Not only did I waste hours of time, gas and toll money and time away from family to make this swap, I know they won't care because we've had cars from them before that smelled like smoke or pot and they just shrug and say ok. I don't care if they're open on Sundays, absolutely done with this company and this location.Update: They offered me an insulting $33 as compensation. Absolutely absurd, I spent more in tolls and gas trying to exchange this car. Oh, and the person who responded with the email to email, I did that, and it has been over a week with no response. My guess this is AI or a bot responding not actually avis.

If it was called “Rent A Wreck,” I would have believed it and felt better about transaction.Truly disappointed after seeing friendly interaction between customer before me and staff. Reserved upgraded rental. Was completely checked in and (rigorously) asked for proof of rental car insurance. Was told it was brand new car only to then be told within 3 steps away that it was returned damaged - side swiped on front passenger fender. When I objected and asked for a different car, I was told there was no other option. I felt cornered as all my information and credit card payment was already processed. Staff did not offer me any other option.Obviously, he knew about the damage but rather than being upfront about it when checking me in, he hid the fact well after he had completely checked me in.I begrudgingly took the car as I was on a tight timeline. To add insult to injury, “Maintenance Required” light kept lighting up throughout entire rental. Experience dampened my vacation. I didn’t enjoy driving the car. Didn’t want to drive it around or be seen with it. Couldn’t return it early enough to be done with it!
