I paid for an Uber to go there which was not cheap and as soon as I walked up to the desk, she said that they didn’t have a single car on the lot and that there was nothing she could do. Then proceeded to start talking to a different customer. I was absolutely furious why I was not contacted then the excuse that the so-called manager or owner emailed me from a personal account yesterday but I checked everywhere in my email never received an email from anybody telling me my reservation was canceled. In fact I received the other emails that it was confirmed. And also, I had a phone number on file. Why did I never receive a phone call?!? Never rent from this place unless you want to be SOL.

You make a reservation with them , they do not honor it, and treat you in a rude fashion to top it off . Imagine getting dropped off at their location to pick up the car ;you are headed towards the airport and they have nothing for you. (Or so they say), and then getting treated like you are worthless, and then not having anyone to contact to resolve your dilema. Avis costumer service has no power to help ,and Avis Corporate does not pick up the phone.Its time to show these companies that do not honor their contracts that we will not tolerate this behavior. We might need them once in a while,but they need us all the time to survive.DON'T SPONSOR A RENTAL COMPANY THAT DOES NOT HONOR THEIR RESERVATIONS!

However, when I arrived to pickup the rental the additional driver wasn't ALLOWED to be added on because she is 24 and not 25. If your additional driver has to 25 then that should be stated on your website and online booking should not be available for that. Also, the man at the counter was rude to us! Stated thats not going to work and through my cards on the counter. Terrible customer service.

I was given a form to give when I dropped the car off, it was the damage form.Reluctantly, I took the car. Took photos and video of it before even opening the door (check out the photo I attached…..THIS is the quality of avis rentals).Used the car and dropped it off. Three months pass, all must be good, right? NOPEThree months after rental I get an email saying I owe close to $1500 for damage and they want my insurance info so they can file a claim. I email this company, who are glacial with their response times, photo and video proof that the damage was preexisting. They stop corresponding. I sent follow up emails to no avail. Therefore I foolishly assumed the drama was over. NOPE, when avis wants you to fix their car for free, they don’t stop.About a month after my last email from sedwick claims, I get a letter from viking collections. Yeah, avis turned this over to collections. I send them a dispute and am now waiting to see what is going on.As an aside, after sending viking the dispute, I contacted avis who were oh so helpful. They basically told me that these two companies are my problem, not theirs.So, as I now look around for a good attorney to bring legal into this, I am warning others. Don’t use avis. This is what I tell my friends, family, and anyone who asks. I now warn you, stranger.Late Update: I contacted avis using the email they gave in their canned response below. They were useless and unhelpful, not to mention rude. I stick by my above statement, don’t ever use this garbage company.
