It was a good experience overall, and workers were pleasant (I would have been CRAZY with being that non stop busy all day, so Kudos to them! 🤣) and helped everyone pleasantly, even though many seemed upset that they had to wait. Maybe Budget should hire more staff...or at least PAY these people more for the work they do. 🤷

It was originally 692 for my rental, I returned it one day later, no way does that calculate to $1,100 I need a phone call right away!On January 8th I walked into this location so happy after having been stuck at home for a week, I was just generally excited to take my kids to school, get coffee, so regular things. The gentleman that assisted me Keith, was so rude, and so negative, that it just killed my mood entirely from him not helping as he could with a promo code to him walking away and having another associate finish the transaction.Long story short after spending an hour at the counter, Keith walking away, the other associate writing down my codes and me trying to make another reservation, i said just give me whatever car you have I don't care at this point.I was given a Toyota wagoneer, I was just handed keys, nobody walked me to the vehicle or inspected it, before I get home I look down and realize the check engine light, tire pressure light, and battery light are on. So I take the car back and get the Chevy equinox.At this point my mood has gone from amazing to I want to cry, and it was all because budget employees didn't do their job properly and didn't care to have a smile on their face when I walked in the door. Everyone has bad days, but when you work in customer service, you don't project those bad vibes on to your customers.It gets worse, so I return the car on the 23rd at 6:30, which is after Time but I let them know, and I didn't do anything wrong in my mind I didn't get papers or walked to my vehicle when I got it.So I'm enjoying my Saturday the 25th, I get a text that says your car is 3 days late, I then call customer service and get an associate who puts me on hold and calls the store, she then comes back on the line to tell me that the car was returned today. So at that point I go so they just returned it now when you called them? Because I got the text saying my rental was not returned. The associate doesn't clear this up but continues to tell me that the car was returned today, I asked for a supervisor, she has sent me an email to provide proof that I returned the car because the budget employee failed to do their job or notice that the car was back in their very small lot mind you.So because budget employees don't do their job right, this terrible experience continues into my weekend, and because they didn't turn my car in I have to spend time emailing proof that I did. I would like somebody to contact me for this experience, it's been awful and I will never use budget again.Customers shouldn't have to pay for employees not doing their job right, and in this case that's just what they were trying to do.

Picked up the vehicle and Mike (who clearly has no customer service skills or skills in general) was rude and barely knew what he was talking about. The vehicle they provided should not have been on the road. The door wouldn't close properly which could have been disastrous, the tire pressure light stay on constantly, etc. Took the vehicle back first thing in the morning the next day to swap it out and what they offered was worse. Then had the audacity to send me on a wild goose chase to try and find a replacement. Didn't even offer to assist with finding one or provide a phone to call. So it left me stuck with no transportation for 11 people who had come from multiple states for the holiday. Trying to get a refund took longer than it should have, Mike had no clue how to operate the computer and was literally one finger typing while trying to read the screen. After calling 3 different people to figure out how to print a receipt, he says I'm in the wrong system. It would probably cut back on a lot of issues if the people hired at this location were vetted better and could comprehend instructions. Regrettably this is not a corporate location, it's an independent franchise. Nonetheless new management/staff/vehicles are severely needed. I'll be sure to pass this on to corporate.

Additionally the customer service was the worst, the employee was impatient and unwilling to answer simple questions. We left because he changed the car on us and got mad when we ask why he changed the car, then decided to kick us out. Very unprofessional even after we stated that we'll take the car. Would never recommend this to anyone.
