I left the keys in the car as instructed by their written directions at the return area. They are now billing me daily, claiming I haven’t returned the car. I am in Alaska visiting my daughter who has terminal cancer and now I have this to worry about! I have tried multiple times to call them but it is impossible to talk to anyone on the phone. No wonder they have so many bad reviews.

We rented this car from them and the bumper was held together by glue. There was a huge wind storm with 80mph winds that pulled the bumper off a bit. This horrible lady at the counter was not understanding, not empathetic, and just kept repeating the same thing over and over when we would ask a question. She said that since the “initial damage wasn’t reported”, (meaning, the incident where they ended up supergluing it back) , that we would have to go through our insurance and also pay for loss of use the entire time it was being repaired. Instead of being empathetic to our frustrations, she made it worse by making the comments, “Well if you would’ve bought the minimum coverage..” and, “I know when my bumper had to be replaced, it took a month. And you’ll be responsible for loss of use during that time.” I was asking questions and she just kept saying, “I’m not renting the vehicle to you, I’m renting to your mother.” EXCUSE ME? Who the heck responds like that when a complication arises? She was also making rude comments to the foreign travelers that were “helped” after us. All of this in addition to making comments to me when I was talking to my mother and being a completely disrespectful associate to people when they’re going through a tough time. Customer service sucks and their lack of empathy is overwhelming. The car also smelled like cigarettes and someone’s backpack was in the front seat. AND the bumper on the replacement vehicle was coming off also. The ONLY good part was the lady who gave us the keys and the gentleman at the exit booth were super sweet and helpful and extremely sympathetic. We will never rent from here again.

All staff were polite and helpful. Highly recommended. I'm sure it's gets busy sometimes but we had zero issues.

To make matters worse, there are four pending charges on my card totaling nearly $3,000. Frustrating doesn't come close to describing the experience.
