I purchased extra insurance through carrentals because it was cheap and wanted extra protection. When I arrived the associate asked me if I wanted rental insurance. Not only did I say no, I showed the girl the email showing I purchased it already. When i checked my credit card statement they charged me $206.00 for insurance. I then realized there is ZERO way to contact Dollar rental car or their affiliate Hertz. The phone numbers online do not work. Their website says sorry we are fixing things....for 3 weeks. It shows an email address to communicate with tthem. It does not work. I called the airport and spoke to a woman and she said I had to contact corporate. The 2 numbers she gave me for corporate dont work. I then read online that employees get compensated for selling insurance. Its fraud. 2 days later I got hit with a charge for $44 dollars. Dollar Rental started even though I refused their toll pass I activated it once I was in the vehicle. I don't know how to activate it, was never shown how to activate it and have no idea where it is. I didn't go through tolls so I didn't need it. But again....there is no way to contact them. AVOID HERTZ AND DOLLAR RENTAL AT ALL COST. THEY ARE THEIVES. After writing this review Dollar rental sent me a link to their support page. IT DOESN'T WORK. No matter what phone number I put in its says it is not valid and I can not send my information......SCAM!

They even gave me a new car as a rental. They sent me a receipt for the exact price they quoted. I will definitely rent here again.

We get to hertz and there's two guys inside, with a line wrapped around the parking lot back into the terminal.Averaging a full 15-20 minutes per customer, it took us over two hours to get our car.Even though I filled out the pre-pickup forms, verified my license and identity, and uploaded my card inorder to 'skip the line' as advertised, it made no difference. Absolutely still had to wait in the line. Absolute joke

The small room I waited in had an unpleasant smell. I was given a car, but after looking it up online, I found it was a size smaller than what I had reserved. When I mentioned this to the staff member, she insisted it was the correct size but couldn’t show proof in their booking system. After further checking on Hertz's website, I confirmed that the car was indeed from a lower class than what I paid for. I went back and requested a supervisor, and only then did she give me the vehicle I had originally reserved. Overall, frustrating experience, and I won't be renting from this location again.
