UPDATE:: They also tried to give me a Nissan versa, which is a compact. I do not see compact on either of my reservations……9854 Fairfax Blvd, Fairfax, VA 22030Try this enterprise instead, never had an issue at the other Fairfax location! First time here, unaccommodating, unfriendly, and they receive your reservations a minimum of 48 hours after you make them. “We received your reservation today (Tuesday, June 24, 2025).”I was hit, insurance set up everything. I’m now sitting in an uber because it takes them 48 hours to receive your rental request and verify by a phone call information that is required at the time of rental. 2 Ubers, 3 days without a vehicle, and it’s my fault for not confirming before I arrived.

I reserved a full-size elite vehicle and completed the online check-in in advance. Upon arriving on time, I waited 20 minutes before being given a mid-size elite instead. When I inquired about the discrepancy, I was initially told the two were equivalent. Only after pressing the issue did the representative acknowledge that they are, in fact, different vehicle classes. Despite this, no pricing adjustment was offered, and I didn’t have time to pursue it further.While this wasn’t a major issue, it was handled unprofessionally. If a company branch struggles with a relatively minor matter like this, it doesn’t inspire confidence in their ability to handle more serious situations.

I initially reserved a premium full-sized SUV at one of their sister locations along Lee Highway, which was to be used to carry 8 people.On the day of pick up, I was told the SUV class I reserved could not be dispatched due to a safety recall, which was understandable. The receptionist offered a different vehicle that should have 8 seats, which was a Dodge Durango available at the Nutley Street branch. I was lent a Hyundai Palisade to drive the Nutley St branch and essentially exchange vehicles.I asked the first receptionist I engaged with to confirm that the Durango has eight seats, to which they confirmed that ALL Durangos are 8 seaters.Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I waited for the vehicle. As soon as the vehicle pulled up to the front, another receptionist did a quick walk around the vehicle as usual, to which I asked her to confirm if the Durango has eight seats, to which she pointed out the bench seats (sits 3) in the center of the vehicle.Most mid to full sized vehicles usually come with three seats in the back, so I assumed that because there is a bench seat in the center that the vehicle would accommodate 8 in total.As soon as I picked up my passengers, however, I realized the back seats did NOT accommodate 3 people. The most it accommodated was 2, while 3 are able to sit in the center bench. Hence, we had to make some arrangements which was an inconvenience to me and the people I was supposed to be transporting.A simple Google search will tell you that a modern Durango will seat 7 people, which is the complete opposite from what all receptionists I’ve talked to said.That said, I give this branch 3 stars because the service was decent enough, was lent a vehicle to drive between branches with no extra charge, and did not charge me based on the premium full-size SUV rental. However, while I understand that not everyone needs to be a car person, at least know how many occupants your vehicles accommodate.

I had a very frustrating experience renting a car from the Enterprise location on Nutley Street in Fairfax, VA. The branch manager, Stanley, checked me in, and unfortunately, the entire process was uncomfortable from the start. While handling my check-in, I overheard Stanley having a conversation with one of his employees about not working while eating lunch. He was criticizing his employee for not being productive, which felt unprofessional and awkward.Then, the issues with my rental began. I was told the car I was supposed to pick up was still at the shop getting serviced after he checked me in. He told me that one of the drivers was going to pick it up and should be ready in 10-15 mins. Then 10 mins later, he told me the car needed two new tires, so I couldn’t rent it at all. The only available option at that point was a smaller SUV, which was unsuitable for my needs as it wouldn’t fit all my guests comfortably. I booked a large SUV for a reason.He made several attempts to call other locations in Fairfax to inquire about larger vehicles, but after failing to reach, he kinda brushed me off to go to another location and try your luck. Once arrived at the other location, they didn’t have ANY vehicles available. Frustrated, I eventually returned to the Nutley Street location, where I ended up renting the smaller SUV after wasting over an hour. I was too exhausted to keep searching for a better option. Also I was still charged the same amount of money I paid for a Large vehicle when I rented for a smaller SUV because I rented thru a third party company website. But wasn’t this your company’s fault for having the car serviced at the time I was supposed to pick it up and for not having sufficient inventory?Based on my experience, I would not recommend this location. The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and the overall inconvenience made for a very disappointing rental experience.

I had a great experience talking to Afrah when my rental reservation from an insurance claim was mistakenly assigned to this location. Afrah was proactive and helpful and made sure to transfer me to the correct location, and told me if I couldn't get a car there I could call back and she would make it work. She was great and I am really grateful she was the one who answered my call; she made a stressful day easier. Thanks!
