I’ve checked in through my phone, which is very convenient when I got to Hertz. My car was ready as I was doing my inspection. I realize the card that they actually gave me an upgrade on had a flat tie. It was a Tesla. I didn’t went to ask for another vehicle. I waited over 30 minutes because some paperwork was needed to get another vehicle I asked to speak to the supervisor who never came down to speak with me I got another vehicle and that vehicle seats were not adjust at all, and it was another electrical vehicle in which I asked for a gas car and then got another vehicle which was filthy and dirty because the car wash is not up and running the check engine light came on Missing keys light came on Check engine oil light came on in the pictures below, you’ll see how many times I had to transfer vehicles you’ll see the lights that came on and you’ll see the time that I left. This is unacceptable a big inconvenience. I have prior engagements that I had to miss out on and I had to bring the rental car back earlier than intended. I request a refund I put in a complaint. I was told the complaint will be put in in someone contact me if need be I was also told because I booked through a third-party that I need to speak with them about a refund. I pay my money and I I’m very dissatisfied

I choose the « manager choice » to let them flexibility on car they provide.I arrived last night at their office to pick up the car and guess what ?..they have no car available and just asked all customers to leave by uber.This morning i will ll go back to the rental agency to try to get a car, but honestly my expectation to get a car is low, and my expectations to get a compensation is VERY low.Update June 22nd 8.30am: « for Loyalty member, there is a 1h wait to get a car », here i am wasting 1h of my time again..9.45am: still waiting, and still no apologies from the staff10am: the support page indicated on the hertz comment below is not answering neither10.18am: finally get a car. 13h delay to get a car..additional notes:Note 1: same experience happened mast feb 2025.Note 2: Staff onsite is nice and try to help, but honestly this looks like a management issue.Note 3: all hertz subsidiary at this location are impacted as well.Note 4: unfortunately I do think that my next steps to get a compensation will be contact national customer service, then copy letter to the CEO.. then copy on social media, but honestly, this is a lot of work for a 170usd rental, and no compensation..Basic Customer service is a unknown value :(

Unfortunately there were no cars available and 50+ people waiting. Not only did I have to wait for 2 hours and miss a scheduled meeting I had (for business) but I also didn’t receive the car I reserved and was charged the same amount. I would have appreciated notification that there was an issue, I could have made other arrangements. My first and last time renting with Hertz.

Of course after reading recent reviews I started panicking and thinking that I was probably going to have the same issues people were having at this Hertz location. My reservation was for 14:30 but based on the reviews about long waiting lines, I decided to get there super early. I arrived at the location around 1250. I have to say that I was shocked. Not sure if I was just super lucky but there was no line at the Hertz counter. I walked up to the counter and was immediately greeted by one of their employees. I wish I wrote down his name but he was very professional and did not mind the fact that I arrived super early. I think the whole process took about 10 to 15 minutes. He gave me the information about my car and told me were to go. I went to the back to get my car and had no issues at all. There were some female employees in the lot that were very helpful as well since I had a few questions about my car. Leaving the lot was super easy. I gave my documents and license to the gate person, he verified the information and I was on my way. I do have to say that I gave 4 stars since I did find a few trash items (straw wrapper and 2 soda bottle caps) but other than that the car was very clean.

The customer reps can't even work through an issue with a booking. They had us call their 800 number while they sat at their terminal. Not their fault, they didn't have access to the portion of the system that would allow them to change our booking. Trust your people Hertz!
