Jesse I would assume is the manager at this location has the worst customer service I have ever had in my life! They gave me a EV rental and the rental had no charge keep in mind I had to drive all the way from San Diego in my personal vehicle with my child to have to drive back to San Diego with 90 mile on the EV charge not only that they gave me a car that had a malfunction with the charging port! They told me when I received the keys that the car needed maintenance knowing I had to drive all the way back to San Diego. Tried charging the vehicle when I got back to Oceanside and the charger port would not charge spent like 25 on my card trying to charge the car wouldn’t work! My child spent 25 on his card to try to charge it wouldn’t charge took 5 buck from the both of us and now at this moment getting towed all the way back to fountain valley to get in a different vehicle. Not only did Jesse tell me that he wouldn’t be able to give me a full EV or Gas vehicle to be able to drive back he blamed the issue on that location not having enough workers to take care of the vehicle issue like fueling or charging vehicles! This is a scam if you ask me and I don’t see how a company as big as hurts can allow thing like this to happen! Im very disappointed with it in a whole. It is 2024 and this is crazy how a company can operate in these type manners and rob people of there time and money! They not only took two days from me they are also expecting me to pay a payment of $401 and some change by the end of the week just to Drive this is not what I expected at all! Called road side assist and they took me to another location where I am currently waiting to get picked up to get into a new EV that actually charges. Don from maintenance helped me get in touch with the CEO and he said they will make things right. Fingers crossed. Update so today December 2 I woke up and open my Lyft app and tell me why Hurts decided to try to charge me $458.10. For The messed up car they gave me not only Jessy, who I thought was the manager obviously is not he’s just an employee who doesn’t like his job. I called over 150 times finally Jessy answered the phone and I had asked to speak to the manager And put me on hold for Four hours I got so irritated that I drove all the way from San Diego Just to find out that Aaron wasn’t even in today, he kept me on hold like if Aaron was working!! Tried to have him call Aaron so I can try to get this situated because there is no reason I’m getting charged 400 and something dollars for A car that didn’t charge when I tried to plug the car in It said check the electrical system And would not charge like I said, I had to get a roadside assistant tow all the way back to fountain Valley For a maintenance issue on the vehicle that I did not do. Not only that Jessy refused to help me whatsoever he wouldn’t call his manager. He kept claiming that he was the only one in office and he He made me call a number that did not help at all Would not help me Jessy needs to be fired ASAP If he doesn’t like his job, he should not be working there. I have photos of how many times I called the store which was over 100 times and I’m talking back to back I have pictures of what the vehicle was saying as far as the maintenance Not only that Aaron told me before I left at the car needed to be maintenance Allowed me to drive off with that vehicle and now they are trying to charge me for that issue. I would advise you to not rent from that Hertz location. You will get treated like you are nothing. Do yourself a favor And stay away from that location by any means That location needs to be shut down tomorrow And Jessy needs to be in unemployment line tomorrow!

I have to drive from Palm Springs to get to this location, with my 3 children with me. The first vehicle that I received the front frame fell off of the passenger side door, while I was driving. The representative that works there, Jesse, filed a fraudulent claim against me for a cracked windshield. This is the second rental car that I received from this location. Jesse asked to attend a concert with me that I told him that I was attending for my birthday. I told him the concert was sold out. After, I declined Jesse's inquiry about a date for my birthday, Jesse filed a fraudulent claim against me stated that I cracked the windshield. This location is extremely rude and unprofessional.

Long responsive times, dirty cars, that they want their customers to clean for them. No definitely go somewhere else! Prices are too high nothing is explained and you end up losing both time and money. Aaron the store manager is rude and very unprofessional. He shouldn’t be in management if that’s how he treats customers. He leaves you on hold for hours instead of resolving the issue. I waited an hour on hold before I hung up. To the Hertz company if you have employees like Aaron the store manager your company or at bare minimum branch location won’t be in business for too long. Emmensly disappointed dissatisfied.
