I reserved a truck online through this company and clearly entered my age as 21 during the booking process. The system let me reserve the truck without any warnings or restrictions. However, when I arrived at the rental location, I was told they couldn’t release the truck to me because I was under 25 years old. This critical information should have been made clear during the reservation process, but it wasn’t.To make matters worse, the only vehicle they were willing to offer me was a small sedan, which obviously didn’t meet my needs. I asked if I could add a friend as the driver—someone over 25—and was told I would have to pay an additional $200 just to make that change. That fee was never mentioned anywhere during the reservation process, and it felt like they were just trying to squeeze more money out of a bad situation.Frustrated, I decided to cancel the reservation, only to be informed that I wouldn’t receive any refund because I was 10 minutes past the pickup time. So not only did they fail to inform me of critical age restrictions and hidden fees, but they also charged me for a vehicle I was never allowed to take.This experience was beyond frustrating—poor communication, hidden fees, and inflexible policies that feel like a trap. I strongly advise anyone considering this company to look elsewhere. There are far more transparent and customer-friendly rental services out there.

One of my Bucket list i wanted to rent a Tesla, So I did. It was a nightmare. As I see itSo the day before pickup I called to make sure I was getting a tesla and the guy said he didn't have one and he wasn't sure if he was gonna get one, so he said I'll call you back before 5. We'll steve never called. So the next day before pickup I called and called and I finally got thru. At 830am, If I hadn't I was gonna cancel, my pickup was at 9 I got there at 10 only cause i wanted a tesla not a similar to...I didn't walk out till 1030. The guy got me all setup showed me some things in the car but he wasn't very clear on a few things.. I wasn't sure how to get into the charging bay.. and he had mentioned I was renting for a wk. I corrected him and said 5 days.. hmmm. We'll when I was returning in the car he decided to let me know I could have kept the car for 2 more days.. So as I see it I paid for 7 days and only got 5. I'm the renter so I wasn't sure of the language he was speaking.. as I see it Hertz is taking from the customer. This should have been more clear. But then he said you could have seen this online. I told him going online it wanted me to agree to cookies for my info to be sold on the market. So I didnt go online but he could have been more clearer on my options..On the other side of that issue..The car was nice, fun, flashy, different, a learning experience, nice to use from your phone at the tesla app. Lots of trunk and frunk space, quite, rides smooth.. etc it was a good experience..But the charging was pricey..A full charge is about 20.00 which is the same as using a half a tank of gas in my honda. So to fill my honda it's about 42 dollars..I drove 465mile and spent 63 dollars.. as I see it I'm not saving money on gas it's the same. I charged up to 100% and before I can drive 1 mile home it was at 99%.. where is the savings.. a Tesla should be able to last longer on a charge.. this car shouldn't be for just going home and to wk.. oh.. I also tried to charge from hm.. it was on 48% and it told me it was gonna be 20hrs to full.. hmm. The rented tesla's should have a fast charger at home if that's what a renters wanted to do..Also I wanted all or any recorded things from the car deleted... He never helped me look that up to delete. Yet he could take a phone call and go check on things for a caller.. customer first I thought was the rule.. hmmm or to ask the customer is there anything else he can help me with.. Customer serv at the Southside location is laking and needs attention... HERTZ !!Got a response from hertz.. computer generated.. this isn't a proper response for a business trying to strive.. I don't want to be swept under the rug. I would like a call from DM on this matter. My info is in your system please contact me.. thx.. I'll be looking for your contact.

I put this review up before but the area manager when I told him I did he told me that that it would affect him too so I asked him if he would like me to take it down he said yes he would greatly appreciate that and he'd would show me some type of appreciation for it but that never came to fruition .....I mean it was kind of weird he even asked me why don't I just go to another location and I informed him that this is the cheapest place for me to go and he still insisted that I go somewhere else " I weirdly chuckled inside" as I was informing him about the managers behavior there I think her name is Patricia "she's a black very heavy set lady'' You would think she's his sibling or something how he shields her... Today I went to rent my car on Phillips highway a different location from the south side one Patricia's at but when I walked in she's sitting there and she refused to rent to me from her location on the south side but mysteriously she's willing to rent me today but she's being very rude she was going to let another customer go in front of me and one of her employees insisted that I go next because I was here before him so she proceeds to say "oh Mr Joseph in a singing manner" and I looked at her and ask her if she's going to rent from me as I'm I'm about to get up she calls the guy over again and I'm like what are you doing and she looked at me and said "are you getting up or what".it wasn't even enough time for her to be doing this she's antagonizing me after the fact that she refuses to let me rent from her location but she's going to treat me abruptly over here as well I mean I'm a gold member but no one should be treated like this

Called and got a price from the Hertz rental call center. Went to pick up the car and told they couldn’t honor the price and jumped it $80+. Was given a Nissan Versa to drive and it didn’t drive great.

I'm a gold member I've been renting from several rental companies for years this is the most horrible disrespectful experience I've ever had especially by a manager this lady is nasty nice You think she's being nice to you but really she isn't she's probably laughing at you because you didn't catch what she was doing however she refuses to rent from me at her location with no explanation I've been trying to get in touch with the air manager but that seems to be useless I had an issue where she rented me a car that needed maintenance I always rent for a month pretty much I don't even know why she rented me that car however I had to bring it back in but I wasn't in town so it was very inconvenient for me however I end up coming in too late so I had to have the car towed into the location because they put a lock on it as I'm coming in with a tow truck she's laughing at me she's even laughing after I get out of the tow truck she still laughing as I'm walking tour with her I don't know what she's laughing at but her and the dude that cleans the carl laughing like something's a joke I told their manager what happened I even put up a review as I told him and from the countenance on his face he didn't me do that so I didn't he insisted and told me that he will look out for me or whatever that never happened she even refused to rent to me that day like she shooeed me out the door and that's when I seen the manager and I told him what was going on and he said that he would get me in a car so I waited outside made my reservation and everything was cool I came back and she wouldn't let me rent with my rental was up she made me go to another location I've been doing this for like about 3 or 4 times maybe like I said I'm a gold member but no one should have to go through this.....
