We had just picked it up and none of us had been back there yet. We then discovered old water bottles, cans, etc under the front passenger seat and trash. Just nasty. They clearly didn’t clean anything- just ran through the car wash. It was electric and they gave it to us around 30% which I know the policy is between 20-80 but it literally had less than 50 miles. So disgusting that my husband went back the next day to swap it. We got a different vehicle and it smells HORRIBLE. Went to buy some air fresheners but not sure if I can stomach the smell for long. I don’t have time to keep going back and forth but I would never rent from this location again. Two stars only because it’s a moving vehicle.

It all started with the selected vehicle I was given the vehicle was too small so I requested a larger size vehicle but was told they didn’t have anymore at that time and they would call me when something larger was available when driving I noted the vehicle was slow picking up speed, dirty filthy to be exact, and had a foul odor. I immediately took the car back to Hertz upon entering the driveway I could see the manager Sal quickly heading to the back area I call out but no one answered I headed to the restroom which posted an out of order sign as I turn to leave guess who’s coming out of the restroom non other than manager Sal, yelling that I could not come into that area in which the Public restroom was located. I informed him of the issues concerning the vehicle he immediately became defensive, loud, aggressive And threatening. This man told me the car was definitely clean because he cleaned it and there was nothing wrong with the vehicle, he then opted to cancel the rental and tell me to “get out of his store” without attempting to resolve the issue While waiting for my ride two young men (black) walked in to rent a vehicle they were informed it would be a $500 deposit but I had just paid a $200 deposit… everything about this establishment is unethical. And just to be clear I used my debit card 1st then my credit card the deposit was the same using both transactions.
Sep 05, 2024 · YOLANDA COLEMEANThis location was the worst. I had an issue and they would not call 800 to help. The manager Sal was very dismissive and could have cared less to help. The employees kept disappearing and new customers had to wait to get help. The car was dirty that they gave me and I was willing to not say anything but after such horrible customer service the community has the right to know where not to go. I saw this same dirty car being given to new customers. The back tire kept at low and I had to refill it twice as I was out of state. Lastly I was told on they didn't have drivers and nobody waiting around to drop off. Magically after I got my ride after waiting 30 minutes a driver appeared. So now Sal is also a lier who has horrible customer service.

I hate when people work in customer service and don't have people skills. Do not waste your time or money. The cars are the worst, wasn't clean, dents, spider webs. Just a horrible selection of cars. Smh. Take your buisness elsewhere! You've been warned!

The manager is extremely busy because of the location and the traffic and yet he tries to accommodate everyone to the best of his ability. He is really a good person and I have been treated very well at this location. Please understand as with all businesses you have good and bad encounters, but please do not rate the overall experience on one bad encounter. I will rent here again!
