I had a reservation as I did it all online for 11:00am and I had to wait until 1:30pm to receive the car. I was overcharged for two days and only had it one day and never got my $100 deposit. I've Emailed and never got a reply. This is absolutely unacceptable! DO NOT GO THERE!! They also charged my niece thousands for a week rental as she was triple over charged. The two agents were checking in and out people, cleaning the cars, and taking keys for returns and not putting it into the system until the next day. Therefore, people were getting charged for another day when it was returned in time!

Fixed reservation date and payment issues immediately and sent follow ups while in the rental. Preferred rental agency also for alternative drop off locations.

I experienced the most rude, unprofessional, discriminatory service I have ever received.I booked my appointment online for Saturday for a 12pm pickup. Now, I was unaware that the location actually closed at 12pm as the website let me make my booking with no notification AND I never received a phone call confirming my appointment, as I typically do with Enterprise, that notified me of my appointment time and the conflicting store closing time. I arrived at 12:03pm and was refused service or entrance into the building. I spoke with an individual by the name of Daniel who was very rude and condescending. I informed him I was unaware of their closure time and asked for grace since I was only 3 minutes behind my scheduled pickup. He refused and proceeded to tell me that I could escalate and that the only thing that would happen is I would “probably get a free rental”. After a long conversation, one which probably took longer than if he just allowed me to proceed with a rental, a young lady with her daughter I assume walked up asking for assistance. Daniel told her to wait, I assume he wanted to wait until he believed I had left, and then had Mike come out and help. Not only was she helped but she was allowed in the building at precisely 12:29pm (photos attached for proof). I will be escalating my complaint to the district level as I strongly believe my treatment was racially motivated.I have attached photos of my reservation, and pictures of them allowing another customer in after I was refused service with a time stamp on the pictures for accuracy.
Jun 09, 2024 · Robert BrownDO NOT RENT FROM HEREif you want the short version: online you can reserve and pay with the promise of walking in and just grabbing the keys. i did that, was then told i needed to pay $670 for a deposit before i could pick up the car, they didnt have the car i paid for, got a much lower tier car. waited over 4 hours, got the car returned it and they kept the $670. all in all i paid $1200 for what was supposed to be $300.heres the long version for those interested: this was my first time renting a car so i thought doing it online would be super simple. on the website it has 2 cars availble (there were actually more but only 2 are relevant for this situation) a chevy trax for $112 / day or a large SUV for $260/day. i got the SUV and had $570 charged to my card the day before pickup. dis the check in and it said all i needed to do was show up at 8am and pick up the keys.i show up at 8am, they tell me you NEED to have a $400 deposit on a credit card specifically. i dont have a credit card with that high of a limit. they never mentioned this online. they told me that they could give me a smaller car but for the larger suv it would require a credit card. so i have to get a smaller car, the chevy trax is what they have available. well that car is less than half what i already was charged. too bad for me, they cant change the rate, the sales guy tells me i have to call customer service to get it resolved. not only did i spend over 4 hours waiting and had them literally leave for a large portion of that time so i was just waiting alone in that building but then they say they cant even help with being charged double so i have go call someone else.whatever i do the rental period, i end up needing it for an extra day and i call customer service. they tell me theyll take the $112/day multiply it by 3 day and then the remaining amount will be returned to me. so $570-$336 means ill get $236 returned to me after the rental. i return the car and a few days go by.i havent recieved my refund. i havent even recieved my deposit back. i call customer service again, they tell me that theyll have $130 returned now for some new bs fees. and that the $670 charge shouldve already been returned. it hasnt. i call chase, chase says its not a hold or a deposit but a regular charge and its finished processing so unless hertz makes a refund i already paid permanently.i call hertz again and they say 7-10 days. chase issues me a temporary credit and i wait. its been a month now and im down randomly $700 in my bank account, what happened. well apparently hertz responded to the claim with a laundry list of new fees that conviently come out to exactly as much as was charged to my account a month prior. fees that they claim for things that were impossible because it was charged before i even got the car. chase says according to them they charged what i agreed to and its over. when i call hertz tells me one thing, my bank statements and their response to chase is a complete 180. absolutely insane. i paid 4x the amount quoted online. i dont care how its chooped up, online for a chevy trax is $112/day. i had it 3 days. i have a $570 & $670 charge on my card. 112 x 3 = $1240.00 according to hertza literal scam, an absolute fraudulent company and transaction. this place is literally criminal, DO NOT GET SCAMMED. GO SOMEWHERE ELSEUPDATE: right after i dropped off the car a family member asked who i rented from because they live in temecula too and needed to rent a car. i hadnt gone through all this drama yet so i told them the hertz on jefferson and this week they also got their statement finalized and the "temporary deposit" was also not returned for them. so apparently its common to pay a little over double what the total initial charge is. absolutely wild, i dont know how this is legal

Vehicle stayed at the location for a few days until they called me to let mw know that vehicle was not picked up. Called office and another employee told me that I needed to take care of the situation. Left messages for Maria Ola manager to call me. No calls received. Asked for Area managers phone and Michael told me they didn't have his number only email. I sent multiple emails to both manager and area manager but no response for a couple days. The area manager Hootan stated that I signed the document an that i needed to take care of the vehicle pick up. I called to get the vehicle picked up and was told there would be fees for the TOW I did explain that I would not pay for it. Area manager emailed back that they would refund the tow, I asked how many rental days they would charge since it should be zero since the car was unsafe to drive BUT he told me he did not know that another department takes care of that. I requested the phone number of who to speak to BUT still waiting on the response... I will update after everything is finalizedUpdate 6/27Emailed area manager Hootan 6/24 three times to get amount of days charged but stated another department takes care of it. No answer yet!Completed the Hertz survey I’m suppose to have gotten a response but nothing.So far no one has helped me! Very disappointing!
