Be careful returning and take good photos and make sure u document everything.Rented me a dirty truck, have a return policy they didn’t honor and pulled nonsense month after the fact from an old rental.Very frustrating but finally resolved it after countless hours and days w/Turo C.S..Awful experience, I will never use this car rental company again.Terrible!!

Avis didn’t have any cars available at the time I needed them so I tried out Turo. Besides those three things, LA Auto Spot is not as bad as everyone’s claiming them to be. They communicate fast, the men at the lot take care of you so if you have concerns they handle it. When my car overheated, I brought it back and they got me swapped out.Almost a month renting from them so it can’t be that bad right?

Apr 20, 2025 · Chris Lee*TURO USERS AVOID*I’m not sure if they’re in some type of collusion with the nearest gas station because they purposely go the the gas station that charges $6 a gallon as opposed to the gas station half a mile away that’s $3.50 a gallon . They also hike their prices after you reserve a vehicle so if you need to extend later on it’ll be much more. This place is a straight up a breeding ground to stealyour money anyway they can. Keep in mind I keep the car very tidy and clean very thorough before I return. Just an awful way to treat your customers
May 17, 2025 · TykoI wish I would’ve read the reviews before I rented from LA Spot. I rented twice from there, in all fairness the first rental was perfect. The car was brand new, clean with no issues. My second rental was not so good. Dirty interior stains on the seat and floorboard, foot scuff marks on the sides of the door and floor boards. They reported me to Turo for returning the vehicle dirty which Turo has charged me a cleaning fee of $150 plus other fees and is refusing to dismiss the charge. So now Turo is also getting a bad review from a long-term loyal customer. It’s a shame that they try to scam you out of money because it really is an easy place to rent from however, it’s not worth it. Rent from somewhere else, you have plenty of options.
