She also shared some things I was also unaware of that would work to my advantage traveling in the future. I had rented a car from this location, and they incorrectly charged me a 35.97$ refueling fee, even though I had filled in gas full from Roosevelt literally

Tragically have to write a bad review. The service at this location and others I have visited have been fine and the employees seem very nice and helpful. I've had good experience with Sixt in the past while renting in Europe and thought this Chicago experience was a good one until they started pursuing us for damage that was already listed on the rental agreement, which they never gave us, it was the collection agency that sent it to us. The rim scam again, which is apparently a common thing and they have a class action lawsuit against them for it. When originally contacted about it, we denied that it happened and we never heard from them again. Then they apparently sent it to a collection agency and at this point it is too late for the insurance we had to help (seems convenient). This is such a wildly common experience with Sixt that I will no longer be renting through them and I suggest that no one else does either.

Absolutely terrible experience with SIXT Chicago South Loop. Avoid this location at all costs.When I picked up the car, the fuel tank was less than half full. Despite that, I was still expected to return it with a full tank—which is completely unreasonable. There was no explanation at pickup, and when I tried to clarify the policy, I called multiple times during business hours and no one ever answered. I also sent an email, but received no reply before returning the car.I returned the vehicle on June 22nd at 3:00 PM, which is two hours before the scheduled return time of 5:00 PM. No staff were present, so I left a note in the car explaining the fuel issue.Then, to make matters worse, I received an email falsely claiming that the return was overdue.That is simply not true, and frankly unacceptable.This company is unresponsive, careless, and shows no respect for customers. I’ve rented cars all over the world, and this was by far the worst experience.Avoid this location at all costs.
